Context in the form adobe module options
Is it possible to have a PNG or a picture as background in adobe forms module?
As of now, you can't add a background picture to a form widget, however, you can submit a feature request in the ideas of this forum (http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/ideas) section so that other users looking for this feature can also vote for the same thing.
For now, you can just place an image size appropriate behind the form itself (because it has a transparent background fill).

Re: Satellite T110-107 will not start in the form of recovery option using the f8 key.
I tried several times and can't get the option of recovering your system by typing intermittently the * key f8 during the startup * as it says in the manual, it will just directly in Windows. I just installed the latest version of the BIOS, but that did not help either. I have no recovery discs, but I would get the f8 problem solved in any case. Everything else works perfectly. Thank you.

Maybe you didn t press F8 in the right way
You must press F8 immediately after the laptop has been powered!
Press several times to be sure 100%If this does not work, create the recovery disk! This should be done first before you do anything with the laptop!
The recovery disk is always important and useful if something goes wrong with the HARD drive!After you create the recovery disk using this drive to put the laptop in the same State as on the first day of purchase

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader with a DC pro subscription. When I try to add the tool shape to prepare for my Add ons, I get redirected to a subscription page. When I try to buy the subscription it tells me that I already have a subscription, but is not clear how to add the shape tool prepare.
Can anyone help?
You must use Acrobat DC, not Acrobat Reader DC...

How dim part of the form based on selection?
I have a php form that has a dropdown menu with two options: Standard or custom. If the visitor chooses Custom, I need the form remains to be "grey" on or off or something. I have no idea where to start. I did a quick search on the web and have not found much. I wonder if this may be something that handles JavaScript. Or perhaps an IF statement that causes the rest of the form to appear if custom is selected. (Please let me know if I am barking the wrong tree.)
I'll spend some time tomorrow night trying to find a solution, so I hope someone can point me in the right direction first.
Any advice would be welcome. If anyone knows a tutorial or explanation or a solution on the web, please send me a link.

PHP is a language server side, so the only way to do it with PHP would be to submit the form when this option is selected.
You must use JavaScript to disable form elements. The following script activates / deactivates on and outside form elements:
Put this in the head of your document and apply it on the menu drop down like a like this onchange event:
The first argument passed to the function toggleDisabled() is the ID of the form. The second argument is the name of a class you need to apply for the fields that you want to disable.

(Beginner) Impossible to validate the behavior of the form access
I made html for about a month (and Dreamweaver so long too)
In my first attempt to use Javascript, I cut and pasted many validation scripts Online and nothing has ever worked during their use in several fields. Then, I tried the behavior of the form validate exactly as described in a book by Dreamweaver and found the form to validate option is grayed out.
The form is simple. I have two drop-down lists and a "submit" button. One of the lists is built using PHP. I tested the form without validation and it works fine.
I also tried to add a new form and the validate option is available. It is as far as I'm away.
I'm looking for some information as to why the option is grayed out. Who can tell me why the other scripts did not work.

When I say 'By the Book' I speak somewhat metaphorical. But the steps I mentioned are in Teach Yourself Dreamweaver of the Sam in 24 hours (a popular book by a popular editor).
Similarly, if (using the toolbar for simplicity and accuracy) you create a form, add a text field inside, and then add a button "submit" on the inside, you can select the button in design mode and then the option validate form will be available.
But more specifically, you can click anywhere in the body and the option is available and can be applied to any form on the page.
When I add the other shapes on the page, the option validate form is available for them, but never available for the form that I originally listed here.
Also, I have validated all the tags.
============================Now, before this announcement, I did several tests and found the answer. This function performs the validation of TEXT fields.

Why is there not an option to print only the form data in Adobe XI?
I created a form in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and saved. So I want to open it in Adobe Reader, fill it in and then print only the data from the form, but it is not an option to print only the form data in Adobe Reader XI. I don't know if it's in the way I created the form or something else. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Adobe is a software company, unless you are a builder.
Player cannot directly print the form data.
The ability to print the form data only exist in Acrobat Professional and Acrobat Standard. To purchase the full product provides more bang for the buck.

Why subscribers e-mail to the addresses in the list of options in the form title menu drop-down
Hello, can someone tell me why this is happening?
A site of BC has a few mailing lists with subscribers and a form that allows users to subscribe to them. When I add the shape to a page using a copy/paste the html code or insert the form as a module, the form generates all email subscribers address in menu options drop-down title as well as regular options of Mr, Mrs, Miss etc.
Anyone know why this is happening and how can I stop it?
It is not a major as I can remove them easily enough, I just want to know why it is happening.
I just remembered. It was so common that has support of a button inside their interface to reset securities. If go you to them, they will do that in a second.

I'm filling out a form that is available on a site. When I click on the option to fill out and submit the form 'online' a pdf document is displayed in chrome with the following text
«To display all of the content of this document, you need a later version the viewer PDF.» You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html for further support, go to www.adobe.com/support/products/acrreader.html"
Needless to day, I installed the latest version. I even reinstalled using the link in the message, but nothing helped. Whenever I click on the link to go forward, I get the same message. Question: (i) is it my PC/software (Vista), (ii) is the site where I'm trying to submit the form, or (iii) is it the software acrobat reader. Note that I used successfully the last version to fill out and sign forms.
It is none of them. It's Chrome, which is ignoring Adobe Reader and showing the message.
Solution: just save the document (with the message) to your desktop. Then open it in Adobe Reader. The 'real' should then display.

This feature is not available with the edition of in the browser. but you can change the e-mail address of the site admin dashboard.
If your site is hosted with BC, you can find options as below:
To change the "E-mail" field, go to:
Site manager > Web Forms > click on the form name > e-mail Notification
To change the "E-mail" field, go to:
Site manager > system email > set default ' origin' Email

I made a simple form using LiveCycle Designer ES2. When finished, I saved normally in PDF.
When sending by email or copy to another computer... I m open the PDF file in Adobe Reader to test if it works. All fields are okay (I used simple fields, without JavaScript).
But Adobe Reader displays a message that the current form cannot be saved. If I want to, I could print to have a completed copy of the form.
What a lack of I m?
How could I do the PDF opened by Adobe Reader and power save without problem?

Hi Gustavo,
You open the form in Acrobat, then depending on the version of Acrobat you have you go to the Advanced menu OR the menu file. The PDF summary at link has screenshots for Acrobat version 9.

I have a set of adobe models that have been developed in Adobe Livecycle designer version 6.0.
Now I have to move these Adobe LiveCycleDesigner 7.1
I could get a document "compatibility of Adobe Designer 6.0 for designs with Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.1"
I read abt the text formatting of compatibility and compatibility model event of the form design.
What would be the best way to do it?
If I open the 6.0 version in Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.1 and make a simple "Save - as"... will it work?

It is not the designer itself that decides what is supported in your model... .it is the target version that you design to. So when you open in the Designer 7.1, then go to properties/default values form you will receive additional options for the target version. If you are targeting version 7, you can test things you mentioned... If it causes you problems then you can change the target version 6 and all should be the same as before.
