Continuous start on laptop

At the start, I just © Microsoft Corporation and a progress bar with a green bar across the screen constantly.

I'm not sure of the version of Vista I have running since I can't boot up the laptop. I ran all the updates of Windows.

I tried f6 beginning and tried a Windows to solve the problem and he said that Windows could not solve the problem. I tried a f8 safe mode and same thing, © Microsoft Corporation and a progress bar with a green bar across the screen constantly.

I do not have the system disks - I bought the PC with the installed system.

What would be great is if you could point me to a link where I could download a boot disc and burn it on another computer and then try to start the laptop on a disk and repair?

Contact the computer manufacturer and give them the information on the computer, including the serial number (not the product key that they cannot use and do not tell us more but the serial number (or whatever they call it) machine-, it must be somewhere on the side, bottom, back or maybe even inside maybe next to or underneath the battery).  They should be able to tell you whether or not you have a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Vista they installed.  The reception includes the serial number of the machine?

If you don't know, try the 32-bit version (which is most likely) and see what happens.  If this does not work or you have problems to run the programs, then try the 64-bit version and see if it works better.  I had much rather we use the correct version the first time, but if there is no way of knowing what it is, so give it a try.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.

That said, it seems that the license store is corrupt - so, try the following.

    (1) open an Internet Explorer window.
    (2) type: %windir%\system32 in the browser's address bar.
    (3) find the CMD.exe file
    (4) make a right click on CMD.exe and select "Run as Administrator"

    Hi @Vishalwagh123,

Welcome to HP's Forums a great way to get help. It's a great place to find answers and advice! Thanks for the post.

I understand you have questions turn on/off the device and you must press the power button several times for him to start. I'll be happy to help you.

Please try these steps first. Perform a hard reset.

    • Steps to do:
    • Turn off the computer and unplug the charger. Then remove the battery.
    • Press and hold the power button on the unit for 15 seconds to carry out the static electrical charges inside the machine.
    • Replace the battery and the charger plug it back. Try to turn on the computer.

If it fires up immediately the issue is resolved. Otherwise, try to turn on the computer without the battery and check that it works immediately.

In your message, you said that it works very well with the charger. However, I need more clarity here to help you better.

It works immediately when the adapter is connected and the power button is pushed only once?

If you again press the power button several times, it may be a faulty power button, and you will need to contact the hotline at the service of the unit.

Let me know what happens when you try to turn on the unit without the charger?

You must restore your registry to a point in time before that you have disabled the administrator user.  It is not easy if there is any left on the system administrator user.

One way to do this is to start your computer from a CD rescue-style such as BartPE and UBCD4Win or Linux Livecd such as Knoppix.  You can then follow the steps in the following article from part 2, step 6, using GUI to copy and rename the files rather than orders from command-line specified in article.
