  Ignore the update, Podcasts is built into iOS 9, you can't update built-in apps on your iPad (except through iOS updates). (It's show due to: remove the built-in apps from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS beta 10 - Apple Support)

  If you have not all devices running older versions of iOS (or if you do, if you do not use Podcasts on them), you could remove the application from the My Apps from your iTunes library section so that the "update" to disappear.

  Since May 2009, I have the following podcast that ran (albeit with a 2 year hiatus):

  After our show "comeback" on March 22, it downloaded correctly. Unfortunately the shows on March 29 and April 5 are uploaded correctly and if you are a Subscriber came to watch to download in the iTunes client but do not appear in the iTunes store.

  In 'Apple Podcasts Connect' the food reads as having various errors. Oddly enough, a second podcast that I have has a talkshoe XML feed has been allowed a few days ago showed that the error, then was allowed again.

  I don't expect the 5th episode of April to show in the store again - it usually takes about 2 days for a new episode to appear. However, previous episodes of 29 March should have appeared. However, there has been cases recently of the Bank of failing to show the odd episodes. All you can do is to email them and request a re-indexing - it usually sorts out. It seem not to be serious errors in the food that can cause this.

  It is impossible to access a stream to this URL, and when typing in the browser it brings up the error message "ERROR: is not a valid food model.'"

  You must get the store using the correct diet. If you can access the server of the URL that I quote you can add the "itunes: new-feed-url' tag redirection as described in my page at http://wilmut.uk/move .

  If you are unable to do this, you will need to contact support. Go to https://itunespodcasts.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and click on the triangle to the right of the field "Choose a topic" - choose "Change workflow URL" and proceed from there.

• iTunes doesn't match not updated

  The last 3 albums that I added to my iTunes library (12.3) do not appear on any of my other devices (iPhone 5 s, iPad or Apple TV) despite the Genius update many times on iTunes. I checked the State of all the securities in question iCloud, but it seems that there is no problem here that shows any special status. I've also disabled Genius and restarted again, but nothing has changed.

  What do you mean by no special status is displayed. Add column State iCloud for the song. This will tell you if the securities have been matched, downloaded, purchased, two copies or pending.

  Try selecting the iCloud Update music library in itunes library...

  Once a podcast has been accepted and appeared in the store, it may take a few days for the image to appear. Your image file is OK, so it should show eventually - I'm afraid, it's just a matter of waiting.

• Stream Podcast shows of new episodes, but feed validators and subscribed itunes do not update

  Hello everyone, I ran a rather strange problem this morning during the release of my latest podcast episode.  When I publish a new episode, it appears in the flow, but it will not appear in itunes.  I know that there is a delay for the itunes store to show the episode but the episode shows when I check with a subscribed podcast app.

  The last episode is in the RSS feed and as far as I know, everything looks ok:

  But when I look at the flow through a feed validator, it won't show the most recent episode of today.

  While trying to figure out what might be the problem, I tried to put the audio from today in last week's episode (108) and when I go there to play, he continued to play audio from last week even though the RSS feed shows that I put another file in the enclosure.  If for any reason, the stream no is not updated even if it is actually updated.

• Latest Podcast episode not updated in iTunes

  For the first time our last podcast episode (we are on episode #18) it does not appear in iTunes - not even for subscribers, like me. My flow is updated very well, he retired to a third party validator and I am able to find the episode in Stitcher-and - Google Play, but iTunes does not seem to recognize it.

  I clicked manually "Refresh" in iTunes Podcast Connect, but it doesn't seem to help.

  The only clue is that last week is the first time, the episode did not show immediately in the iTunes store.   The only other thing I notice is my URL of mirror (that I found in the dashboard Podcast Connect) doesn't seem to be loading. My understanding is that it is the permanent URL of feed iTunes creates I can change my RSS URL feed without disrupting the subscribers. I have not changed my feed URL, but if if subscribers are feeding off the coast of this mirror URL and it does not work, it is the root of the problem? Not that I know how to fix the URL of mirror...

  Just updated to iTunes 12.3.3.17.  It will not update my podcast feed, so I don't get new episodes.  Does not try to update manually.  Y at - it another way to get around this, or I have to wait for Apple to release a patch?

  Also syncs not on wireless or wifi.  I need to download directly on ipod.

  You see these warnings by mistake. These applications can only be updated as part of updating to iOS without iTunes.

  You can ignore the warnings or remove the two apps to iTunes. This will not affect these applications on your iDevices.

  So my podcast, ' Onstage/Offstage', has been very well on iTunes for three years. All of a sudden it will not update new episodes, new graphics and text changes. I checked my file rss.xml several times and it seems very well as usual.

• My description of podcast iTunes is not updated

  I changed the description of my podcast, but the change is still not update in iTunes. My podcast started Soundcloud (I changed the description about 24 hours ago), but now it's hosted on Libsyn. I've updated description here and on Feedburner at least 72 hours ago. Is there somewhere else I might need to make the change? Not 100% sure which of these iTunes out of fill.

  Apple actually pulls your description of the summary tag - and NOT the description.

  To update your description in your libsyn account go to 'Destinations' and then click 'Edit' to classic libsyn to power.

  For the summary field - put in your new description and click Save.

  Before clicking on save - also be sure to select 'Explicit' for your show.  Go forward iTunes wants to see a show as clean or explicit.  And if you have an episode that is explicit - you should do the show as explicit.

  It may take a few days for a modified image appear in the store. The new image is OK with a possible problem - the file size is 834 kb.   Despite the title, your image is 1280 x 1280 px, less than the minimum acceptable size of 1400 x 1400 px and so no update. When you have corrected this, you must specify the image a different file of the original name or the store will have no way of knowing that it's been updated. It may take a few days for a new image appear in the store.

  Your last episode was published about two days ago isn't that unusual that the store has not yet updated. It must do so in the next: if it does not go to Connect of Podcasts, connect you, choose your podcast and click on "Refresh Feed '. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that doesn't work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it.
