Connection to the base CF10 BLOCKED? -JDBCPool.checkOut / checkIn

I continue to troublshoot 503 issues with my new server.  Recently, I have activated the function of Snapshot dump inside the monitor server and whenever I have a Server alert is unresponsive and I see tons of these in the snapshot.  Anyone know what this means exactly?

The questions I'm going to sound very similar to what is happening here and here , but so far I have come to no conclusion.  WTH is happening?

I have a brand new 64-bit Win2008/IIS7 machine (Finally, VMware if she makes all diff) running with the latest update patch 12 CF10, etc..  I even updated the JRE to the latest version (1.7.0_45 at the time of this writing).  I did the whole thing Tomcat connector, put several times with pool sizes higher, waiting times, etc., reinstalled the connector several times (the last being when I updated to CF10 Update 12).  The JVM is perfectly configured.  I tried settings of CARL nothing helps.  Ta'anit of the Adobe Support has helped me, too and Bureau sessions remotely and seen my server and explains all the settings look good, so he is somehow at a loss too except to analyse my logs whenever I send them, but I don't get any concrete data which I think will help still , because I know very well what to look for in general.  I did the CF for 16 years and never faced with a persistent problem.

Hi all.  My problem is finally solved with changes to our configuration of network cabling.  Here is the report of my IT team explaining exactly what they were doing:

------------

We have done some updates at the same time which may have contributed to the current stability. Although the upgrade of the Oracle and the kernel upgrade / patch may have been factors, we believe that the network port was the main culprit.

The way that the network has been configured previously, each server has access to the network through a different switch, which were in turn connected by other devices. The database server stores data on the cluster storage, mapped via NFS.  By moving the network port of the server database to the same switch as the storage of cluster users, we have eliminated the material and extra hops.   Speeds for the database server has increased, and we stopped see timeouts to occur.

Before change:

webserver-> Switch1-> Switch2-> Switch3-> server database->-> Switch4 Switch3-> 5-> storage-> 5-> server database->->-> Switch1 Switch2 Switch3-> web server->-> Switch3 Switch4

After change:

->->-> Switch3 Switch2 Switch1 Web server-> server database-> Switch3-> storage-> Switch3-> database-> Switch3 Server->-> Switch1 Switch2-> web server

------------

I guess the moral of the story here is to check your network breaks if someone knows this kind of wait for ColdFusion/datdabase and have no idea where they come from.

P.S. Big props for Anit for helping me troublshoot all other possibilities before I he handed IT to the team with the conclusion "is not ColdFusion!  Adobe support has been EXCELLENT.

  • 11i/R12 connection at the base of the machine during the Installation of VMWare host.

    Hello people,

I installed 11i and R12 on VMWare. My host in Windows XP operating system.

    11i details-
    VMWare/Guest OS - Windows XP
    Version - 11.5.10.2

    R12 Details-
VMWare/Guest OS - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3
    Version - 12.1.1

Everything works fine on the VMWare OS application and database (sqlplus).

The problem is that I am not able to connect to the data base (11i/R12) from the host machine. I am successfully able to run the application from the host machine after you put the entry in the file "hosts".

To connect to the database, I have installed the Oracle 9i on the host machine client and put the entry in the TNSNAMES file. ORA generated by 11i/R12, but even in doing so I am not able to connect to the database.

Is there a way I can connect to the database (installed on VMWARE) of the HOST Machine.

I've seen a single installation on VMWARE, where we are able to connect to the database from the HOST machine.

  • ADF is required to use the tools to connect to the base?

ADF is required to use the tools to connect to the JDeveloper database? I am working on a project and we cannot use the ADF for this particular application.

When you drag-and-drop database connections, don't JDeveloper automatically insert the code of the ADF in your project to execute these database connections?
Database objects, not database connections can be added. Please see
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E18941_01/tutorials/jdtut_11r2_84/jdtut_11r2_84.html

Code of the ADF is not added when database objects are added.

    Hello

I guess that the problem lies in your DSN. What you can try is: go to the control panel? Administration-> Data Source (ODBC) tool: you will see a dialogue click on the button Add User DSN. Select the appropriate driver, and then click Next. Then name of Dataconnection, specify the server, give the user id password and specify the name of the data source and then click Test connection. If the State ok, then go to DataView Pallete in the LC and then right-click on the name of DataConnection, and then select Properties. Then in the connection string, click the build. Then select the name of the Data Source and in the drop-down list, you should see the DSN that you created. Try this, there is more than a few steps. If you get success then please let me know. I'll talk about further steps.

    Thank you.

  • Connection to the base tells me file not found...?

