• PS CC 2015 post question on Surface Pro 3

  I've just updated to the latest version of the Adobe CC apps (2015) and will have a display problem in Photoshop CC 2015.

  First: If I open PS CC 2015, I get an error that the display driver stopped responding and recovered (see screenshot below).

  Second: as you can see in the screenshot, the tools and menus are much bigger compared to the window of Dreamweaver CC 2015. Personally, I prefer the smaller UI elements as in DW CC 2015, so it is possible to switch PS to show things the same way?

  I'm more concerned about the currently display driver error.

  

  We did the failed display driver for a long time - and we are still working on getting it resolved with Intel and Ms.  Now, restart the computer, disconnect your keyboard and launch PS Rattachez the keyboard and these errors will probably disappear.  Please let me know if it works for you.

  Also on your second point, right now we only have two options for the scale of the user interface in the PS, 100% and 200%.  So if you think that 200% is too large, you can go to the preferences of the interface and change to 100% instead.  In the future, we would like to add support for 150% (which is probably the setting DW on your SP3), but is not available at this time.

• Photoshop on Surface Pro tablet UI changes

  I started using Photoshop with a pen on my Tablet Surface Pro 3. And I strongly suggest to make the user interface more useful with a pen only.

  First of all, please make sure the on-screen keyboard when initiated by a touch of stylus as usual keyboard with the keys. Not the one with attract entry which is useless in PS.

  Secondly, there is no Del button on the keyboard, but it is often not used the button. I can rearrange the keys to use the BACKSPACE or some other keys, but I would still like to see Del button somewhere.

  Thirdly, currently still small easy gestures on PC are difficult on the tablet. Draw something, ctrl + A, Del - and you have a blank sheet of paper again. And I just can't do these on Tablet without using the Select Menu. You could add button select all in the selection panel.

  Panel on the right door names near points, so I can't do really small.

  Also when the canvas by hand rotation, should be stick points to 0, 90, 180, 270 degrees.

• Surface Pro 3 pen / stylus don't work well in Illustrator, works fine in Photoshop

  I had CC on a Surface Pro 3 for two months now and I tried to solve the erratic behavior of the use of the pen to Surface in Illustrator. I checked the batteries (there are several batteries in the pen), making sure that they are installed correctly. I went into the settings win 8.1 and checked the pen to ensure the good functioning. This works fine in other applications; shoot well in Photoshop, fresh paint, one Note, etc..

  When you use the Brush tool to the pen in Illustrator, I am only able to draw all other lines. Sometimes it's once every third or fourth line. I need to greatly slow down to Illustrator to recognize, I draw, and even in this case, I'm not guaranteed that draws a line. This issue is not isolated to the Brush tool. Almost any action with the pen on canvas product at random (selections, join, etc.). It's not frustrating!

  Everyone knows underperformance of Surface pen in Illustrator?  If not, I guess I have a hardware problem, but it is strangely an app problem, see how the pen works very well in the rest of my apps.

  Monika deleted (uninstalled) the N-trig Wintab x 64 application/driver of the system and the question had re-solved.

  We would like to hear from everyone who is experiencing this problem, what happens when they follow the above step.

• Pen do not respond in Fresh Paint Microsoft Surface Pro

  I have a Microsoft pro surface.  Everything works fine except when I use the stylus in 'wet paint '.  The stylus work absolutely fine on all other programs.  However, when I try to paint in "Fresh paint", I have to press to be exceptionally difficult to get barely a brush stroke.  When I use my fingers, paint out of normal.  Y at - it a setting or something escapes me?  I wish I could use the precision of the stylus with this application, as it was one of the main reasons for the purchase of the Surface pro on something like an IPAD.

  I re - calibrate the pen.  However, stylus calibration only affects the calibration of the screen.  It does not affect the sensitivity to the actual pressure.  In addition, this problem is only located in the wet paint.  I even tried to reinstall the program.  Is this a known problem with fresh paint and pen input?

• Problems with the pen of the Surface Pro 3 in Photoshop CS6

  I used photoshop CS6 without any problem on my old computer that was connected to a graphics tablet.

  However, I recently bought a new computer windows called Surface Pro 3. Everything works perfectly with the trackpad and touch, but I had some problems with the pen of Surface.

  The feather can if support on the Web, but every time I click on something on any windows with the pen, the whole application hangs and I have to click on the task bar of the computer down to unlock the application.

  It is impossible to work like this. Is there a solution for this problem? It is said that the version of photoshop I have is Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.1.2

  If you have Photoshop CS6 version 13.1.2, which is the version of subscription to Photoshop, you shoule Isstall Photoshop CC 2014 on your surface Pro 3.  It will work smoothly on the surface Pro 3 and you will also have the option have to use Photoshop CC 2014 preference 2 x UI to Photoshop UI scaling upward in size on your Surface Pro 3.

