Contracts of mobile content of picture to header div

Hi, I am using DW CS6 on a Mac. I set myself a media query and a mobile.css page and this site works pretty well on the iPhone.  But I suspect that the header photo is too large for the content div is not stretch 95% as it should.

Http://www.larryparrishpiano.com/mobile.CSS

I tried just to have a resized small photo and what to put in the CSS page, but that has not worked.

I appreciate advice on how to fix this if possible.

Thank you very much

Frank B.

You can crop your header image to just hold Larry Parrish and replace the CSS for mobile header CSS background?

. Container #header {}
height: 80px;
Width: 100%;
background - image: URL(Larryheader3-Resized.png);
background-repeat: repeat no.;
background-position: top-left;
background-color: #000;

Regarding the region of #left, your width is set to 70% in main CSS. Your Mobile CSS width for #left, make 95% and add! important to your setting.

  • Navigation getting to be in the header DIV

    Hello

    I'm still learning CSS and have tried everything I know, but I can't get the left navigation 'home' to sit until the left side of my header div.

    I tried to remove the padding/margin, create a separate category for other links to space out them. (link below)

    It's probably something simple, any suggestions much appreciated.

    Hello

    Try this:

    #header ul {}
    list-style-type: none;
    padding-left: 0px;
    }

    #header ul li {}
    display: inline;
    }

    You can add good padding on each element of the list of space a little more!

  • Mobile content is pressed onto iphone

    Hello

    I'm on DW CS6 on an iMac. It is a separate issue semi related to a previous post. I have set up a media (800 px-form max) for mobile device management and query on my ipad, my site seems pretty good. The window of content and navigation extend overall fairly evenly with a thin space on each side - is not perfect, but overall, pretty even.

    On my iphone, these provisions appear to be truncated by a right side margin - but little matter I have (same layout right margin to '0'), cannot do the sections of navigation and content to balance and stretch out across the screen to the right at all.

    There was a way I kind of got to work but it was unusable - by setting the margin on the right '-8% ', I got these sections to finally lay across the screen.  But which ruins the rendering of the things ipad.

    Here's the dilemma and almost a trick question: If the ipad and iphone are affected the same way by the Mobile.css file set up by request, they are, so why these sections stretch across the screen evenly on the ipad and not the iphone?

    http://www.frankbright.com/mobile.CSS

    I tend to think it's a problem to navigation because whenever I get some results however little - the "content" section grows and stretches at the same time.

    Update: I put on the main model, content to sit to the right. But on the ipad, the content is more focused and that's how it should be on the iphone as well.

    I appreciate help or advice on this.

    Thank you very much

    Frank B.

    The problem with the right margin is caused by FrankLogo.png, which is too big for the small screen.

    Remove the attributes width and height of the HTML and add style to your mobile.css:

    #Logo img {}

    Max-width: 100%;

    }

    A customer sent an Illustrator EPS file containing me what he would like me to rework. I don't work in Illustrator, but CS4 INDD. Not wanting to look like a clod I downloaded the free trial of Illustrator, thought it would be a nod to copy/paste the contents of the doc of the Illustrator and begin my work. Nothing to do with the trial version. The free trial is over.

    Open the file in Illustrator.

    Click on file / print this page. All this should get an area of selection around it.

    Navigate to the object-> separate. Now select the individual pix and follow the steps in my previous post.

    If does not dissociate (you may need to do several times to drill down to the individual pix), try one of the following:

    1 / object-> Expand. Follow-up of the Ungroup command

    or

    2 / use the white arrow (under the black arrow) to clcik on the pix directly and then do the editing-> copy

    Hi thanks for reading this.

    Just trying to do a very simple solution for e-mail mobile html

    What do you think of this idea?

    This is the html email, a web page specially formatted for sending mail electronic html, what I send.

    at the top of the html email, you see there is a link, "mobile."

    If the person becomes their email on a phone, and if they click on the link 'Mobile', which would lead to a page specially formatted Web (very narrow)

    Who will work for a mobile phone?

    What do you think? Any ideas? Suggestion?

    Thanks for any thots on it.

    Warmly, hope

  • Starling for mobile content framework

    Hi guys.

    Just been checking the new framwwork to harness the power of the GPU via stage3D.

    I was wondering if anyone of you guys know of any great tutorials or are still free "comp" a few things.

    Seem to be a few people out there. I want to say wise NOT only your run of the mill programmer games that don't really know how to make games.

    If you know how to code an application there not much difference in creating a game as an application complex. Some of the terminology and approaches which may differ in a very subtle way, but ultimately, they are the same. It can still be done in a traditional MVC model.

