Constant crash on export

Premiere Pro 2015 crashes when you export a video to 4 minutes of my iMac.  I tried to export directly from PP and Media Encoder... both crash.   Both tried export H264 and Pro Res, stop working.  All sources are 29.97 1080 p or still images (photographs).

Here are the specs as they exist today;

1080 p

29.97 FPS

Intel Core i5 to 3.4 GHz processor

32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775 M 2048 MB

I did have a problem until now.  I've recently upgraded to El Capitan and wonder if this is the reason.  After my research, however, earlier problems had been fixed... maybe not.

Help!

There might be something wrong with the preview files or hide media or the project file for this image/clip.

That's why I suggested the test by simply unplugging this element, bringing the clips spent it down to touch the precedents and export again. IF it exports fine, then... this clip is the problem.

Most often the "problem" with a clip is in the PrPro data on the clip... say, delete preview files and cache often solves the problem. Sometimes just turn off all effects and redo for this clip works a charm.

  • Crash on export

Well, it is a frustrating day.

I have the last CC of Lightroom, I think it is 6.6.1 operating on El Capitan 10.11.6.  iMac 5 k.  Most of my photos and my library/catalog is on TB2 external drive of Gtech TB 8.  I upgraded the RAM through 16 GB to 64 GB OWC

I tried to export 81 photos of LR.  For the last 2 days.

Before this started, I had no problem.  Same process, same computer.  I could export until the cows come home home.  I did the update CC 6.6.1 thinking that might solve some bugs.  But it does not.

That's what I know so far:

    * I can be in LR, and it doesn't crash.  Mainly just when I export and about half way through.

    * When it crash, mouse is black screen, does not respond for a second, then the error text white on black rebooting screen and iMac to the login window.

    * The last time I had console upward as the accident happened and the Console crashed everything first.

    * I did the repair disc on HD and external hard drive.  (no error reported on the HD, it seemed to fix something on the external, or it just took awhile)

    * What happens if I start with TB disk attached or not.

    * Yesterday (before the LR CC update to the current version), the iMac was sleeping on a black screen which would then become insensitive in LR (or creation).  Apple Genius looked through the code and cannot find whatever it is immediate, and it doesn't seem to happen when it is NOT connected to an external drive.

    * I changed the cables of TB, I unchecked "put hard drives to sleep" and the black sleep does not seem to happen now, but it always crashes on export.

Someone knows something like that?  My next step will be to try to use another computer and see if it does the same thing when I load to the top of this library and the hard drive.

    Thank you...

dj_paige after you isolate the problem to this computer with this RAM and read some other forums for a similar problem, seemed like the only logical problem was the OWC RAM.  I used the application called Rember to test all together and individually, and after hours and hours and days seems them 2 16 GB OWC sticks were bad.  They sent and 2 replacements.  After graduating from the successful with two pieces of RAM testing, I kept those and refer others.

Downside is that it kept crashing and losing days of my time.  Upside is is not in the software and I can export until the cows come home House now...

  • What can I do to stop Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 crashing when exporting?

Without worrying about whether I have a new project file or an existing one, changes or no retouching, whenever I click on export, Premiere Pro simply crashes.  Same for Media Encoder - cannot open this same one.  I have all the latest updates installed cs6, the computer is new for two weeks - OSX 10.9.1, NVIDIA GeForce GT 1024Mo of 650 M.  The only way I've been able to export is through a back door: I use the dynamic link in After Effects and then returned to my sequences it.  Help?

  • First Pro CC crashes when exporting h.264

I have shot some footage in AVCHD using a panasonic hmc80, edited two sequences in the same project, a short about 8 minutes, which I exported to the fine H.264 format and a second in 36 minutes that crashes when exporting h.264, exporting to approximately 8 to 10 Mbit / s.  I have tried mpeg2 and exported correctly.  I updated from the first and windows and checked drivers such as Nvidia, all of this to date.  I use a matrox mxo2 as an e/s has no MAXIMUM.  Same Setup worked well with first cs6 for about six months without any problem. It is a windows system 8 I7 with 4 disks in raid zero for media and a separate player previews and export.  I also tried the FLV and it also crashed.

The error message Windows "Adobe Premiere Pro CC has stopped working" collects more information about the problem.  I press cancel on the error of the box and first stop.  In fact the same thing happened once while I was sitting right on the timeline, take a break, he did the same thing and stopped, I was not made or export or do anything.  I have closed all the programs, including my anti virus software to make sure that wasn't the problem, but kept stopping.  I used to do some audio adjustments on a few clips I've done in the past with CS6 hearing...

