Contacts transfer blackBerry to Android Smartphones
My wife has a Motorola Moto G (2nd generation) and I would get all the contacts of my Torch 9860 (BB7) transferred to his phone. How can I do this without having to buy a PMK program?
FYI, some forums Google offers Google Sync, which seems to no longer exist.
I am able to connect two phones via Bluetooth, but don't know what to do after that.
Thank you.
My wife's phone must be restarted to install the application. Once this is done, it worked well, and all my contacts have been copied. Thanks for your help.

Contacts transfer blackBerry 10 Android without BBID BBM
Hello. I know that this question has been asked a million times, but none of the proposed solution has worked, if...
My mother has an old Blackberry "BOLD" (running OS 6 I think) and she recently bought an android phone. She didn't sign with a BBID in his old blackberry, although she has a BBID to its android app. I'm afraid if I sign with the BBID on the old blackberry, I won't be able to synchronize his OLD contacts, instead I will overwrite the old contacts with the contacts in his android (who has maybe 3 people, as opposed to 50 +)
I tried to save the contact and got a file with which, but I don't know what to do with it, because there is no option in the BlackBerry application to import contacts.
Just to be clear, it's BlackBerry Messenger, not the telephone contacts contacts. I managed to import the .vcf, fortunately.
So I guess my question is:
1. If I log in on his old Blackberry with a new BBID, he replaces his old contacts with its new contacts? It will be able to sync his old contacts to its new BlackBerry application?
2. how to import a file with which to BlackBerry app?
Or if not, if you know another solution for this, I would be really grateful.
Hello monogatari.
Please let me first summarize.
The situation is the following:
- on an old BBM on the "BOLD", there are more than 50 contacts. that BBM is a version without BBID.
- on a new BBM on the Android phone, there are 3 contacts. It is related to a BBID, let's call it BBID1.
Your mother wants to get in the end 53 contacts on his BBM on the Android phone.
is that correct?
*****
If so, here's how I would do things. Two proposals.
The backup can be restored only on older versions of BBM for BBOS. Especially not on BBM for Android. If this doesn't get you anywhere.
solution one.
- using the "BOLD", open each contact and view their QRCode.
- Use the phone Android, in BBM, add the contact with the camera scanning the QRCode.
- Repeat for each contact.
If for some reason you cannot view the QRCode on the "BOLD", then you must update the BBM version on it.
two solution.
- create a new BBID2 (for example using the browser of your "BOLD" or a PC)
- install blackBerry World, this should also install the application called "BlackBerry ID".
- BlackBerryID installation and BlackBerry World, install BBM.
- engage with solution 1.
- I advise you to keep BBID2, even if you do not use.

What software download to transfer the photos from the "BOLD" in the computer windows 7
When you perform a backup of data with BlackBerry Desktop Software, it records pictures on your computer. Do the backup then on your PC, look for Photos, then click on the name of your phone (his PIN code) and you should see the pictures taken on your phone.
I hope that helps you.

Hello gillesg
Transferring content to your new Z10 BlackBerry is easy
Bring your contacts, video, photos, apps and more from your old phone to your new BlackBerry 10 device can be fast and hassle-free, especially if you already have a BlackBerry ID.
But before you start, download BlackBerry link of http://blackberry.com/software/desktop/blackberry-link.html. Click on a link below to navigate to the desired section.
- BlackBerry link to download on your computer.
- Connect your old device to your computer via a USB cable.
- Follow the steps on the BlackBerry link screen.

With link to BlackBerry, you can transfer data that has been saved in the memory on your old device, including:
- Contacts

- Tasks and memos
- BBM contacts
- Folders and bookmarks in the browser
- Alarm clock/settings
- Text, SMS, MMS, PIN messages

If you have anything that is saved on your SIM card, such as address book contacts, be sure to first save these things to your device memory or media card. Who will follow they are transferred over the switch of the device
Switching using a media card devices
For users of smartphones BlackBerry with BlackBerry OS 7 and later versions, you can switch devices using your card.
- On your old device, tap search and type switch of the device in the field.
- If you are running BlackBerry 7.0 or later, the installer appears in outcomes research.