  If you have not a subscription perpetual windows CS6 version should be version 13.0.1.3.  In this case the only way to scale Photoshop UI must have windows do. You need to update your registry windows 8.1 database and add an external Photoshop manifest file in your folder of Photoshop CS6.  For Surface Pro 3 pen to work with Photoshop, you must install the device drivers for the NTig the wintab API support pen.

• Installation on Surface Pro photo App question

  Hey guys & Gals,

  I have a Surface Pro running Windows 8. I can't find (on the Surface) or download the pre-installed camera App (from the store). When I search the Surface the App is not downloaded and when I go to the Store, the App are in the section "applications installed on this PC. Once I click in the App in the store, it always gives me the option to install the application. I select install and it never installs. Because I can't find it on the Surface I'm unable to uninstall and reinstall. I don't get an error message. The App says to install in the upper right corner of the Bank for 2-3 seconds before disappearing. I tried the following steps to try to resolve the problem:

  -tried to install it from the search option in the store, from Apps option installed in the store and Apps not installed on this PC. All installation options are available, but the application won't install,

  -J' ran WSRESET.

  -J' checked and confirm my region, the location settings and clock.

  -Have a MS on the Surface and the same account is registered in the store,

  -can download other applications,

  -The surface is completely up to date with all the latest updates,

  -Ran the App troubleshooting tool,

  -Licenses are synchronized,

  -Removed my account MS the http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=262691 cloud synchronization settings,

  -I am able to set up a second account 'Test' on the Surface and properly install the software on the VAC.

  -When I use my 'Test' account in the store on my main account, I am unable to download the app and I have the option to install all the time.

  I won't have to refresh/reset my Pro that I have installed programs that I don't want to lose or reinstall (product keys). The WSRESET tool resets the cache in the store. Is there a way to reset the cache local App that can solve this problem? It seems to me that the store and the Surface do not properly communicate with respect to this application, as we think it is downloaded and the other do not think it is downloaded. I have exhausted all my known troubleshooting steps and any help would be appreciated.

  I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing.

  As you said that you are able to install the application on the Test account, it seems that the main account is corrupted.

  I recommend you follow the steps below to solve the problem:

  Step 1:

  Activate the built Admin account. Follow these steps:

  a. press Windows key + X together on your desktop screen.

  b. click command prompt (admin).

  c. type: net user administrator /active: Yes

  Note: Please follow the same steps and type net user administrator /active: no to disable the administrator account after the diagnosis is made

  After activating the administrator built-in, please try the steps below:

  Step 2:

  The built in Administrator account to create a new user account and transfer the profile data.

  Please follow the steps below to do so:

  a. press Windows key + X set and select Windows Explorer.

  b. click on the view tab and click Options in the upper right.

  c. click on the view tab and then click on display the drives, folders and hidden files.

  d. uncheck the box which States thatHide protected operating system files.

  e. click Yes to confirm, and then click OK.

  f. look for the file C:\Users\Old_Username, where C is the drive on which Windows is installed, and the old username is the name of the profile you want to copy the files.

  g. Select all files and folders in this folder, except the following files:

  Ntuser.dat

  Ntuser.dat.log

  Ntuser.ini

  h. right click and select copy.

  i. find the C:\Users\New_Username folder, where C is the drive on which Windows is installed, and the new username is the name of the new user profile you created.

  j. right click in the folder and select Paste.

  k. restart your PC and check if you are able to connect to the default profile.

• Question Worksapce Touch on Surface Pro 3

  When my Surface Pro 3 is not docked without a keyboard and I turn to Touch workspace by clicking on the icon of the workspace Touch in the lower left, it goes however I can not switch back to the workspace without a touchscreen, nor do I close Lightroom.  My only option was to hit the Windows key on the surface material to switch on the start screen and reboot my device.  While in the dock with external display, keyboard, and mouse; I can switch to the workspace Touch then switch out of it by pressing ESC.  If I am connected to undocked while in the Lightroom Workspace touch it crashes and I have two of the background bars\menus, one inside and the other on a quarter of the way up from the bottom.  Return to the docking station while in this State puts everything in order and working again.  8.1 Windows is fully updated to this day with all the updates that are available through Windows Update.

  There is an 'X' button in the lower left of the touch interface.  It is next to the 'flag' and 'star' buttons.  You who push and it takes back you to the no touch interface.

• Surface Pro hangs after restart when MAC address has been spoofed. Why?

  After the usurpation of the MAC address of my 2 - day old Surface Pro, I press the power button. According to my power options, the computer goes to sleep. After awakening, the network adapter is disabled and 5 minutes later, I get a BSOD. The message is a bugcheck 0x9f DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE. Guilty drivers belong to the Marvell AVASTAR ngn350 card. Drivers have been updated to the latest 14.69.24019.88 but that did not help.

  If I remove the theft (by removing the contents of the registry key"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0012\NetworkAddress") the BSOD go away. They come back at the first sleep after spoofing. So, spoofing is clearly the problem.

  Am I missing any step for a successful spoof in Windows 8 (beyond just the registry hack)? Is there any other way to spoof?
