  I had CC on a Surface Pro 3 for two months now and I tried to solve the erratic behavior of the use of the pen to Surface in Illustrator. I checked the batteries (there are several batteries in the pen), making sure that they are installed correctly. I went into the settings win 8.1 and checked the pen to ensure the good functioning. This works fine in other applications; shoot well in Photoshop, fresh paint, one Note, etc..

  When you use the Brush tool to the pen in Illustrator, I am only able to draw all other lines. Sometimes it's once every third or fourth line. I need to greatly slow down to Illustrator to recognize, I draw, and even in this case, I'm not guaranteed that draws a line. This issue is not isolated to the Brush tool. Almost any action with the pen on canvas product at random (selections, join, etc.). It's not frustrating!

  Everyone knows underperformance of Surface pen in Illustrator?  If not, I guess I have a hardware problem, but it is strangely an app problem, see how the pen works very well in the rest of my apps.

  Thanks to Monika Gause all-day support extended. The Illustrator team really appreciate this.

  Monika deleted (uninstalled) the N-trig Wintab x 64 application/driver of the system and the question had re-solved.

  We would like to hear from everyone who is experiencing this problem, what happens when they follow the above step.

  I bought 3 Surface Pro because I know that there is a Windows 8 sticker on it that I assumed that there is a promise of the PC running Windows 8.0 without capacity problems. However, it cannot detect the touch screen and a Wifi adapter. I don't know there are drivers that support Windows 8.0 available. I can't find the Windows Update. I have to run Windows 8.0 specifically and I need drivers that support the rest of the hardware components. Help, please.

  I try to install more creative cloud on my Surface Pro 3 for the first time.  Many of the applications are installed correctly, but so far I am unable to install Dreamweaver CC (2014) and Media Encoder CC (2014).  Both applications indicate that "the Installation failed" and "download error. Press Retry to try again, or contact customer support. -(55)' in the details in the dialog box.

  Any ideas?  Where can I find the Setup log?

• Surface Pro wake from sleep

  I have a brand new Surface Pro with cover Type.  If I allow him to go to sleep, either by closing the lid or leave it empty, he's not waking up.  I experience the problem even if the device is plugged in or not.  It happens also with and without covering type.

  In order to get the Surface Pro to come back, I have to turn it off completely by holding down the power button.  Then he starts back and complain that a problem with Windows close unexpectedly.  Other that update applications 'Modern' in construction, Office 2013 and Microsoft Updates installation, no other changes have been made to the unit.  The device worked properly for about 2 days after the initial Setup, then this problem started to happen.

  Has anyone else seen this problem and find a resolution?

  I had exactly this problem on a 3 Surface Pro running Windows 10 build 10041. Has been fully reproducible. Close cover keyboard to release SP3 in mode 'sleep' and then it was impossible to wakes again. Windows button vibrated in a hurry but other than SP3 do not wake up. I tried everything, ranging from disable sleep mode connected to the power switch, Hibernate, turn but the problem remains. Very annoying.

  What solved it for me was to install the driver of Surface Pro 3 pack. You only need the Surface Pro pack driver 3 March 2015 (~ 150 MB) here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38826

  After installing this pack my SP3 wakes up from sleep again. Hope this helps some.

• Catalogue Lightroom damaged on Surface Pro 3

  I have recently bought a Surface Pro 3 for use on a trip and when I open a catalog LR CC 2015 can I edit pictures very well.  However, when I open the catalog even with my laptop or desktop, I get a corrupted file error message.  I run backups whenever I close lightroom and backup fine.  Is there a setting I'm missing on the Surface?  I keep the catalog and photos on an external drive, so I can carry around with me.

  How do eject you the disc? Lightroom may take a few minutes to completely shut down and if you're just the fact to unplug instead of ejection that could also cause corruption...

• (Surface Pro 2) Cannot perform updates

  I recently started my Surface Pro 2 for the first time in a while, and he started to be updated on what I guess was Windows 8.1. However, towards the end, updates failed and I have now the following message appears:

  Do not turn off your computer

  There is no error code, and I guess I fell on the same question that most of the others seem to have had before. I can't do a boot image, my laptop runs windows 7, making it impossible for me to boot into recovery mode. And because I can't get to the desktop, I can't restart and refresh.

  I'd appreciate any help, I like the product and want to continue using it.

  2 Surface Pro looks really promising as a system of support rather than a main workstation. It's a good solution to review shots on the plateau, but to make any serious changes or composition, you will need a more substantial machine. I can't even imagine the amount of time it would take to export a HD in Ae or Pr using this machine. You can probably use other tools of the CC quite comfortably well. Run Ps or AI to a portable, lightweight device like this sounds killer for me (if you invest in a mouse and a keyboard).
