Find the details / specifications of the computer.  Find a person or a place you can then download the required drivers for the missing persons and 'download '.  Then, create a CD or store them on a USB key.  Then, put the CD / USB stick in the "problematic" computer then start install drivers.  A quick list of the driver:

    Computer / motherboard chipset drivers

    Ethernet card drivers

These should be the 'minimum' necessary drivers to get your computer to re - connect to the Internet and then you can fill in the rest

  • No driver for my multimedia audio controller.

Yesterday, I moved my computer and now I have no sound!  When you open Device Manager, I see that my multimedia controller has a yellow exclamation point, but cannot find the correct driver for it!  D: my computer is a Dimension 2400 and I am running XP, Service Pack 3.  The constructor for my sound card is 'UNKNOWN', because I'd crack rather not my case open to discover.  I went through a countless amount of posts on this comm of people with similar problems, but their solutions have not worked for me.  Can anyone help?

    Thank you very much!

    Mae

The controller audio as part of your "sound card".  If you have the standard audio (on the motherboard and the speaker connection is on the Panel/o motherboard) you have the audio Analog Devices.  If you have a soundcard in option - the speaker will be on a card in the expansion area of I/O of the computer, if you have moved the PC this sound card may need to put it back.  That the movement of the PC would not affect the audio standard integrated (on the motherboard).  However, if there is rough manipulation of soundcards PCI tower could have loosened.

Reinstall it if you have the option of the sound card, as indicated and see if that fixes it.  Reinstall - with the PC off, open the case and remove the sound card and reseat the card, ensuring that it is fully and correctly positioned.  If you do not open the case and work on it, yourself, you must take it to a PC store (or call a technician who makes calls home).

Usually, if you get the number of the audio controller multimedia, just reinstall the audio drivers fix it.

Here is the Dell downloads for the 2400, if you lost the Dell disks with the drivers on them.

  • software driver for multimedia audio controller

I need software driver for my multimedia audio controller

When I try to install the driver it says that there is no software available

    Hello

    1. have you downloaded the driver to install?
    2. who is the manufacturer of the system?

Many users corrected this problem by downloading the Windows 7 compatible audio driver on the computer. We recommend to visit the Web site of the manufacturer of the system, downloading the audio driver and install it.

If you do not find the Windows 7 compatible driver, and then download the Vista compatible driver and install it in Vista compatibility mode. To do this, try the following steps.
    1. open the program compatibility problems by clicking on the Start button, then Control Panel.
    2. in the search box, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under programs, click on run programs for previous versions of Windows.
    3. Select Windows Vista and follow the instructions on the resolution of the problems to install the game.

For more information about executing a program in compatibility mode, see the following links.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

You can also search the optional updates in Windows check if there is an update available for the audio controller multimedia.
    1. open Windows Update (click the Start button, click all programs and then click Windows Update).
    2. in the left pane, click search for updates, and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your PC.
    3. If updates are found, click on view available updates.
    4. Select the optional updates that you want, and then click on install. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

  • Pavilion Dv4000: Windows 7 wireless driver help!

Guys, I really need your figureing helps it to...

My friends machine needed some TLC... so I formatted and reinstalled the Windows 7 operating system.

I went to the HP support for pilots page and there are only drivers XP Win.

In "Device Manager", it shows the following drivers requiring.

    Mass storage controller
    Multimedia Audio Controller
    Network controller
    Video controller

    The problem...

I simply can't the wireless to work for love nor money!

I downloaded and installed (a) different drivers for the wireless device. When they have been installed successfully, I'm supposed to be able to see a network to connect to diffuse all SSID wireless & Pick-up. I could not make it work! It worked once then stopped working again after it restarts as if this isn't retatining the driver for the wireless card. its really weird!

    Performed troubleshooting.

