  Hi experts,

  I'm under 2 problems with video player in my application:

  1. the backlight turns off automatically after 30 seconds by default during playback of a video file.

  2. impossible to adjust the volume, he always plays with the highest volume.

  -For the first problem, you will need to set the backlight to yourself in the code, something like:

  Be careful about the number of seconds that you pass to the enable(). They are tp limited 255 seconds even if you spend a lot. This means that if your video is longer than 255 seconds, you must call the activate more than once. I usually call it the timer as well as check the status

  -For volume control, the player does not meet the default control buttons. You need to implement it in your code.

• Video player problem restart when W7

  I have a very unusual problem (sorry for my English. I speak Spanish and did this with index).

  OK, I have install the Production Premium CS6 upgarde in my laptop (HP Pavilion DV6-Intel Core I7 2.0 GHz 6 GB Ram 1 GB Radeon HD 6770 M video card). I got CS5.5 and everything was OK. Now with CS6, all programs work fine but the Premiere Pro. When I run this program, I see the start screen where you can see the name of the components and loading of plugins. As soon as it reaches ImporterQuickTime.prm file it stops and this message appears: "Adobe Premiere Pro can not find any module of video game. ' Update your video drivers and try again. So I know I have a problem of video player. I update the drivers and I still have the problem. Then I down grade drivers and it fix it! Finally I can run the first Pro CS6. But, that soon I reboot my system the problem is back. Then I run the upgrade, and it correct it again. But again, when I restart the system the problem is back.

  So as you can see, any if I upgrade or downgrade the video driver, I have Premier Pro works without problems, but as soon as a reboot of my laptop, the problem comes back and I need to change the video driver (without restarting) in order to work with the Premier Pro.

  Can someone has an idea? I really appreciate because tech people at Adobe have still no solution my problem yet.

  Check that you have not lit at all in the BIOS embedded graphics.

• Do menu with video thumbnails

  I created a menu with the video thumbnail. I want the video thumbnail to use Chapter 2 on the timeline, but when the user click on the play button, I want the chronology from Chapter 1. How do I do that?

  Whenever I load a page with this added behavior and test it with my link, I get a message "error on Page".

  Does anyone have an idea, how can I preview my menus pop up without burning and waisting a BD every time?

  I just downloaded two different of Blu - Ray players free for mac, they both seem to lack the ability to open a context menu. (Really, I wonder why this is so, I can't imagine that it is so hard to develop...)

  Anyway, how do you guys do you this? is there any software out there that can do this? I'm at a point where I feel I still pay for software or get a windows software and run it through crossover, if necessary...

  Please help, I really want to watch my BluRay before I burn to disc.

  Two methods:

  I use Total Media Theater (5 or 6). It is not free, and I don't know if it is available for Mac. Context menus slideshow operation is the most difficult for the emulators (which is are players computer DVD/BD).

  Burn to a DVD + RW. This is essential as a step of test to burn to a disc.

  I need help to find a good video for progressive download FLV video player. I like the way that players who are included in DW CS4, but they don't have what I want. What I want is a simple player that shows how much of the video is downloaded (as on youtube when a bunch of video the progress is displayed in red light and which played already appears in dark red).   Download the demo and see for yourself. Want to get Flash custom player and build yourself. Don't know Flash so learn it or the employment contract. Don't want to do it then find a built-in online reader. Some are free and some cost. There are many options available, it's yours to explore and decide. For example, a google search for FLV player produced very interesting results. Maybe the free addition of your search query can help.

• Windows 8 Pro: cannot play video files and Misic in WMC on Xbox 360 - can do with video player

  I've had problems with this for a few days now. Everything worked perfectly on Win 7 Ultimate.
  However, after an update to Win 8 Pro with the Media Center Pack, I can't Windows Media Center on my xbox 360 to play all files. All files (audio & video) are visible, but they refuse to play and generate errors such as:

  Video error
  Files needed to display video are not installed or do not work properly. Restart Windows Media Center or restart the computer

  None of the options above worked.

  A homegroup is set up, I'm on a private network, network discovery and file sharing & printer are on and I can see the Xbox and its Media Center Extender devices & Printers.

  Everything is shared. My 2 drives have been set to 'Share' for all records to the breast.

  I can play the files in WMC perfectly on my PC.

  What I've seen, this is the event logs to complain about digital rights management

• Menu with video instead of the static image buttons?

  Working on my first still project and I have pretty much done. Just have a question about the menu buttons.

  Is it possible to have show a short, repeating the clip of the associated chapter or are we stuck with static image?

  I know that we have a video clip as a background for the whole menu, but I wonder about the buttons themselves.

  They are called "animated vignettes." You can set the framework from the beginning (the poster frame). The buttons have special features. Almost all menus "submenu" called library have this features and show you the button layer prefix.

• Create the new template context menu with TweakUI

  I regularly use a program called NoteTab Light to various textual works with UTF-8 encoding. I want to be able to right-click and create a new file with the UTF-8 encoding (I was using an extension .utf8 for that), but I'm unable to add this option when I use TweakUI.   I rounded upper-left & right corners on the bar using the Top Menu rule ul. MenuBarHorizontal.a. unfortunately it also rounded summits of the submenus.

  I tried the menu SUP rules to try and get the submenus to square boxes but have failed.

  Can someone tell me how to get the square corners of submenus, while leaving the corners of rounded top-level menu?
