    Whenever I tried to make a purchase of app World, the sign of paypal continues to give me an error message saying a problem occurred and to contact app world, error: 3300. Any idea what could be the cause?

    Thank you!

    HI and welcome to the Forums!

    Please check your PayPal account - connect you in since a PC/browser and make sure that the credentials you use it are identical to those that allows you to connect to MyWorld.

    Also ensure that the credit card you have attached to PayPal is current and valid... we learned that if there is no credit card linked to your PayPal account which is not valid for some reason any (for example, expired), it will prevent the AppWorld purchases ended. In addition, there must be a (valid) credit card attached.

    As a last resort, some users have created new PayPal accounts and couldn't use it very well with AppWorld... we have no idea why this is happening.

    See you soon!

  • Person to contact with questions about the presentation of the app world

    If I have a question about the app that I submitted, anyone knows how do I contact someone about this? I can't find anything on the site and respond to notification emails gets me nowhere.

    Hey miss breeder,.

    that will be tough. If you browse the App World his hell out there because of the new development forums and people have a lot of problems with it. I've read people were emailing RIM all week and no responses were received. But if you post a question here MShom (one of the moderators) usually responds in a timely. The support email is [email protected] I believe. Good luck!

    You save the BB app world... This isn't what step 1 only. But the result you got is correct for step 1, so it's good. What steps 2 and 3 Please?

  • Point different information on App World, then in the settings

    I put the information on an application to display an e-mail and Web site for 'support point' but on the article its shows the default email from my account page.

    Who should I contact to update this?

    Contact the App World vendor Support using this form: https://www.blackberry.com/profile/?eventId=8109

  • the app world

    Why AppWorld does not show the latest version, even if it has been approved weeks ago?

    Did I miss a step?

    Kind regards

    The correct version shows the site of Web App World?

    If so, sometimes the cache of the client software App World can get 'stuck' - If you go to My World on your device, then

    Hold the ALT key

    Press R

    Then S

    Then T

    The customer should reboot and you should see the correct version of your application...

    If it does not then come into contact with the support of the seller:

    Good luck! :-)

  • Test App world license key

    My application is available for sale on the App World, it uses the dynamic licensing model.

    Here's how I understand licensing process works:

    1. the customer buys my app via BlackBerry App World and it downloads to their phone

    2. at the end of the server download RIM comes in contact with my license server, sending on the details of the customer

    3. my license server responds with a valid license key

    4 RIM then sends this license key on BlackBerry from the client and stores the key on the device

    5. when my app is running it reads the provided license key and validates them before allowing the application to run.

    Couple of questions about this:

    (1) is my understanding correct?

    (2) is it possible to test step 4 without having to buy the app each time?

    Thank you very much.

    No, I'm sorry, I don't have.  My first application was a "leap of faith, but I'm planning a backup mechanism where the user could manually type in key French - useful for App World buy too much."  I've never had to use it for a purchase of the App World.

    To help put your mind at rest, here is my code, I think you will find is the same as the function.

    Try to get the generated key App World
    Group CodeModuleGroup = null;
    CodeModuleGroup [] groupArray = CodeModuleGroup.loadAll ();
    String moduleName = ApplicationDescriptor.currentApplicationDescriptor () .getModuleName ();
    If (groupArray! = null) {}
    for (int i = 0; i)< grouparray.length;="" i++="" )="">
    If (groupArray [i] .containsModule (moduleName)) {}
    Group = groupArray [i];
    break;
    }
    }
    }
    String key = null;
    If (group! = null) {}
    key = group.getProperty ("RIM_APP_WORLD_LICENSE_KEY");
    If (key! = null & key.length () > 0) {}
    key = key.toUpperCase ();
    }
    }

  • BlackBerry App to app world carrier payment stopped.

    A few days ago that I made a purchase from app world as I always do with payment to the carrier, but this last time it cost all of my available credit and that was enough for the app I bought. Then I tried to buy another application, I rebooted my credit, but when I went to the app to pay he says that the payment method, I had is not available right now!
    I use prepaid number and there more cost of the application.
    How do I reactive payment by carrier again please help?

    You will need to contact your carrier to solve this problem. My carrier, Rogers, supports the payment of the carrier as well but for a few weeks, they stopped it and I had to use a credit card. After a few weeks, they started it upwards again, so maybe your carrier will do. As I said, you won't get any concrete answers here about that then give them a call to see what is happening because it's the carrier to support it or not, no BlackBerry.

