  Mine is fixed and working now.   Then I saved the q10 wiped and restore the backup. Then I changed the synchronization time email to 5 minutes to several hours to download things if necessary. Works perfectly now.

And when I try to do the reverse - manually enter the address/phone no., etc., in the handset, the new information does NOT migrate in Outlook Contacts my laptop - even if it shows there during the synchronization process.  I use the Desktop Manager 4.3.0.17, as the other posts on this forum suggest that supports Outlook 2007.

  No other problems with this - emails making the handset very well.

  The only other variable I can think of, is that when I installed the new Outlook I imported my old contacts in a pst file - but most of these contacts were really rudimentary, mostly only have addresses e-mail. I've been updated manual my files from my old filofax, scraps of paper stuffed in shoe boxes - you get the idea...
