  Hi all
  
  does anyone know how to avoid the factual constraint when you create a report with two filters on different dimensions?
  
  I have a fact table big with more than 10 million lines. In the starmodel is the customer of the dimension and the products. I create a filter on the customer atrribute 'Status' and set to 'active '. Now I add the "Product Type" column of the dimension 'Product' in the filter section. When I want to choose a value OBIEE executes a select statement in the fact table. So I have to wait very long to select a value. Is it possible to say OBIEE only to select the dimension table without joining the fact table?

  Use is implied.

  Create a table of facts of the DUMMY and make also implied made for this dimension column. It will solve the problem.

• Cannot change the width of the frame using the toolbar

  I'm suddenly having the strangest problem.

  Usually, I put the height and the width of the frames by typing in the values that I want in the upper left corner of the toolbar.

  

  I am suddenly unable to change the width of the frames. Height is fine. But when I type in the new value for the width and press ENTER, nothing happens to the selected image.

  Height works always normally, with or without "constrain proportions" on.

  Your table is set to 100%, but the body and html have dimensions, so the table is unclear what means 100%.

  Try this:

• How can I resize a picture frame but constrain the proportions of the image?

  Previously I resize the frame by typing in the exact dimensions, I need and then right-click on the image / montage / fill frame proportionally but things seems to have changed since I've updated Muse this morning at Muse with Responsive Web Design.  The images all becomes tense when I resize the image.  I can hold the CTRL key when resizing the image, which works, but I can't manually enter dimensions using this method.  My apologies if I'm missing what is obvious.  Thank you very much.

  By default, Muse resizes the image and the image. However, you can control this behavior by selecting the cropping tool in the Toolbox. If you do this, then when you type the new values for the width or height that the dimensions of the frame will be changed. This is the behavior even if you use the tool of cropping on the item in Design view.

• How to set the width of the frame to export?

  Just installed first 12 items.  I'm trying to export a project to mpeg at a particular frame width.  However, in advanced options, it is not possible to change the frame width or height (only 720 x 480 with no option to change this).  Any ideas?

• FM7.2: Problems with frame anchored in the rotated table cell

  Hello O Experts,

  I am facing a nasty problem with FrameMaker 7.2 for Windows with frames embedded in rotated table cells. I was wondering if any of you have seen this problem and know how to solve.

  The problem is reproduced as follows:

  1 create a table.

  2. Add a small frame anchored "the point insertion" inside one of the cells.

  3. Add a line of text to the anchored frame.

  4 turn the cell by 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise.

  Up to step 3, the anchored frame and the line of text behave as expected. Can I choose both the frame and the text line, move and resize. In all cases, they are displayed correctly.

  After step 4, the following occurs:

  • The content of the anchored image appear or is badly distorted.
  • Is no longer, I can select or resize the anchored frame (if I try, FM acts irregularly and wildly moves the outline around the page).
  • I can choose is no longer the line of text in the frame.

  I enclose a file FM (created using integrated model "portrait" of FM) sample that illustrates the problem.

  If someone knows this problem and I hope a solution, I would greatly appreciate it if you'd share. Thank you very much!

  If you turn just the anchored frame itself and not the cell (content) then everything behaves. If you have lots of content for the anchored frame, then place a block of text in the anchored frame, use a suitable paratag in text and only turn the framework anchored (all content will follow along then).

  There are two long tables in my document, and I want to do is to get the collection of blocks of text that contain the second table to resize (single height),

• Expand the frame of a table

  OK guys, here's the problem:

  In the attached table, I have 3 rows in a sort of rectangle I created as the stroke of the brain (i.e., it is the only place in the table where you can see the vertical lines. The problem is that I need to extend the vertical straight line or running 3 lines of 1 mm. Numbers must not move, they line up perfectly. When I select the 3 lines and then start expading on the right, it does what I want, but to the entire table, not just the 3 rows (i.e. it extends the rules/features of the table). How can I do this?

  And I should mention that I used a container built to 1 mm to the left of these 3 lines. But it is delicate on the right. How to compensate for vertical parts of a cell?

  

  Add another column to the right and let it void, but STROKE the necessary cells appropritae edges?

  Sometimes it is easier to actually do not pet any cell at all, but rather to make narrow columns or rows and fill color for lines.

  Select the item.  Click the resize objects in the toolbar.  Choose the last of them, which shows a resizing in a speech bubble.  Now, a dialog box appears that allows you to set the height and width.

  For something of color, Shift right click to bring up the box tool.  Take the brush.  Click on the thing you want to change for example from the border.  It could now be the wrong color, do a right click so that brings up the color picker.  Now, select the color you want in fact.  If you want something to be transparent, choose the T in the upper right of the color dialog box.

• ID (CS6) reliable crashes when you move the point to the mount table

  To prepare a new version of a large document (220 pages letter, 350 patterns), I started to spend all the diagrams at the editing table. It worked well until at some point (say 40 pages or almost) ID crashed during this operation. After recovery I could go on for a few pages, but now I am in the situation that I can't go on more. Whenever I move a frame at the editing table, ID crashes.