Synchronize contacts Gmail blackBerry Pearl 9105 Smartphones - question
Hi all
I have a Pearl 9105 (v5.0.0.972) I like - a great little monster
I'm syncing my contacts Gmail to my BB and everything works well, not to mention that the scope of the Home Page that simply refuses to synchronize.
At first, I thought that the problem is with the name of the field, on the BB its called "Web Page" and in Gmail, its called 'Home Page' - so I changed the name of the field in Gmail "Web Page", but still, no synchronization.
I tried to change one of the fields 'User' on the BB to the "Home Page" and "Web Page", but his does not work.
Any ideas how to do to synchronize this field?
Thank you!
I found a solution (actually a workaround solution) here.

End of picture for the Contact to blackBerry Smartphones
I will have no problem bringing more of my details, but the photos associated with contacts in Outlook will be transferred to the Blackberry. Is this possible?
I have no problem with that. Contact transfer pictures very well, both Outlook in storm and vice versa.
You can check your synchronization settings... Here are a few instructions (I use Outlook 2007 btw)
1. connect the storm to your pc
2. open the Desktop Manager
3. click on icon "synchronize".
4. in the left menu, under "Configuration", click "sync".
5. on the new right screen, click the 'sync '.
6. once the software Intellisync window opens (it takes a few moments)...
7. turn highlighted "Address book Microsoft Outlook <->" by clicking once on it, then click on the button "Advanced...". "below
8. click on the "Field mapping" button at the bottom of the new window that opens
9. scroll down until you find something like 'Photo <->Photo of Contact' and make sure that they are linked with the double arrow and they are mapped correctly, which means that 'Picture' on the side of the camera has 'Photo contact' on the side of Outlook.
->->
You can run also through the installation wizard again, ensure that you have set to "Two-way synchronization", and the other settings are correct. You can reach the Setup program in the same window in step 7 above.
Hope that helps

Contacts of blackBerry Smartphones will not fully Synch
Just replace my steam-Office Outlook 2007 to Outlook Express 2000 w that I would send contacts compatible with my new Smartphone 9700 Bold (my 1st blackberry, replacing a really ancient mobile). The names and in some cases e-mail addresses of my Outlook contacts migrate to the handset very well - but nothing else: no phone numbers, nothing. And when I try to do the reverse - manually enter the address/phone no., etc., in the handset, the new information does NOT migrate in Outlook Contacts my laptop - even if it shows there during the synchronization process. I use the Desktop Manager 4.3.0.17, as the other posts on this forum suggest that supports Outlook 2007.
No other problems with this - emails making the handset very well.
The only other variable I can think of, is that when I installed the new Outlook I imported my old contacts in a pst file - but most of these contacts were really rudimentary, mostly only have addresses e-mail. I've been updated manual my files from my old filofax, scraps of paper stuffed in shoe boxes - you get the idea...
I am a UK user, btw.
Hi and welcome to the Forums!
DTM 4.3.0.17 while reports compatible with Outlook 2007, you would be wise to update DTM to the latest version (5.0.1.28), especially if you have a BB much newer than your version of DTM. Indeed, given what you have described, I would advise a clean boot above. Here is a procedure:
I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, under Vista/Win7, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.
(1) remove the package to update your device OS of your PC (Add/Remove Programs)
(2) properly uninstall the RIM DTM software:
- KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
(3) get a new RIM DTM software download:
- Choose the version which is more recent and (if any) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):
- KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize
(4) to download a new copy of your package to your carrier OS device (on your PC):
(5) install DTM on your PC
Installation of 6) (also on your PC), device OS package
(7) start the configuration Organizer:
- KB17022 How to configure applications to Organizer for synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager
If all goes well, who's going to make things again.
Good luck and let us know!

Risk of blackBerry 10 Android apps
Hello
yesterday, I received an email that there is a security hole when you use Android applications.
Unfortunately, it is a German page, but I think you get what it says when you translate
with google translate:
Source IOC:
Heise source:
Basically, he said that applications can read direct contacts of the business part of the phone.
The security flaw is fixed, but my provider for example has not released the update again...
So, if you use 10.2.1.537 or lower, I would Setup not all Android Apps.
What do you think about this?
Concerning
Redsun
The threat is low if you stick to the known apps and reliable sources.
Although it was reported as a security risk, I heard no Android applications that currently use this hole.
But if it's something, you are concerned about yes I recommend waiting for the update.
There is also a policy of BES ' security > Apps access to the work of personal Contacts "which can be set to None which stops all applications personal BlackBerry and Android to access business contacts side.
Once the update has been pushed out, you can change the return policy.
