context files

What is the difference between EBSapps.env and APPS < frame > .env files? Time of execution of each ones?

Thank you

Roshan

Rgds

Hello

An environment of supply file, means running the commands in the file as in the following examples:

. / APPS.env

. APPS.env

source of the APPS.env

Custom files are used to define your own custom variables and do special actions so that they do not crushed by AutoConfig when it is executed.

    Hi all

    in 12.2.2 on Oracle Linux 6

    where contextfile CONTEXT_NAME.xml created by AutoConfig?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Nom_du_contexte is generated based on the name of the instance and the name of the server.

    Try "echo $CONTEXT_NAME".

    If you want the context file, just run the following command in the apps or db level and it will show you the location of the full path to the file:

    echo $CONTEXT_FILE

  • 12.2.3 cloning - y at - there a step I'm missing? There is no patch file system context file

    Hello

    Following the steps in note # 1383621.1, I can successfully clone and start the target system. When the clone is finished, the patch file system is empty (I do not see anywhere that told me to copy the side patch, that is an error on my part?). So I guess I would need to do 'adoption phase = fs_clone' on the target after the clone, but it fails with the message

    Context file system PATCH file: /u01/oracle/PTCH/fs1/inst/apps/PTCH_jmisfindev/appl/admin/PTCH_jmisfindev.xml

    ERROR: File not found specified context.

    I'm missing something, can anyone point me in the right direction?

    If I make a few changes in the context file in the section < oacore_jvm, and running the auto-configuration service.

    To update file also contained opmn.xml wirth for context file?

    -Thank you

    If I change what opmn.xml this change will be temporary. Such as running autocinfig crush him.

    Fix.

    So if I want to make this permanent value I need to change in the right context (*.xml) file?

    Correct, then run AutoConfig then.

  • How to remove the old context files after upgrade to R12.1.1

    Hello

    I upgraded 11.5.9 (DB 9.2.0.4) to 12.1.1 (DB 11.2.0.2).

    In the application manager under automatic configuration menu, I noticed that I have 4 files of context: 2 DB level and 2 for the Application Tier. Two of them are apparently old 11i system. How can delete them so I have two listed on this page. I have to add custom settings. When I tried to do it wrong by saying 'Customization is not permitted on the different versions of the configuration files.'.

    Thank you
    Sinan

    Make sure that none of the old context files are available on the servers (delete), make sure also that you have entered right in the FND_NODES table.

    For the error you get, please see these documents.

    Create a custom setting does not work - customization is not allowed on the different Versions of the Configuration [762590.1 ID] files

  • Generation of context reg on db file layer in R12

    Hello

    In R12, there are 2 utilities to generate the context on DB level file: adbldxml.pl and adclonectx.pl. Which one to use and when? What is the difference between 2 files. Creation of files where the search context information.

    Kind regards
    Purnima Johari

    I'm still not very clear. Suppose that my context file is lost. According to metalink note I should use adclonectx.pl to retrieve the context on db file. Why can't I use adbldxml.pl to recover my lost files of context? SIM card if I create the file context for the 1st time so why I can't use adclonectx.pl?

    Use 'recover adclonectx.pl' to recreate the application context file. For reconstruction/recreate the context of database file you can either use adbldxml.pl or 'adclonectx.pl recover. "

  • Open a PDF file of runtime android application

    Hello

    I try to open a PDF file of my Android app on a phone BB10 Z10 (10.2.1).

    He intended me to use 'File Viewer' with adobereader logo, but nothing happen when I click on it.

    I tried to put files on different storage and directory, but I have the same problem with no error:

    Public warehousing

    public static String getDefaultPath() {
            return Environment.getExternalStoragePublicDirectory(Environment.DIRECTORY_DOWNLOADS).getAbsolutePath()+"/";
    }

    And internal storage:

    public static String getDefaultPath() {
            return context.getFilesDir().getAbsolutePath()+"/";
    }

    Here is my code to open the pdf file, it works fine on Android:

    File file = new File(path);
    if (file.exists()) {

        try {
            Toast.makeText(context, "Trying to open " +path+" => "+ file.getName(), Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();

            Uri fileUri = Uri.fromFile(file);
            Intent i = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
            i.setData(fileUri);
            i.setType("application/pdf");
             i.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP);
            context.startActivity(i);

        } catch (Exception e) {
            Logger.getInstance().LogException(e);
            Toast.makeText(context, "Unable to pen file..." + e.getMessage() + " " + e.getClass().getName(), Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();

        }
    } else {
        Toast.makeText(context, "File not found..." + file.getName(), Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();

    }

    I do not see my camera in DDMS, there is nothing, how can I debug to check if the system returns me an error when I try to open the pdf?

    Thanks for your help!

    Best,

    Ricken

    I solved my problem.

    There were actually two problems, the first is I have to use public storage for adobereader is able to access my pdf file, so I solved it by copying pdf to dir public cache before opening it and then I can keep all other protected files.

    The other problem is rather strange and seems to be a bug, I replaced:

    i.setData(fileUri);
    i.setType("application/pdf");
    i.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP);

    with a little:

    i.setDataAndType(fileUri, "application/pdf");

    And now the pdf file is successfully opened by adobereader

    Your OPatch itself does not work. Looks like that problem installing java.

    a precise answer of is ' when JVM attempts to load a class and found that this version of class file is not taken in charge he throws UnSupportedClassVersionError , and it occurs generally if an version superior JDK is used to compile the source file and a lower JDK version is used to run the program.» Try for example if you compile your JDK 1.5 java source file and allow you to run on JDK 1.4 you will get the error "java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: bad version in .class file number [at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1 (Native Method)].

    If you have changed the IP address, then you must purge FND_NODES, then run AutoConfig on the node of the database layer and the application layer node to populate the table. Once the correct entries exist in the FND_NODES table, and then you can start services and check - assuming that the IP address was successfully changed at the level of the BONE.

  • Clone several nodes and appl_top shared using the XML file backup

    Can I use work save file of application context to repeat the clones and avoid to perform following steps:

    -Configure the node C (run '"perl adclonectx.pl sharedappltop contextfile = < context of Applications for the existing node file >' and ' perl-I < AU_TOP > / perl txkSOHM.pl"orders ")

    If I work the previous clone XML, I would be able to use the same XMl file for re - clone without implement shared appltop and add a node step. Please, share your ideas.

    You should be able to use it. However, according to the Oracle docs support is to clone the main node and add more nodes by cloning the context files.

  • Change of context parameter

    Hello world

    If I change a context using OEM parameter, will be this parameter comtext get updated at the same time the context stored in the data base and top appl file.

    Some could help me on this.

    Thank you
    Silver

    My doubt is a context file is stored in the database (I'm not refereing the context file for the node database here)
    and the other in the file sytem. If I update a context parameter (for example, file context for the appliciaton node) using OAM, then it will update the context file stored in the database and file system or just the contextparametes in the datababse.

    Update the application via OAM context file will update only the application context file or the server. You need to run the automatic configuration, and then update the context variables that are stored in the database.

    Thank you