I tried to open the project in CS6 but received a message that the project is damaged and cannot be opened. However, the project opens and plays fine CC where I created it originally. I have inspected the timeline and made the small part of locations that it stops the function of percentage completed without problem.  He stopped at 20 percent, 55 percent and 60 to 70 percent several times.Screen shot.jpg

Finally found the problem.  Hope this helps other casual users like me.  Originally when I started editing I dissociated video audio to audio specific modifications. It's a game of the game session only and talking heads were not in on it.  Once I finished editing I've linked audio video back together.  After I inspected carefully the timeline by zooming in to check every edit I was out of sync on one of my edits and he had a red - 4 video and a + 4 more on audio right on the clips.  After having to separate the tracks again that the red numbers went away and of course had an export successful h.264 after at least a dozen crashes.     What is funny about this is I had an export successful with mpeg2 after continuous h.264 and flv hangs until this fix.

  • Adobe first/Media Encoder CC Crash when exporting video for ~ 25 min (Mac)

    Specifications of the laptop:

OS X Version of El Capitan 10.11.4

2.5 GHz Intel Core i7 processor

    16 GB memory

Iris Pro 1536 Intel graphics card

    Problem:

Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder CC constantly crash when I try to export the sequence of a project which is roughly ~ 25 minutes in length, H.264.

The effects are used throughout the project, but only the base dissolves and black-and-white/contrast effects. Images comes from several sources, but all of the same mp4 file and type frame rates. There are also several PNG files in the Assembly, including the one I used to "frame" the movie to make it look more like images from other sources. Yet once, nothing complicated, not even a long dissolve (dissolved all is literally 2/24 frames in length).

Split the video into sections and exporting separately are no problem, even when comparing a relatively short section of 4 minutes for a much bigger and more focused on the effects of section 11 minutes. Needless to say, I really, really, really prefer does not export this video into sections. The intended destination is youtube, and I just want everything in an own mp4, not two 12-minute videos.

After some digging, I found similar problems reported on these and others and was especially deplore the possibility that my power supply is not large enough to cope, but it's still very confused. My MacBook is not 'stop', and as far as I could see, the Iris Intel Pro should have been sufficient even without a graph 5100 graphics adapter Pro 5200 or; as in the past I've already exported MUCH larger files, ranging from 35 to 85 minutes.

solved by downloading latest driver for Nvidia CUDA for Mac - really just a problem with the Mercury playback engine. Guess OpenCL was not simply cut to get the type of work I was doing.

Here is a convenient link to the latest CUDA for Mac drivers for all who encounter similar problems with export in Adobe Premiere Pro Media Encoder CC or CC: drivers CUDA for MAC Archive | NVIDIA

  • The Premier Pro 2015 crashing on export

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro (chart below) under OS X 10.11.2 (El Capitan).

    Model name: MacBook Pro

    Model identifier: MacBookPro11, 3

    Processor name: Intel Core i7

    Processor speed: 2.5 GHz

    Number of processors: 1

    Total number of Cores: 4

(By heart) L2 Cache: 256 KB

    L3 Cache: 6 MB

    Memory: 16 GB

    Boot ROM version: MBP112.0138.B16

Version of the SCM (System): 2.19f12

I tried to export a Premier Pro short (less), either on the pre-series HD or you-tube, which takes about 2 hours (seems excessive even if some parts of the video have several effects on it).  He gets almost all to the way of when there about 4 minutes to go (about 96% or almost thanks to export) the software crashes and I get the standard error message, "Premier Pro has met a serious error..." "and the closure of the software.  I tried this about 6 times and I am very frustrated.  I managed to export the exact same movie a couple of days, as a lower resolution file, so I'm a little confused about why this happens.  I deleted on more than 100 GB of my HD in case the problem was the lack of space, as well as on the external hard drive I was using as my work drive.

I have managed to export different films and more time in the past, with the same settings and much faster, but maybe with less effect on the clips.

I tried to export a clip different 30 sec short with the same parameters, which has been a success, but when checking the same activity monitor on the export of this little clip, CPU utilization for the Premier Pro has increased approximately 780% (I understand that it's okay?) and User CPU load approximately 95% and CPU system around 4%, so almost all in use.  The 16 GB memory available, that 11 GB of memory is used, with 4 GB of cache files - this maybe is the problem?  What I have to delete the cache and how do I get rid of these hidden files?

I also tried to update the first pro and making sure that all my read/write permissions were right on records of Adobe, but none of them helped.

    Any suggestions much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Adrienne
