Conversion of color channel

Each color in a value of Pixel Bender channel pixelx (or floatx) has 32-bit? Or is - this figure at 32 bits, 8 bits per channel? (When used in Flash).

Thank you!

According to Tinic in Flash, Pixel Bender is processed in 32-bpc. Bitmaps in Flash is stored as 8-bit with Alpha multiplied pre ARGB. Conversion from 8 bit is made on the way in and out. So with FP 10, there will be a reconversion to 8bpc between two shaders and it might be better to combine them according to what you are doing.

  • How separate and recombine color channels?

I want to separate my picture in the primary color channels change them individually and then recombine them, so that the parts of the undedited remain faithful to the original.

I can come close.  My best effort has been to use the photo filter to create 3 layers red, green and blue with a density of 100% real, and then I can recombine using the screen blend mode.  But the colors are not quite true.

With the help of histograms, it doesn't seem like I'm really able to create real RGB layers.  Even if I did, I'm not convinced screen mixture will merge their return to the original properly.

Can someone point me in a successful direction?  I searched, but I do not know what terms to use.  Thanks a ton.  BTW, I use PSE 9.

I only did a quick test, so I don't know for sure if that's what you want, but...

I created three layers by copying the full color image can "improve". Adjust lighting | levels... "on one layer at a time (that is, ensuring that a single layer is visible). I changed the levels out of two of the colors of "0 to 255" "0 to 0"... e.g. red + blue on a single layer, leaving the green channel visible, then blue + green on another layer, leaving the Red layer... defining each layer having a screen blend and all visible layers showed me the original color image.

It was with PSE8... that's what you were missing?

  • Rendering of a PF_EffectWorld color channels?

    Hello

I turn the input layer with the function transform_world, resizing of the image and much buffer. But, how display only one channel at a time? I mean channels either R, G, B or has, but not the whole picture. I know not how using subpixel sampling, but I really want to know how to do without it.

    Thank you!

    subpixel sampling?

you could poke some eyes with...

perhaps mean you the rest of the iteration?

Anyway, I don't know any operation in the EI API that handles only specific channels.

to display a single channel, or filter your prior transformation of entry.

    or your output after transformation.

I see a few ways to do this.

    1. use the suites for the iteration.

These will provide you with each pixel in the input and output buffers,

and all you have to do is:

    Output-> alpha = inP-> alpha;

    Output-> red = 0;

    Output-> Green = 0;

    Output-> blue = inP-> blue;

and viola! you have removed the red and green channels. (no subpixel sampling here)

the benefits of using this method, it is the it is multithreaded and easy to manage. It can also replace the buffers of intermediate copies in the output (or input of intermediaries).

disadvantages: it manages all channels, so it is useless.

    2. do it yourself approach.

get the base address of the world you want to filter and browse the world yourself.

This way you can get the PF_Plane for the channels that you want to assign, and then go directly to the correct place in the memory for this channel,

    completely avoid the other channels.

benefits: is the way the less wasteful and more customizable.

disadvantages: good luck for this to be multi-threaded.

    3. the approach to composition.

to display only the Red layer, create a new world and fill it in red.

composite using of composite_rect and the transfer mode "multiply".

    that will remove other colors.

    4. the approach of someone ' else-a-problem.

If you use smartFX, you can tell AE what channels to use.

Æ know the result of the other channels.

I've never used, so I don't know if you will only get what you want, or you will get the original entry for unused channels.

personally, I'd go with the rest of the iteration.

  • Using the library of Conversion CAN channel frame with arxml-files?

We use LabVIEW and the library of Conversion CAN frame channel to measure and display the CAN the .dbc file-based channels.

Now the OEM changed the file format of .dbc to AUTOSAR XML (.arxml) and we will not have a .dbc file.

Is it possible to read files in NI-CAN .arxml or convert format .dbc?

    Hi Ludwig72,

Unfortunately the NI-CAN just supports the .dbc and .nbc files. If you convert the .dbc .arxml, this should work, or if there is no option to switch to the NOR-XNET driver, it would be possible to import .xml files.

Just in case you have this ability, here is the link to the latest version of the driver NOR-XNET:

    http://Joule.NI.com/nidu/CDs/view/p/ID/3757/lang/de

You should check, if your hardware, software and operating system is supported by this version in the manuals.

