  Hello:

  There are a few things that should be addressed.  First of all, noting that the installed driver is a different model of the instrument being used wasa GREAT omission of information about your problem.  Even if ot has nothing explicitly to do with the code you have presented, it means that, perhaps, this code was written with the wrong instrument in mind...

  I strongly suggest you read the guide of the programmer for this instrument before proceeding further.  He will tell you no doubt exactly what you need to know.

  I write software where I test 58 orders at 35 different States (decimal 0 to 34 decimal).  Instead of writing the commands to set the State the value of the port over and over again for each switch, is possible to use a loop for change the decimal value (0) in the sub section of code 1, 2, 3 and so on?  I have not found any means to insert a variable evolution in a command of the SCPI.

  You must have the String.Format function inside the loop for because for now, it just writes the string once and then the loop it does not change the string at all. It is more what you are looking for.

  I'm working on a project of activation of the electrode, here, I thought that how could I order an electrode in a time and generate a digital output of it accordingly. I want to replace it with each electrode with a LED on the front panel and generate a numerical value to each LED on the block diagram.

  I have a very simple question, but so far I have not found an answer by myself.

  If all you want to do is force the collection of host configuration, you can easily do it through the user interface. Since the host Host Configuration page-> last collected. In the menu actions, select Refresh. This performs all configuration immediately collections and downloads it to the repository. It will immediately appear in the user interface.

  You can also do this for 1 or several hosts at once by going to the company-> Configuration-> host to refresh Configuration...

  No need to mess with the agent...

  How can I control filter execution? I want to assure you that my filter can be 1 to run same event among a few filters filter (type).

  loadOrder IS the order of execution. If several components hook in the same event of filter, "any custom code to this event will be executed according to the + loadOrder + in the pane.» (as cited in the book of Bex on page 198).

  Looking at the docs you provided, this command is listed under conventional controls not supported by 2900. So I guess this function is not supported.  If equivalent command exists, you will need to find in the documentation that you have provided.  You may need to experiment a little.

  Hi MimiKL,

  As Dennis said, instruments are designed to work with the SCPI commands or not. If the user guide does not indicate the device meets SCPI and SCPI commands will not work.

  The wizard of the driver simply generates a number of screws that will send the standard commands of the SCPI compliant instrument of the SCPI. Depending on how you communicate with the instrument (bus), you may need to change these screws subtly to work with different instruments. But, as mentioned, if the device you are trying to contact is not in line with SCPI then this is never going to work. Later, when you use the Assistant driver, all the subVIs generated will be have comments in them tell you exactly what to replace and change to get the driver working for your instrument.

  If your device is not in line with SCPI and you have a dll that works then you should continue to use it.

  I just installed an ASA with an AIP-SSM-20 version 5.1. I have several subinterfaces on Physics G0/0, which is be the control on the SPI interface. However, when I try to add this interface as interface monitors, I get "error: Interface GigabitEthernet0/0 is already assigned as an interface of promicuous, as part of a pair of inline or is the control interface.» What does that mean? I have configured my ASA to send traffic out a subinterface G0/0, but I don't see any indication that it works.

  The confusion here is that there are 2 interfaces GigabitEthernet0/0.

  The ASA has a GigabitEthernet0/0 and the SSM has completely separated GigabitEthernet0/0.

  GigabitEthernet0/0 of the SSM is the external interface of the SSM itself map. That's where command and control IP of the SSM is assigned. DFS cannot monitor this interface.

  GigabitEthernet0/0 of the SAA is you have subinterfaces on.

  Here are 2 separate interfaces.

  You cannot add Gig of the SSM 0/0 to a sensor virtual because the sensor is not able to control it is command and control external interface.

  You cannot add Gig of the ASA 0/0 with a virtual sensor because you can't add ASA ALL interface to a virtual sensor. This is how you configure not followed to the SSM.

  The only ONE that can be monitored by the SSM is Gig 0/1 interface of the SSM.

  BUT as you cannot confuse the SSM Gig Gig of the ASA and 0/0 0/0. You must also not confuse Gig of the SSM Gig of the ASA and 0/1 0/1.

  Concert of the SAA 0/1 is the second external port of the SAA itself.

  By placing the SSM 0/1 Gig in virtual sensor that you say the SSM to monitor all Gig of the SSM 0/1 packages that are coming from the ASA backplane.

  To monitor traffic, you need to configure ASA to send packets to the SSM to montioring (aka send them at the bottom of the basket of the ASA so then Gig0/1 of DFS will see them.

  Then, how send you traffic to the ASA to the SSM?

  Through policies.

  You create a class, and in the policy of this class, you use one of the following configuration lines.

  IPS inline

  or

  IPS promiscuity

  You then apply the policy at the global level for the whole of the ASA context, or more specifically to one or more interfaces (or subinterfaces) ASA context.

  Do you really mean the DSO7034B? If so, there are drivers available for LabVIEW and other programming environments. I suggest you only start with one of these. Check your manual to become familiar with the controls.

But I need to control the intensifier with Labview as I do with my camera. can tell me what additional configuration is required to control the instruments of RS - 232 with LabView, I know that I can use Visa series read and write, but I need special SCPI commands? do I need a data acquisition card?

  usually, the manual of the device should indicate the command arguments to be sent to the serial port (if any). Have you checked the documentation? Simply a RS232 cable and the appropriate command format to communicate.

  I'm trying to control a power E3647A using cRIO 9074 and NI 9870 FPGA mode.

  When I send SCPI commands like APPLY, SYSTEM: REMOTE, INST:NSEL 1 | 2, EXIT IT. OFF, * first, * TST?, runs them the power supply (I can see in the display of power). But when I use any query as command * IDN, APPLY? I read whatever it is.

  I tried to use the E364xA but does not work, I have changed the power supply to the other and the same thing happens.

  I need to read the query commands. some body help me.

  I solved the problem.

  The NI9870 doesn't use DTR/DSR (only RTS/CTS) flow control and the E3647A use DTR/DSR.

  It must be done via i/o property node state of DTR FPGA programmable as stated.

• How is it possible to copy a Web page that doesn't let me highlight, i.e. use the features main c control?

  How can I take a picture on a Web page that don't let me use the control C copy command? In other words, on this particular website, I try to highlight a passage I want to register and put in a document, but the highlighting will not work. I asked on this subject, and they simply said that they did not have this facility, but I think that the issue is to protect their copyrighted material. I know there is a way to take a picture of the page, and then I can use my photo editing software to crop and enlarge.

  It is an online publication which, AFAIK, is not in a pdf format. Finally, I found that this really works on my laptop was to hold down the Fn (function) key and press control and print screen at the same time. Which records an image of the page in a temporary storage. I can then use Ctrl-V to paste a picture of the page into a word-processing document. Seems to work very well. And I can use scale font size on the bottom of my Microsoft Word page to enlarge for better readability.