    • Downloaded the drivers for the wireless card and run them in compatibility mode (Win XP SP3) & installed.
    • Rebooted the machine. and the Wi - fi icon beside the clock has a red x through it, as it that the device is not enabled.
    • verified that the wifi was enabled. (what it was)
    • check that the pilot has been allowed within 'Device Manager' (it's still) drivers Displaying the "Intel 2200BG.
    • but still the Wifi symbol in the taskbar shows Red Cross or disabled marker on it.
    • Tried to install other Wifi drivers for the device of Intel 2200BG from other sites, including Intel. Restart, charges the driver installation (after removing the previous version) still nothing! same thing!
    • Tried to use the Intel utility to find the update and install the Wireless driver. (again same result).

It seems that Windows 7 accepts the driver Intel Pro / Wireless 2200BG, but somehow somewhere to turn off the device in Windows 7.  How does it can disable a device but see that the device is installed and works unless you are a doubtful driver?

Somehow, I managed to make it work for a while and connected to my wireless router. not a problem, then once the machine has been rebooted im at square one again!

thinking that might be something wrong with the registry systems or material etc... I then

    • Formatted the hard drive again for the 2nd time.
    • Re-installed the card WiFi on the laptop, checked the connections were seated correctly
    • re-installed the operating system Windows 7 again.
    • before applying any other drivers on the system I tried to reinstall the driver from the HP website (just to remove it may be a conflict driver with another thing. yet once always the same thing.

I spent hours on it now... and im at the point where I'm ready to run my friends laptop out the window and get extremely violent with her! I never met this before all the time, I played with computers. so I need someone to point out where im going wrong here. It's seriously making me crazy!

I have attached a picture of this post, I hope that's clear enough for you to see that bar Wi - Fi symbol and the pilot agreed to "Device Manager".

If anyone knows what drivers I can use for the rest of the devices, Audio, video (especially video and Wifi) and mass storage device would be much appreciated. There is still plenty of life in the old courbine of a machine and will make my boyfriend a good turn.
    • Someone please enlighten us on that until I lose the will to live!
    • Thanks in advance.

      Street

    You are the very welcome.

I see that the multimedia audio controller device has been installed and that means you should have sound there.

I already give you the driver for the mass storage controller (this is the card reader).

    Yes this is useful.

The graphics in this model is not quite able to market Vista or W7.  Quite capable, I mean he can't run Windows Aero.

There is that one driver in the world that has any chance of working for the graphics, it's this one... After installing this driver, you will be able to change the screen resolution and graphics acceleration is enabled.

    You must install it manually.

Download and run this driver.  You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

    http://h20565.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=447304 & swItemId = ob_47264_1 & swEnvOid = 2096

    Conclusion of any windows error.

Go to Device Manager and click on the video controller requiring driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34749.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

Reboot and the graphics should work just fine, but not Aero.

  • Satellite Pro M10: missing a lot of pilots

I got an error message when I tried to play a DVD using powerdvd, and he asked me to change the resolution.

When I went to do this I had many choices in what I could change.

I also saw that "Default Monitor" was all that appeared so I thought that I would check the Device Manager to see what rose with my drivers.

in any case in the Device Manager, I have
    -base system device
    -base system device
    -ethernet controller
    -multimedia audio controller
    -modem pci
    -sm bus controller
    -video controller
    -video controller (vga compatible)

all these answers are listed under "other devices" and have the symbol of yellow error next to them.

in any case the first thing I tried to update the drivers on the video controller and vga, dloaded the drivers from the toshiba site after choosing which model and operating system, and then when I run the installation of the file from the extracted files, after a reboot, I have always the same yellow error symbols.

also when I try to tell the Hardware Wizard where locate (this case in the folder I extracted that) it says that it cannot find the software.

    any help?

I have to do in these in a certain order so that they can work properly? or what am I doing wrong, ideally I would get all of the components listed running with the right drivers for any information will be appreciated.

Disk Management displays the HARD drive as an unknown partition recovery partition and I am not able to access. The research I've done, it seems that he is allowed to install windows manually but I'm not sure that drivers Device Manager displays as needed. I know that there is a sticker on the laptop that says he uses Atheros wi - fi. The Toshiba site has so many downloads, even after I refine your search, I'm still confused.
