Content server file system path Variable

Y at - it a variable available that displays the installation path of the Content Server file system... which is c:\stellent\ucm

Thank you!

If you look at the IdocScript guide, you see the one relative to the variable "IntradocDir":
"
Type and its use
-Configuration Variables (page - 3)
-Directories and paths (page - 18)
Description
Sets the path to the content server installation directory.
-It has no default value.
Location
-Content server: /bin/intradoc.cfg
-Server Administrator: /admin/bin/intradoc.cfg
Example of
Used as a configuration entry:
IntradocDir = c: / stellent.
"

Thus, this variable is not set!
You can set it and then you will be able to keep it in all your scripts idoc...
Why do you need to get this way?

  • How can I migrate content from file system to webcenter content using inbound refinery?

    Hello

    How can I move content 'Webcenter content' using Refinery Inboundfile system? There is a lot of content in my system, I want to go to "Content Server" using inbound refinery.

    How can I reach it? Is it possible to do this? If this is not possible using inbound refinery, so how can I do this?

    I use 11.1.1.6 version.

    Help, please.

    Concerning

    REDA

    Hi reda,.

    First - incoming refinery isn't real resources whose content is ingested in the content server. 'S done it by Webcenter Content server that holds / process of all content items.

    IBR is only used for the conversion of 1 format to PDF documents (and some others).

    So, in your case, you must first set up a content server and then install Desktop Integration Suite customer on your physical machine. In this place, you can drag-and - drop all the content of the file system to the content server.

  • Image: poster of local disk, download server and display the server file system

    Hello

    I use jdev 11.1.2.4.0...

    The requirement is that users want to upload images to their local drive for the drive on the server and they would like display of server disk images later.

    We do not want to save the images in the database. I'm not sure what should be the solution; However, I intend to...

    1 create a table to keep information from images - image_id, image_location (server drive), image_filename

    2. create a page where users can enter image information and specific file on a local disk name (I think I'll use inputFile component) and provide the Preview button to display an image on the screen before saving. To record data is to save the information in the database and copy an image file on the disk on server (the location for image files is predefined.)

    3. create another page where users can browse the database information and display an image for a selected record getting from the server.

    I need suggestions on...

    1. how to display an image on the page of the local drive?

    2. how to copy a file on a local disk to a server?

    3. how to display an image on the page of the drive on the server?

    Thank you.

    When Timo records the images in the database, you save it in the file system (examples on how to do this Java are available much if you just Google for it). Similar to Timo you then use the tag image to display pictures. The difference is that you can directly add the URL of the database table.

    The advantage of using a database to host images, it's that you're not although dependent on files server structures

  • Application server file system permissions

    I run my application on Oracle Application Server and at one point that the application must read and others to write some files to remote paths. Still, it fails with the error "access denied." With local path that it works fine, the same error occurs with the network drive mapped. The same exactly app would be fine works of JDeveloper10g (on built-in oc4j that is).
    The operating system is Windows XP, JRE 1.5, Application Server 10 g.
    Any help is very appreciated!

    Hello

    If the Application Server HTTP server is started as a service, make sure that it starts with a user account with permission to the network and writing. However, appears not to be a JDeveloper problem and, therefore, the question must be poszed the Forum of OracleAs, not here

  • Can I set up for Dreamweaver credentials to authenticate to a htaccess on the server file system?

    Hi all! I try to keep my site secure all developing. I like the Live View feature in Dreamweaver, but if I put in place a htaccess file on my server, Dreamweaver can't seem to manage authentication. Any thoughts? If this is not possible, what are the best ways to keep access to a secure Web site and restricted all developing?

    You develop on the external server? Most of us develop on our local machines and then download the files (FTP) the published to the external server.

    I don't know what you're trying security restrictions. You try to password protect the external website during development? And you use the htaccess method?

    Normally the LINUX permissions are set to allow anyone to view your Web site but not make any changes to the file. Your FTP user account has permission to make changes to the file. This has nothing to do with htaccess.

  • How to download files from the database file system.

    Hello everyone.

    I m trying to do a procedure to download a PDF file that is stored in the file system of the server of the database and not inside the database. The established procedure is the following:

    create or replace
    PROCEDURE PRT_PR_DOWNLOAD_FICH (v_file_name VARCHAR2
    )

    AS

    V_LENGTH number;
    Lob_loc Bfile;

    BEGIN

    Lob_loc: = bfilename ('DIR_OBJ', v_file_name);
    V_LENGTH: = dbms_lob.getlength (Lob_loc);

    owa_util.mime_header ("application/octet ', False");
    HTP.p ("Content-length: ' |") v_length);
    HTP.p ('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename = "" | ") SUBSTR (v_file_name, INSTR (v_file_name, ' /') + 1) | '"');
    owa_util.http_header_close;
    wpg_docload.download_file (Lob_loc);

    END PRT_PR_DOWNLOAD_FICH;

    This procedure receive the name of the file to download and use the wpg_docload.download_file () function. The DIR_OBJ is a directory with path from the server to the folder that contains the files I want to download.

    When I run this procedure I get the error: "Internal Server Error".

    Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and if it is the best way to download a file directly from the database server file system?

    Hello Pedro,

    Just out of curiosity, I tried your example ;-) It works very well in my environment! (Oracle 10g with OSH and Apex 3.1.2
    But: I had to grant READ permissions on my directory object to APEX_PUBLIC_USER!

    (1) I created a "test.txt" document in the directory corresponding with my EXPDIR directory object. 'Oracle' user needs read on the file & document permissions!

