• Command of RC Servo motion control/KollMorgen AKD Modbus

  I'm just learning about LabView on a project to control a RC Servo.  I have implemented a train VI with a USB-6210 pulse generator and you can control the position of the servo using a button control.  I want to be able to program the movement of the servo to follow a sine, square and triangle wave.  I tried to use the function VI generator to generate the signal but can't get the servo to move.  Someone can give me some tips on how to generate the desired waveform and use it to vary continuously the duty cycle of the pulse train?  I thought that it would just to replace the button with the function of driving control?

  My ultimate goal is to use the concept of driving a car KollMorgen AKD using Modbus to perform a similar function.

  You cannot activate Reader WorkBench hardware. Hardware enable PIN is 8/4 X and has to be supplied so that the player is hardware enabled. See page 134 of the installation guide for more information.

• cRIO ethercat application error

  I have a cRIO-9074 connected to and AKD via EtherCAT drive, running in standard mode.

  Simple straight line move using a VI express softmotion.

  It works fine except when I force the engine to stall, a strange thing.

  When I take the engine yet it will suddenly reverse direction rotates at a speed faster than the requested speed rear forward.

  The faults of the ADK out but it takes 100 to 400 ms to turn off the power.

  The AKD displays F 503 and Labview indicates an error code 6A 3130.  This resulted in "phase failure AKD.

  Relavent part of this error is: "the excessive power single-phase connection load".

  Of course I am inducing power over load so expect this fault, but the reverse rotation before the AKD Cup feeding is strange.

  I tried to reproduce this using the Kollmorgen Workbench software, but so far it only happens when Labview is controlling via EtherCAT.

  Taking the engine beyond normal limits of operation may cause unexpected behavior. It is never recommended to intentionally block the engine. In this case, it seems that LabVIEW is trying to remove the constraints inherent in the system in the case of a stall by reversing the motor. The reason why you do not see this behavior in the Workbench is because it does not contain the control algorithms that are present in LabVIEW. In addition, I am curious about how to determine the time the motor runs in reverse; 100-400 ms seems very specific. If the pitch of the engine is possible in your code, I need to program under a security to handle this situation and perform all measures requires your application in the case of a stall.

  I am currently (trying) to design a control of a servomotor system.

  I use a cRIO 9082, NI 9514 C-module, a servo-drive Kollmorgen AKD and a Kollmorgen servo.

  My main goal is to make the engine during continuous running + 15 deg to-15 degrees and with varying frequencies.

  I checked my system using the 'straight axis' operation - example, that comes with LabVIEW.

  How do I start making a model more sophisticated movement?

  I modeled the DC motor in MatLAB using PID control. I can do something similar in LabVIEW?

  See the image as an attachment to the model of behavior, that I want to accomplish.

  You will need to use the NI Control Design and Simulation module to perform the simulation and model of different systems.

  If you install this kit there are a good example called "DC speed control Cascade" engine that can show you how to model the motor and continuous control (both speed and current ". There are also examples of servo control.

  I uninstalled Little Snitch, I have ESET Antivirus (start-up and shutdown has no effect), I have iStat (no impact)

  I have admin authority.

  I checked my certificate in Keychain Access-> system - some Apple certificates had expired, but do not know how to renew. Set it to accept anyway.  I can turn that back.

  Messages, Contacts, Mail, calendar, Facetime, iCloud.com - all work fine.

  There are other users of this system - they have no problem to accede to these requests with the same AppleID.

  I have exactly the same problem and I can check that if I create a new user on my MBP (current model of 15 "), I am able to use my Icloud account once again, but not under my main user. Thus, each suggestion found in the forums here:

  • Step 2 review the deactivation
  • Config of Flushing DNS or try another DNS server
  • Uninstalling an Antivirus snake oil product, I do not use

  did not help at all. But there must be something with my user account, the system itself seems to be fine as a new user account works with the same icloud account.

  This can happen now reasons:

Break on Sub _NSWarnForDrawingImageWithNoCurrentContext() to debug.  This will be recorded only once.  This may change in the future.

  Next steps for me will be

  • hoping someone here has an idea, so I don't have to wast hours for this
  • try to restore a backup time new machine to a new user account (would be less work) - but this option I think that will lead to problems again. I'll let you know if it is a possible way to solve the problem.
  • From a user account from scratch and selectively import settings - there is no alternative option that takes time. Usually, this is not necessary and one of the reasons why I use a mac - only not to reinstall Windows every 3 months...

• Unable connect to the iMessage - and no error message

  iMess on my computer stopped working the other day. Similar stuff has been examined in other threads, but my problem is a little different, since I get no error message. iMess wants connect me, and when I enter my details, nothing happens: I support on connect, then the system seems to think for a second, and then he wants me to support again connect as I never have. It does not say that my password is wrong or anything, separates me from other threads.