    Once you understand that by using the GPU means that you use coding work that some of the flash classes integrated allowing to do for you, the rest is pretty easy. There is not much built in API for you to use standard flash classes, such as a MovieClip. If you want to animate an element you must learn to use the sprite sheets and manually create animations. There are a lot of utils (http://www.texturepacker.com/) to help you make sprite sheets. Here's a Starling on video (http://gotoandlearn.com/play.php?id=147) that uses this util that shows you the basic process.

    While it takes a lot more code to do apparently much less, Starling does not resemble the display list and a lot of the way in which flash already works to bridge the gap. The advantage is a huge increase in performance on mobile and desktop devices. But if you don't know how to make even a single application, you have a lot more to learn than the Starling. Especially if you plan to target mobile devices.

  • Header / Div

    Hello

    I do a site requiring to have a header and a footer extended to adapt to the ViewScreen.

    While I managed to have my background, my head is a little more complicated, because the image is a gradient of color, on the left, I need to expand on the right, a dark blue and white.

    Any idea? I tried to create 1 file for part thast needs to be extended. but it gave rise to an eyeache...

    Thx for any idea.

    Chorale0001 wrote:

    What is the command? How can I do? I do 2 small file of white and dark blue? How can I do?

    No, just to extend the white area and the black area in the image to in order to have a single larger image. At one end will be a lot of white and the other a lot of black. Then, just Center the image in the browser window. If the user then enlarges the display window, they see black and white space. The part of the image in the middle (which can be extended if not to skew) remains at the centre of the browser window.

    You must of course use this as a background attached to a picture oftag via css or attached to a

    Via css.

    To be honest, you can also simply extend the double line that is under the image on the left and right as well rather than apply it so the two borders as I suggested in my first post.

    This solution will work for you?

    Similarly, when a resizing in browser, everything seems correct, EXCEPT then menu items do not display in the menu (believe, because the menu isn't 'falling' as it should.?)

    Everything seems to work fine, just can't get the submenu (s) answer (to get high), stuck in the view browser full, low, (no contracts), and resized to display mobile browser, the tilt Menu shows, but does not reveal the menu items you.

  • Muse "Content" feature without the publication for mobile android chrome

    My company site Muse painfully simple - www.efsmart.com--est published on my server for desktop and phone.

    I've experimented with content based on marking [window > content] to synchronize the simple content between and telephone Office.

    It loads fine on the desktop, but I get the message on my browser chrome android [left image]:

    Two screen captures.png

    After clicking on OK, loading the page in basic HTML left [see the text in the above image behind the error window]. I deleted the cache of the browser mobile, re-uploaded and received the same error message. I deleted the content feature of marking on the mobile page [not on the Office page]re-uploaded, and it loads correctly in my mobile browser [right picture]. It always seems OK on my desk [Mac OS, Chrome].

    Any idea what's going on? Is a useful feature if it worked correctly.

    Unrelated with the mistake of warning we discussed, your desktop homepage is much broader than you planned due to there being an empty text frame far right of the page (almost in front of the "recent projects" section). If you find and delete this empty text in Muse design block you will not get a scroll bar horizontal in the browser when the browser window is 960px or wider.

    Your site is loading correctly for me on the phone and the desktop computer.

    It seems that your host has configured the site to treat 404 requests (URLS for files that do not exist) to redirect the request to your home page. I think this redirect is what is in conflict with the loading himself drumming homepage and find its associated files (index.css, etc.). Your site seems to work fine when a URL is entered, but if something as efsmart.com/foo/bar entered the site visitor is presented with a version not formatted to your homepage and the warning message. It's a problem with how the Organization treats 404 (file not found) errors.

    If you share this information with Pair.com they can immediately understand and be able to help to change the configuration of your site to avoid the problem. If they do not immediately understand, you can have them send me an e-mail at [email protected] with a link to this forum for the background thread and let's talk technobabble directly rather than put you in the middle. ;^)

  • Block of text that can dilate or contract contain content provided by data fusion

    I'm designing a document for use with the data merge. One of the fields over a background apears dark. I'll make the text box white with black letters. The text data merge will engaged in this framework is highly variable - on some pages, it is only one or two characters, on the other is a long string of 3/4 ".

    Is there a way to make this framework automatically expand and contract to fit the length of the string?

    Until CS6, the answer would certainly not when you use the data merge, but there are small new features that extend the text blocks and contracts contain the content. Have not tried it myself and have not heard of someone trying with data merge, but if you have CS6, you have a gold opportuninty to try it and be a pioneer.
