You save the BB app world... This isn't what step 1 only. But the result you got is correct for step 1, so it's good. What steps 2 and 3 Please?

  • BlackBerry smartphone Wi - fi doesn't work do not

I set up my wireless network, properly typed my wep password and it says that im fully connected to my home wi - fi but when I try to use the browser, blackberry appworld or any other application, it says that I am not connected. Ive tried WiFi to my school and he says the same thing. What should I do?

OK, a Telus phone should work on Rogers without problem, but the fact that you are not able to get a local IP address is certainly a problem.

Since you used the phone, it may simply be that the previous person may have "shrunk" the operating system and accidentally deleted an essential element. I don't know which is the case, but it is worth trying a reload of the OS, just to be sure.

To reload the operating system, use the method here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Device-software-for-BlackBerry/How-To-Reload-Your-Operating-S...

Now, there is a catch. Because your phone is originally a Telus phone, you'll want to use the Telus operating system (which is an older version of the OS), or you will need to remove a called Vendor.xml file located in the same folder as the Loader.exe file in step 2. Delete this file, and you can then run the Loader.exe file to reload the operating system.

Hopefully that will take care of the problem, but if not, let me know.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone App world icon is missing from my home screens and download

I've upgraded to Blackberry App World version 4.0.0.63 on my Blackberry Bold 9780 yesterday. After re-booting the phone, my App World icon was suddenly missing from my home screen. It was not on my download screen. I could also find when you do a search for App World. I reinstalled from the Blackberry App World site. I always had the same problem. Then a friend suggested I have uninstall App World of settings: device: application management: Blackberry App World - and selecting delete in Options. I did this - and then re-installed App World AGAIN on my phone from the Web site. And the problem still persists. Do I really have App World on my phone or not? If I have it on my phone, how and where can I find the icon - so I can place on my home screen.

See the article knowledge base on this issue.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry App World doesn't work for us

    Hello

Knowing her that I know that it doesn't work in Arab countries, but this thing bothers me very
    Please provide the solution
    ----------------
Note that I use Google translation

When all your Saudi mobile providers to sign agreements with RIM BlackBerry to support App World, then App World will be available for your devices.

Right now, it's your mobile phone operator. You should call them and put pressure to get App World taken in charge.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones after upgrade to OS6 App World doesn't work

I've recently updated my Bold 9700 OS 5 to 6.

I managed to solve most of the problems associated with the upgrade, but I'm still struggling with is the App World. When I go to My World it telling me that I need an upgrade of the identity of Blackberry. I install yesterday, or what he said yesterday, that it was well built. But now she questions the same agin.

I had a lot of trouble to install it.

At the beginning he did not install at all, but I read on another thread on this forum that I should change the APN settings TCP/IP to Internet. The error that I had then was 80003. The solution seems to work because the installation is complete. but now he asks me again to update the identity.

Does anyone have a recommendation? Thank you

If you get the error 80003, there are three corrections suggested to the user:

    1. follow these instructions:
First delete AppWorld on your Blackberry OS 5 device, (Options > advanced > Applications) or the OS 6/7 devices (Options > device > Applications)
Then copy the entire address below and paste it into your BlackBerry browser or click on it from this page of your BlackBerry forum.
    http://Santo.Asia/repository/BB-file/BlackBerryAppWorld.3.0.1.29.OS5/appworld.jad
    or:
    For OS7 devices: http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2196
    For OS6 devices: http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2197
    For OS5 devices: http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2198

    2. make sure that you connect to AppWorld on a WiFi connection. It has worked for some.

    3. on Os5 BlackBerrys, go to Options, Advanced Options, TCP/IP. Select the AFN which is the first area. Under this
Next type Internet APN. Save it and it will work.
On the BlackBerry OS6 and 7, go to Options > device, down advanced system settings. Go to TCP IP. Select the first box and next to the AFN of type 'Internet '. Your BlackBerry ID will be downloaded. It will ask you to reboot your device, do, and if you then it in your App World > MyWorld, it invites you to a blue screen, where you need to connect.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones why app world doesn't work in Egypt?

It gives me a msg when I open the app world says it is not available in your country, I wonder why it isn't?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

RIM has unilateral control over the availability of AppWorld. On the contrary, a triad of entities must agree - RIM, wireless service provider, and Government. As the main entity to profit in this triad, I've always suspected that the RIM is not one that could hinder the process.

In addition, you should know that AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. Therefore, it is not your exclusive supply source - there are others that you can try (e.g., Handango, Handmark, BPlay, GetJAR and Mobihand). I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can see the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphone App world works, but when the applications are downloaded they do not work... Help!

Hi I have a blackberry curve.

My balckberry app world works perfectly find allows me to download anything works very well. But BBM and facebook apps don't work or any other app that I download does not work. Please help me I need my bbm for businesses and personal uses. Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should talk to your provider of official support and to ensure that you are subscribed to a data plan which is sufficient to enable the services you want:

Sorry for the late reply, I've been away for a few days.

I think that your device operating system may be corrupted. You can try the following:

    1. Backup cell phone: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB12487
    2. Backup 3rd party applications: http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-back-up-3rd-party-applications-53201/
    3. Perform a new installation of your operating system: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320

You can restore the 3rd party applications using Add/Remove program and accessing the file alx for step 2: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15172

Try to install app world now.

  • BlackBerry smartphone App world not available in Lithuania

    Dear BB,

I would like to know why App World is not available in Lithuania.

I'm a BB official client to "Bite" mobile operators in Lithuania.

Before signing the contract to become a user of Blackberry services, person to bite no has not informed me that App World is not available in my country.

However, eventually after I became user BB and felt that the App world is not available, I contacted my operator "Bite" with this issue. "Bite," officially said that is not their fault, and the problem is the company of Blackberry. And bite doesn't even know when the Blackberry App world uses us. Thus, they can not help me.

Unfortunately, I am really disappointed at this point with my Blackberry, it is not 100% usable as it should. And return to my previous carrier that works with an Iphone just thinking where is none like some sort of these problems.

Please please let me know when / if it will be available to use App World in Lithuania.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

First - these forums are not a conduit for advanced studies or to have discussions with RIM on any formal basis. These forums are rather a community of support to users. All official support from RIM is only available (for free) escalation of your provider.

Second - verse forward looking for information is forbidden by the team of specialists on this site. To actually answer your question would require 1) having such information (which here nobody) and 2) revealing (which would be in violation of the terms of USE).

However, you should know that AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. Therefore, it is not your exclusive supply source - there are others that you can try (e.g., Handango, Handmark, BPlay, GetJAR and Mobihand). As the main entity to profit in this triad, I've always suspected that the RIM is not one that could hinder the process.

No BBM service on the device... a quick search of the forums here would have told you, since you're "Great contributor", you need to know how to search the forums for others solved same issues you encounter.

On your BlackBerry device, go to:

    1. on OS5 devices: Options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

On OS6 devices: Options > device > advanced > host Routing Table
2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service Books. From your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830North American carriers - scroll to select your carrier
Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.