  I thought that perhaps Little Snitch had something to do with it (even though I made no change to the it for a long time). So I temporarily stopped, but no luck. It reveals the process of akd comes into contact with gsa.apple.com, so at least my part of this communication seems OK.

• Does anyone have a pinout for the UMI OR AKD Drive Cable?

  I make a motion controller with an NI 7350 card with evasion NI UMI-7774.  I connect to the UMI-7774 to a drive Kollmorgan AKD with UMI OR AKD drive cable.  This cable has a terminal of 20 pin block which I believe includes the home and limit switch signals, but I don't have a pinout of the UMI to AKD drive cable to verify this.  Anyone know where I can get this pinout?

  I'm again using LabVIEW afairly... I have only the subset of basic skills so far.  So I would respectfully when you reply to a catchall as possible please.  In fact, a sample project with a lot of explanation would be absolutely fantastic.

  Essentially, I have a Kollmorgan AKD motor controller device (more precisely the model AKD - 00306-x) which controls a servo controller.  It uses the TELNET Protocol, among other things, to communicate with him.  So far, I was able to use the TELNET of MS and Kollmorgans workbench service to communicate with the device with great success.  Although the workshop of Kollmorgan is a good program, I am looking for more precise control.

  Here's the question:

  What is the best method of sending the commands mulitple like that of the TELNET Protocol (to where I can enter a command, have the Kollmorgan run, enter another command, run,... multiple iterations this... with out disconnecting)?  In other words, I want to be able to enter a few commands, one at a time, and the Kollmorgan executes each command after each time that the key has been affected (with them having to restart the application... because of the disconnection).  So far, I've implemented a while loop (without success) and one for the loops (with no success).

  With the involvement of a loop, I can send a command and carry out very well... the connection becomes just disturbed/disconnected.  My working model of the program, out of the loop is attached.  You will find that it does what an execution (using the "run once").  If you use the button "Continuous run", the buffer is literally invaded (which probably you know).

  You have 2 problems:

  1. Do not connect a value to the N of a loop terminal for and auto-index at the same time. One or the other. In your case, you're automatic indexing. Remove the 9 constant.
  
  
  2. Your strings are not correct. If you want to enter special characters such as newline and carriage returns, your string must be in '-' display mode. Otherwise get them interpreted exactly as you enter them. You send your channel, then the character "-" and the character "n". This is not the same thing as the newline character. Right-click on the string element, and then select this mode on the shortcut menu. You will see there are two characters "\" before the "n" and the characters 'r '. Change all the double-backslashes to those unique.

The good news is that these steps will be useful for your problem of phone calls while using the bluetooth in your car.   Not sure what you mean by "display port"...  The dock connector of the original iPod (2001) is a FireWire port.  You really have an original 1st gen iPod, with a (not key or click) scroll wheel that physically turns a circle?  Looks like this

  

  If so, it can connect to a computer equipped with a FireWire port .  To do this, not to connect to a USB port.  There are "scam" products that claim to be a USB-to-FireWire adapter cable, but they don't work; they can even cause damage to the iPod if used.  FireWire and USB work very differently (and even use different power supply voltages); You cannot connect them just by changing the shape of the connector.

  If your computer is a Mac (no FireWire port) with a Thunderbolt port, Apple sells a Thunderbolt-to-FireWire adapter.  On a Windows PC, to connect to the 1st (or 2nd) gen iPod, you add an expansion card of a certain type that provides an actual FireWire interface.  For more details, please provide more information on your situation.

• iPhone 7 - 10.0.2 - would not connect to wifi - got hot - DEATH

  I have an iphone brand new 7 (black) who has not seen a bump, the knock, the drop of water, or frankly anything that could damage it - always used with Chargers apple and cables only. I came home one day and noticed that my wifi woulndt connect. He would not even see the networks. The phone started to get hot and the battery percentage began to collapse, down 80% to 0% in about 15 minutes.

  When I tried to reconnect to the power, it will not even turn on, nothing, no display showing load or anything like that. Just completely dead.

  Ive owned every single iphone (except some S models) and have never had this happen. In fact, I could plug in my iphone 3gs right now and I'd be willing to bet $100 it load up and turn right into. Im just stunned, having given apple credit both for making bulletproof devices for years.

  What's the deal? anyone else having this problem? Ive looked online and I can't find anything. I have a genius appt tomorrow and Im prayer I can get a replacement same day. I have applecare +.

  If there is something wrong with the device, Apple should replace it. However, they have the final call, and no one here can say exactly what they will do. Given the age of the unit, I suspect that you won't have problems getting a replacement. They should have stock for replacements. I wouldn't worry.
