  We have had this problem several times. In our case the support VMware clearly had us on inventory data that vCD maintains in its database as it gets vcenter. It seems that this may become corrupted or out of sync but by turning off the tables in the database force a re-synchronization complete. vCD uses these inventory information to create a REST API query to get the sticker in vCenter.

• vCloud connector 2.5 - copy the model of vSphere to vCloud Director fails

  Hi all

  I'm trying to make a copy of the model of the private Cloud for vSphere (e.g. my instance of vCenter lab) the vCloud Director private cloud (my instance vCD lab, which is deployed and registered with the same instance of vCenter mentioned above) with vCloud connector 2.5.

  I have deployed the server component of vCC, configured and deployed two nodes of vCC - a to connect to vCenter for private cloud config vSphere and another to connect to the vCloud Director org for the basic cloud vCD config private. Moreover, the vCloud Director is registered to the same instance of vCenter which is used for vSphere cloud.

  I then tried to open a copy of the model from the vSphere cloud node to the node of vCD. The task to export the OVF template will start, and the task of SCR plugin will also display the copy task. This vCD instance also model any TIME if you go to the properties of the VDC organization selected during the SCR copy Wizard.

  After about 18%, the percentage remains stuck there for a little bit before the 'Export OVF Template"task fails with"Operation timed out ". After that, the task indicated in the vCC plugin will fail also later with (OVF Export failed. Null message) and the import of VAPP model in vCD job will fail also - VAPP failure will take upward of space inside the affected storage however profile until I have manually remove the failing through vCD VAPP model object.

  Anyone else having this problem? I've seen this problem on both environments so far: vCenter 5.1 update 1 with vCD 5.1.2 and vCenter 5.5 with vCD 5.5. If the problem seems to be specific to the version of vSphere. The logs generated by server SCR bee all that useful for me to understand what went wrong did not.

• Console VSphere performs hurt

  I'm running ESX 4.1 and have VMWare tools installed in the virtual machine.  I see poor performance on some of my vm when I discover the console (2003 R2 and 2008 R2).    The mouse is gittery.  I have hardware acceleration the max value.

  Could not launch a console vsphere client vsphere 5.1/5.5.  Error "unable to connect to the mks: unable to connect to the server XXXXX:902.  It's a new job that I try to run it on and I turned off the firewall and checked the availability of port 902 and 903, so I am at a loss as to why it does not work.  Also have had problems with this work station and connections to get help from the stand-alone converter program.  Not sure if there is an overlap in the ports or features that may result from the same question.

  I was wondering if someone on the front,

  I plugged an ssd on a server that had a store of data of an another ESX (same version, same hardware)

  He had a vm, I added to the inventory and it turned on

  everything is fine except that I can't open the console, vsphere client, I get the error: "unable to connect to MKS: internal error.

  and vcenter I get: "failed to initialize the ssl on the remote host session.

  I have installed several virtual machines in the same data store and they worked normally

  ESX is version 6

  any ideas?

  Hello, I am trying to understand the best way to get the UUID vCenter for VIM vCloud object (in my case a resource pool, for which I have the MoRef) to identify the corresponding object of vCenter.   I want to use a given resource pool reference (Playback a pvDC) to find the purpose of grouping of real resources in vCenter, many vCenters recorded vCO/VCD since the MoRef is not unique between vCenters.  There is an article by William Lam (http://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2012/02/uniquely-identifying-virtual-machines-in-vsphere-and-vcloud-part-1-overview.html) that describes the relationships, but an example to solve this with vCO would be appreciated.

  To uniquely identify a virtual machine or any object in an instance of vCloud Director (several cells), at least in VCD 1.5, you must use its ID (format URN)

  for example urn: vcloud:vm:71d5b81a-f82d-495a-9e58-4b95a645c841

  If you need identify different vCloud Director forums, you can always use the same ID, but you'll want to capture the href that includes the host name of the VCD instance and if you break the href you will see that it includes the ID of the object as well.

  HI, I'm new to PowerCli scritping and need a deployment script simple that I can use to deploy VMS 5-10 at a time. This is a Dev Environment and the servers will be removed and redeployed each month after coding.

  I have a model that has the configured network and wonder how to automate the deployment instead of right-clicking on it since my console VSphere. What I want the model pre-configured with details of networking or a script that put in? one is fine. I want to run the deployment script to a virtual machine or from the server that is installed on VSphere?

  As I mentioned, I am very new to this, so if you can dummy it upwards as far as possible that would be great!

  You cannot add a new empty virtual machine in a paralytic.

  Instead, you can add a virtual machine from an existing vapp, vapptemplate.

  I assume you mean the domain the host's FULL name. If Yes, go to the tab "Configuration" of the host and select 'and DNS routing '. There, you'll be able to change the FULL domain name.

  Mira, as someone can delete o no una VM don't con the option "remove disc" depende permissions as tenga said user might.  For example el usuario con podrá clear sin problemas en cambio, una VM administrator rol a usuario con permissions to read only no podrá hacer mucho in el vSphere Client, mucho menos una VM clear.  vCenter Server viene con varios roles por defecto (a host ESX/ESXi viene con 3 roles por defecto only) there are posible crear roles health con permissions as requieras (tanto en vCenter como Los hosts).  Este sentido mi mid-week are perform a buen perfilamiento users than tienen acceso an ambiente you VMware y asi evitaras Malo ratos.

  Respecto a reclaiming of VMs, como alternativa a VCB vCenter Server 4.x viene con a virtual appliance adicional llamado Data Recovery, el cual is available in vCenter Server from the Essentials most edición en.