    (2) give APEX_PUBLIC_USER necessary READ rights on the directory object:

    grant read on the directory expdir to apex_public_user;

    (3) create the procedure:

    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE MATTHIASH. PRT_PR_DOWNLOAD_FICH (v_file_name VARCHAR2)
    AS
    V_LENGTH number;
    Lob_loc Bfile;
    BEGIN
    Lob_loc: = bfilename ('EXPDIR', v_file_name);
    V_LENGTH: = dbms_lob.getlength (Lob_loc);

    owa_util.mime_header ("application/octet ', False");
    HTP.p ("Content-length: ' |") v_length);
    HTP.p ('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename = "" | ") SUBSTR (v_file_name, INSTR (v_file_name, ' /') + 1) | '"');
    owa_util.http_header_close;
    wpg_docload.download_file (Lob_loc);

    EXCEPTION
    WHILE OTHERS THEN
    HTP.p (substr (dbms_utility.format_error_stack (): dbms_utility.format_error_backtrace (), 1, 4000));
    END PRT_PR_DOWNLOAD_FICH;
    /

    (4) Grant execute rights on APEX_PUBLIC_USER of this procedure:

    GRANT EXECUTE ON MATTHIASH. PRT_PR_DOWNLOAD_FICH TO APEX_PUBLIC_USER;

    (5) Finally, try if download document works well:

    http://: 7777, pls, apex, MATTHIASH. PRT_PR_DOWNLOAD_FICH? v_file_name = test.txt

    I would like to know if it works!

  • SSXA: How it connects to Content Server as a sysadmin without password?

    Hello world

    We use SSXA 11.1.1.5. The documentation says that SSXA engine accesses the content as a user admin server internally:
    the adminUser userId is used to extract the data from the content server file and store it in the Studio of Site for external Applications cache.
    With little investigation, we found that the admin user is configured in the configuration file wcm - config.xml:
    <contentServer connectionName="MyPortal" adminUser="sysadmin"/>
    However, we are confused because no password is necessary. (In fact, the XML < contentServer > element has an attribute called "adminPassword" but it does not matter what we put in it - the continuous SSXA engine to run. The user interface does not include a password either, field that makes us think that this attribute is deprecated).

    Could someone explain to me how SSXA connects to the content without password server? If it uses some special API that does not require a password, it's a security breach?

    Thank you
    Dimitar

    It uses the remote Client of Intradoc (IDRC). http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E14571_01/doc.1111/e16819/toc.htm

    It is not a security hole because there is a UCM configuration parameter called SocketHostAddressSecurityFilter that determines which network addresses are allowed to use CRMI.

  • File system / OS

    When you review the security of your Oracle DB, someone of you focus on operating system / database server file system security, or focus only on the configuration of the DB and patch levels itself? If review you the file system / OS is all focus you on specific areas or best practices you can provide? Or any OS/FS common level results, you tend to come through this require (d) speaking... • How/where are the financial reports stored on the file system of the server?

    We recently lost a large part of our reports on our server. We cannot understand what the restore directory location in order to get these reports back. Where is the default directory for 11.1.2.2 financial reports? And in what format the reports are being saved?

    EN reports can be found in the file system of the operating system (o/s), but the EMP workspace hierarchy (folders, tree, etc.) are stored in the database of repository Hyperion bi +.

    On the system of operating system files, the reports are stored in RM1 folder under folder "C:\oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\ReportingAnalysis\data\RM1\root".

    The names of the reports placed here are UUID (identifiers of long - not the actual names).

    For example:

    When a report is created with the name 'My report' in Studio Financial Reporting, by connecting to the EMP workspace will be available in the name of financial reports/folder where it was saved.

    the actual report will be stored in a subfolder of the RM1\root folder on the file system.

    The file name will be a unique identifier (not the real name of the report is 'my report')

    It will be generated 'on the fly' based on various things such as the date and time on the server (i.e. 0000012f5af72b1a-0000-ec71-c0a8006c.00000130510b77bb-0000-5133-c0a8006c.1)

    The meta-data for this report ('My report', that is in the folder in the workspace, the date of the change of the report, permissions on this report, etc) will be stored in the Hyperion bi + DB as an object in an encrypted table. Financial reporting knows what metadata in the Hyperion bi + DB which corresponds to the report, in the file 'RM1\root' because all rows in the table for that object in the Hyperion bi + PB related to 'My report' will be referenced using the UUID of the file (for example 0000012f5af72b1a-0000-ec71-c0a8006c.00000130510b77bb-0000-5133-c0a8006c.1)

    Note: The location of the folder of RM1 differs with each facility's operating system.

  • Oracle WebCenter content allows you to export all content database on the file system?

    un) I read through the links to understand the properties of table FileCache:

    (i) management of a system of storage of files - 11 g Release 1 (11.1.1)

    (II) 3.5 Configuration of a system of Bank

    I need to clear all user content (refunds) stored in the database (assuming that the storage Type is defined as JDBC) on the file system for a period of time, but don't know how to do step by step. Only fragments of information are present in the links above.

    b) I also understand that the content uploaded by the user on the content of WebCenter when the storage Type is defined as JDBC are stored down LOBs format. But is there a way to encrypt content before storing them in the database. I read this link:

    https://blogs.Oracle.com/fusionecm/entry/ucm_and_11g_db_securefiles

    But simply make the filestorage table as being encrypted, it will encrypt all content that the user downloads?

    Hey there,

    You can export your file system content using utility to archive it.

    not sure the second part but I think that all the documents would get encrypted.

    see you soon,

  • What is the path of file system for javascript files?

    We want to keep our javascripts under version control using SVN.  SVN has features to do this, but they are all accessible from the file system location where the files are stored.  So where is it?  When the external editor is used, the file is copied to the Temp directory under the logged in user, but as soon as you close the editor, the file is deleted, so this isn't really an appropriate place for SVN connection.

    Thank you!

    You can get this path as well using the same method, by replacing "javascript".

    with "sequences".
