  Stupid Vista goes to 50% CPU usage and connects the computer for hours after the start.  Cannot run anything with any request of CPU without getting bogged down and crashing.  It is not windows defender, I suspend this service and the machine is ok for another 1/2 hour, them I'm up to 50% of the CPU.  The idle process said Task Manager is > 90%, still indicates 50% CPU usage and the cooling fan looks like a 747 taking off.  Should I just pull the machine and go for Linux, or what?  Cannot run games or whatever it is, totally disgusted with vista of POS and microsoft can it Deep and do not get windows 7, it is probably worse.  Is that all I can turn off to get the same performance than, say, windows 3.1?  It would be preferable to the current situation.  MSCKMA.

  I have a connection problem to EBS page, if only one responsibility is active for user it will get error Page cannot be displayed error 404 on the main Menu.
  However, if 2 or more responsibilities are active no error will appear and it will show all the responsibilities.

• Get a variable name for a connected user

  My application displays dynamic elements based on the value of a variable userid i.e. If userid is 1, all the items in my collection of table with 1 user ID will be displayed in a tilelist component.

  What I want to do, is to have a log in the system which will connect users but also to get the ID for this specific user and set it as my userid variable in my application, so the app knows what the user is connected and can display information related to that user.

  My mysql table that stores all users has the columns user ID (the value I want which is specific to each user) user name and password.

  I've been using this tutorial that lets the user open a session and if the connection is successful, a message is displayed, but this solution does not have the application store that the user is connected through userid: -.

  Example, I need to inform users to quit smoking in 5 minutes due to a restart of the application server.
  
  I thought about a timer trigger that will check every 5 seconds or 10 seconds one value in a table somewhere. But I don't want to use the timer associated with forms of oracle triggers.

  Because view 4.5, users on my Wyse P20 zero with Windows 7, customers become cut off after exactly 10 hours to be connected with the message "End of Session or broker". It's a new Pool of offices in sight, but Idont see any place in the pool settings to set an expiry date of connection... When this setting might be coming from? Users in my XP pool (that existed before 4.5) do not have this issue.

  It would be possible with trigger + connection event at the DB level.
  Make sure that the user and the time if allow you it, proceed with other session trigger the application error - he'll get session have left.

  You can use the MAXL commands to manage sessions user below.

  See the entire session on the server.
  MAXL > display session.

  See the entire session on the specific application.
  MAXL > show session on request >;

  To kill a perticular session request
  MAXL > change request to kill system >;

  To kill a perticular user demand
  MAXL > change request kill system by user >;

  To kill the query of a perticular application
  MAXL > change request kill system on request >;

  Kill all queries on the server
  MAXL > alter the system asks to kill all them.

  I cannot approach the construction of an application that detects recorded for more than 24 hours, this table is updated all hours to show who is logged in and where - I want to know if a person has been registered for more than 24 hours - if so, who and where. It's hard for me because I need to compare each recorded for each connection of the user and then see if the following entry is more than 24 hours after the previous entry.
  
  A table contains the connection times and places in the position_hist table:
  POSITION_ID, username, upd_date.
  
  Something like;
  Select position_id, userid, position_hist upd_date where (select upd_date in position_hist where "the following entry for this user and this position is more than 24 hours?"
  
  I guess the easier is to look for a given position_id recorded for more than 24 hours at a time.

  I used the LAG, which, by default, without arguments, will retrieve the previous record based on PARTITION BY, and ORDER BY clauses. So in this case the UPD_DATE - LAG() calculated the difference between the current value of the UPD_DATE and PREVIOUS UPD_DATE value. By default, this is in units of days. That's why in the OUTER query, I have a "> 1" which is the same thing that say more than 24 hours.