    See you soon.

    No BBM service on the device... a quick search of the forums here would have told you, since you're "Great contributor", you need to know how to search the forums for others solved same issues you encounter.

    On your BlackBerry device, go to:

    1. on OS5 devices: Options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

    On OS6 devices: Options > device > advanced > host Routing Table
    2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

    Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service Books.From your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830North American carriers - scroll to select your carrier
    Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.

    Many thanks once again, JS.

    I tried again your suggestions and have discovered that Orange (my provider) was "interfering" and caused several gliches in my BlackBerry. I am in contact with them. one of them could be the fault you help me with.

    Can I come back to you once I deleted everything with Orange and, in the meantime, thank you for the considerable assistance that you gave me.

    If anyone can help? A new update of the BB App World was offered in December 2011, which I updated too, and ever since then I have not been able to connect to App World... The following error message "must an update of the BB identity would u like 2 install now then when I click Yes, it says Server BB contacts later he told u installation of identity BB could not please try again more later (80003)"... " My ISP can not help and could not care! They say they expect on BB and this isn't just my camera as I "BOLD" and my daughter has a curve... I've deleted App World 5 times and re-installed again that it does not work... Am rather fed up with BB...

    If you get the error 80003, there are three corrections suggested to the user:

    1. follow these instructions:
    First delete AppWorld on your Blackberry, (Options > Advanced > Applications)
    Then copy the entire address below and paste it into your BlackBerry browser or click on it from this page of your BlackBerry forum.
    http://Santo.Asia/repository/BB-file/BlackBerryAppWorld.3.0.1.29.OS5/appworld.jad
    or:

    For OS5 devices: http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2198

    2. make sure that you connect to AppWorld on a WiFi connection. It has worked for some.

    3. on Os5 BlackBerrys, go to Options, Advanced Options, TCP/IP. Select the AFN which is the first area. Under this
    Next type Internet APN. Save it and it will work.
    On the BlackBerry OS6 and 7, go to Options > device, down advanced system settings. Go to TCP IP. Select the first box and next to the AFN of type 'Internet '. Your BlackBerry ID will be downloaded. It will ask you to reboot your device, do, and if you then it in your App World > MyWorld, it invites you to a blue screen, where you need to connect.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not connect to App world via PC and Blackberry phone, someone knows how to fix this?

    Hello

    It's been 1 month that I used my app world via my phone last using the Wi - Fi connection to download an application. Last week, I try to download an application through my PC, but app world does not recognize my phone when I try to download. I ve tried solutions fix my phone not recognizable around the world of the app in the PC, but nothing happened. So, ive decided to connect to wireless again. But when I try to connect to the world of the app, it says that,

    "You are currently on a service plan that requires a Wi - Fi connection to use this application. If you want to use this application outside of a Wi - Fi connection, please contact your service provider to upgrade of data plan".

    Can someone help me or know this problem?

    Thank you. Hope someone can help me with this.

    Hello! Thanks for your reply. Ive has already know what is the cause of this issue but, initially, Im just using my BB Phone to connect to the world of the app and work with my solution. So here it is to connect to App world using BB Phone 1. Connect wifi 2. update your Blackberry ID and password on your phone, it is, I've just updated my Blackberry ID and password because I forgot to change my information on my phone. 2 months ago I change my ID and password to the web, so I think that the world of the application is unable to recognize my old identity. haha hope it helps others

  • BlackBerry smartphones please help with an app purchased on app world...

    Hello. I hope someone can help me. I bought an app (shazam yet) on the bb app world, I clicked on the price to pay and then entered my password 2 start the purchase and download. When it was supposed to start the download, it gave me an error of insufficient funds, while I had R160.83 on my account. When I checked my balance, I found this app world charged me to demand that I can not download. What can I do?

    Hello and welcome to the community!

    I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

    1. open the App World

    2. go to my world

    3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

    3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

    3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

    • KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World

    4 AppWorld must close.

    5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

    6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

    If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

    I hope that will allow you to download the application you paid for. If not, then you should contact your mobile provider (vodacom, according to your profile) for the resolution of this... they can have you degenerate into RIM so that records can be correctly verified. Please be aware that if the vodacom rep told you they can't help or that you must contact directly the RIM, then you need to ask their supervisor or hang up and call back. There is no way to contact you directly on RIM this... only can your cases via an escalation of your provider receive formal attention to RIM.

    Good luck and let us know!
