Content by lining up in the sidebar with the content located in the main area?

Hello, I have created a website using Dreamweaver CS4 and have encountered a problem when using a model. The model I use is: 2 fixed columns, sidebar, header and footer to the right. The problem seems to be in the sidebar where content does not start at the top, it seems to be 15px under the content in the main area. I can't find CSS or any reason why it starts where it comes from. It seems to look like even and properly in Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari but not in IE9. The page is online at www.Lots2Homes.com and you will see that the content is lower to the right sidebar in the main area to the left. Below is the code for the home page and of the CSS.   • New Application appears in the list of tasks of the sidebar, but not in the main area

    Sometimes, when I create a new application, it does not appear in my primary list of Applications.

    But it is available through the recent list in the sidebar.

    It is not a matter of having a 2nd page of apps, but it's not (that is to say, at the bottom of the region in the list, it shows 1-2 of 2 lines.

    No idea why this is happening and how to change?

  • After putting a Photo in an Album, how can I find out the area of the main picture as its already in an Album?

    Hi guys, I've been long organize my 20 000 + photos in iPhoto. I decided to tackle this task this week since the new iPhone 7 publishes.

    My question is after I added a photo in an album since the main area of photos, how do I know if this picture is in an album already since the main area of photos so I do not add it again? I don't want to go crazy looking for pictures in the album and then comparing it to the main area of photos etc etc etc. I just want to know from the main area of photos that the photo is already in an album.

    You can create a smart album with the single rule:

    Album is not a

    To create smart album using ' file > new Smart Album.

    This smart album will contain only photos that are not in any standard album.

    Add photos to this smart album to other an albums, not from the main view of 'pictures '.

    Try turning off the GPU. Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance (Lightroom > preferences > Performance on a Mac) and uncheck the box use Graphics Processor.

    I'm relatively new to Dreamweaver, I finished tutorials easily enough, but when designing my site that I found that on different computers page doesn't fit always the entire screen and the background would be displayed according to the resolution. Isn't a problem in itself if the page was aligned in the Center and there was an equal amount of background on each side, but when holding the key CTRL and roll the mouse wheel, page narrows towards the top left corner, while many of the sites he enlarges or shrinks in the center of the page.

    Could you please be offer a way for the content page to adjust the size of the viewers browser or help me to change it if the pages are automatically aligned Center, and if a user uses CTRL and the mouse wheel to resize the page (I don't know what is the technical term for this) the page resizes to the Center.

    A working base site is available at http://www.hallbott.web44.NET If you want to see an example, the site itself is not finished, but it shows the problem.

    I have now corrected this,
    It turns out that in the CSS there was body to 420px wide, it was part of the original model and for some reason, was not displayed under body rules in the CSS sidebar. By removing this and have a rule to 980px and self rule 0 margin into the body, I managed to get the zoom works correctly.

    Not sure why it wouldn't work again, but it had to be something to do with the contradictory body width rules, I won't pretend to understand, the important thing is it works, thanks for the suggestions.

    Why would they?  You don't design a print document.  You design a web page. As soon as someone increases the size of the text in their browser, all changes anyway.

    I changed the type of document HTML 4.1 strict better cross browser. It is also much more forgiving of coding errors and easier to validate as XHTML.  Use any type of document matches your skills as a coder.

    In my view, that the problem with the links in the list behind has been resolved. At least they appear correctly for me on Win XP in 3 major browsers.

    You cannot change the name of a menu via the code item in userChrome.css because you can use this file to make CSS changes and do not change the attributes.

    If you use a content property {content: "new label"} then you add only the text before or after existing text if you want that button would you like to work.

    You create a simple extension to make such a change or possibly use the extension userchromeJS.

    If the thumbnails is checked in the menu 'View' preview, it should always open a PDF file with the open sidebar. Unless of course, it's a single page PDF.

  • Chapter with Figures OCD does not end up in the main table of contents

    At the end of my document. I have a list of numbers. This list of figures has its name in my chapter paragraph Style. At the beginning of my document, I have a main table of contents. When I update the table of contents, list of figures chapter would end up in the main table of contents. Is there something I can do to fix that? I was thinking of a hidden layer with a second title of chapter for a list of Figures, but it's a hack. Is there a better way?

    I was able to get the table of contents to update correctly. I did two things, and I don't know which was the right one, or if you need to do both, but here's what worked:

    Export the list in the history of the figures to tagged text, and then disable Smart Rflow text and remove all executives who are in this thread, so history has completely disappeared from the file (but the pages are left behind). File > Place... and choose the story exported and auto-flow, then select those images and change the number of columns. Now, select and delete the existing text in the history of the table of contents (I left executives), then layout > TOC and regenerate.

    I wish that the content key to a file (most likely a Word) that can be created in word and then placed in the main content of the home page. Then when my client modifies the Word document it can replace it by it FTP'ing in a folder of documents on the hosted server.

    In the end, I would have preferred that it connect to the Web site hosted, connect you to the space where it wants to make changes, and then save. (I'll ask another thread)