I just installed Dreamweaver CS3 and I'm moving from classic ASP to ASP.NET. I have an Access database that I work with and I am able to set up a connection to the database successfully. The test button shows successful and I can also create a recordset through DW links Panel. I create a SQL, I have test and I see the data correct, returned in the test on the display window. Everything looks great.

Then I simply remove the Recordset values in a table on the page and press F12 to preview in the browser. I get the following error:

Any information on what is happening here and how I can solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. Not having is not a very good start to my transition to .NET. :(

  • Form and the connection to the base

    Hello

I have downlaoded the sample forms provided by the Oracle OTN site.

In accordance with the instructions, I installed all the sample forms.

When I click on the lookup form application, it opens the application successfully... and works fine...

My Question is: where are the details of the connection of database USER provided to these forms?

Rightly, it connects to the Oracle database, but I'll try to understand the user that the form allows you to connect to the database? Because there are 2 users
OE and OE8 who have the database table 'warehouses '...

How can I know that through what db user makes the form to connect? OE. Warehouser GOLD oe8.warehouses? When I click on the link below...

    "/ forms/frmservlet. config = reusable_picklist.

    Thanks advanced

  • Unable to set up the connection to the base

    Hello

I install Siebel Enterprise Server in a self-study environment. I'm following the Siebel IP 2015 online documentation (Siebel Innovation Pack 2015: installation of the Siebel database) and I can't get through the database Configuration Wizard.

    1. I created the installation Image for Siebel Enterprise Server using the Siebel IP 2015 out Oracle e-Delivery and installed HER.
    2. The next step is to run the database Configuration Wizard. I ran and he asked me to run grantusr.sql on the database.
    3. I ran grantusr.sql on my (installed on the same server) Oracle XE database under the account 'system '.
    4. He then asked me to specify the DSN name for the Oracle database, so I created a DSN on the same server (SIebel_DSN).
    5. For Siebel_DSN, I specified "localhost:1521 / xe ' such as TSN, sadmin as the user (I manually put his password because grantusr.sql does not define a password).
    6. I tested the DSN and he says 'successful connection '.
    7. I went back the database Configuration Wizard and click Next on the page "enter DSN.
    8. It then asks me to enter the database username and password. Then I entered the sadmin user name and the password for it (which was successfully tested on the DSN screen), and I get an error saying that the login/password is not valid.

I did something wrong? I'm supposed to enter "sadmin" at this stage? I tried to enter the 'system' name of user and password I used to run the grantusr.sql script, which doesn't work either.

Edit: Before anyone says that I should not use Oracle Database Express Edition with Siebel Enterprise Server, I just tried the new with Oracle Database Enterprise Edition (installed on a separate server). I installed the Client for the same version of the database on the Siebel server and again, I'm not be able to authenticate through the database Configuration Wizard. I can authenticate through the DSN Configuration window and I can connect using Oracle SQL Developer (from the Siebel server but not the DB Conf Wiz.)

    Any help would be great!

    -Mo

I found out what it was, I was using the 64-bit client for the database and database oracle 12 c, which are not supported by Siebel 2015. I tried everything, again with the Oracle 11 g (32-bit) database client, pointed to an Oracle Database 11g Server (64-bit) and the DSN test worked fine.

    Thank you

    Ryan

I ended up working with Oracle Support, that had me do some things... I also did a thing on my own and with these changes, I am able to connect now.  If it does not please let me know... I tried a few other things that I don't think had no effect.

    (1) removed the Environment Variable "PS_SERVER_CFG" - I found in a document oracle that this could cause problems.  I have not set this manually, but Oracle says it is used to run data mover or SQR scripts outside of the process scheduler.  It must have been added as part of the installation so I'll add it again later.  This change did put a slight change to error messages, so it have some effect, but does not solve everything.

    (2) with the upgrade of 8.53 8.54 I had to add a 32-bit ODBC user DSN.  Even if change assistant 8.54 uses 64-bit, it seems that 8.53 connections are still serving who connects via ODBC 32-bit.

    (3) make sure that the paths configured in the wizard to change are not UNC, if they are matched with a drive and configure using readers.

    Good luck.

  • connection to the base of a transformation script?

    Hello

For a specific purpose, I think of a custom transformation script that would SELECT data from an oracle database. I experimented a bit with mozilla rhino (outside data Modeler), but I could not import the necessary java packages into a javascript program, no matter how to set the classpath to invocation. Then I started to wonder if it wouldn't be possible at all inside the Data Modeler. So I ask here: is it possible to connect to oracle from a custom transformation script and if yes, then what is the method?