  • CAN frame channel Conversion Library - add new channel will not convert on channel

I hit a roadblock with the Conversion CAN frame v1.0.2 channel library.  I don't think I properly use the 'Add New Channel' vi because it always causes the frame on the canal to fail.  The channel to the conversion of image works fine.  I joined the Panel front and a simple example block diagram.  This VI returns the following error during the conversion of the chassis on the channel:

Error 8702 is produced to convert image to Channel.vi

    Possible reasons:

A call to the library met with a null pointer.
Ensure that all entries in the VI have a valid value.
In the case of tables, make sure the table is not empty.

    Any help would be appreciated!

This issue is resolved by upgrading to the Conversion CAN Frame Channel 1.0.3 library and place the frchconvlib.dll file in the C:\Windows\system32 directory.

  • Mix colors Pantone - like CMYK channels?

    Hey everybody,

I just registered on the forum and had a look. Hello to all and I'm happy forums like this are around!

So, my question is I hope that whoever is possible. I looked away but can't find no difinitive answer or maybe I did not write the question right but that's...

What I want to do [in photoshop], treat 4 colors pantone CMYK channels. I mean by I would like to replace the Cyan, Magenta, yellow and black with my own colors [pantone colors] and ask them mix and act exactly like these channels. As when I open a full color image and my pantone [or any color] channels or color profile is activated, the full color image will react to these colors [with the mixture of colors].

Instead of 45% yellow Cyan, 55% Magenta, 83% and 2% black in a given location, it would be a mixture of the 4 colors chosen [example: 45% pantone A, 55% Pantone B, 83% Pantone C, 2% Pantone D].

or to say it another way, if I was to color the background in, say, a blue, I would be able to use the "Info" Panel to see how each pantone color was mixed to create this color. Of course, there would be a limit to the colors that I could create based on the pantone colors, that I select.

I don't want to do anything with this printing technique. I'm looking to him only as a spectator to the screen, or maybe use it in a certain way for screen printing.

Anyone have any ideas on how to achieve this?

    Thanks in advance.

How about using outdated color management settings, pre-profil CCI?

Enter your color schemes, and select Custom CMYK as your working CMYK space. Under the colors of ink, select custom, defined the four colors by the eye and check the estimate overprints. It won't be very accurate and it would be certainly better done using color profiles, but I suppose you expect not much accuracy. And don't forget to change your settings back to something more appropriate for litho printing, if you don't have any.

  • Why "color LCD and conversion management" seem to be defective?

    Why? How to fix?

    https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_9SWxd5fwL34/Tc5qF-VGCRI/AAAAAAAAA5s/AGHDwwose14/Photoshop%20Problem.png

'Conversion and color LCD management' is apparently the associated (through the operating system) with your monitor profile.

The error message is that the color profile named "conversion and color LCD management" likely is really defective.  Profiles are complex things and are not always properly designed.  This problem is surprisingly common.

    • Click Start, then in the search box, type color management .
    • When color management is displayed, click it.
    • Click on the devices tab to view or edit this profile is associated with your monitor.

How did you end up with this profile associated with your monitor?  The default value for windows is to use sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1.

  • Layer mask changes the colors

    Hey!

    If I have

    • Start a new file in Photoshop in RGB Mode
    • Create a new layer and fill it with RGB = (8,8,8)
    • Add a mask
    • Copy the (8,8,8) color (strg + a, Ctrl + c), then paste it into the mask layer (alt + click, Ctrl + v)

What I get is not a - plain - color (8,8,8) in the mask, but a picture raster with (7,7,7) and (9,9,9).

Can someone explain this strange behavior for me? It's just a bug in my version (CS6 13.0.1)?

    Bonus question:

    • In view of this strange behavior: How can I turn a picture exactly in a mask layer?

This is how Photoshop. RGB to copy then paste into a single channel, for example, a mask or alpha channel will involve conversion of document RGB profile in grayscale, working space profile (as defined in Edit > color settings).

If a doc has sRGB profile and grayscale working space is sGray, or doc a profile Adobe RGB and grayscale working space is Gamma 2.2, gray values RGB will be then copy and paste into a mask without changing the value.

In any case, if you copy a single color channel, say R, then that can be pasted into a mask and values will not change.

  • First HP: Change the background color of a cell in the spreadsheet app (program)

I created a very simple program to change the background color of two cells in the speradsheet application:

    First version of HP 2015 6 17. 8151 Rev

    1. EXPORT BGCOLORCHANGE()

    2. START TO

3 STARTAPP("Spreadsheet");    Application of the open worksheet

4 STARTVIEW (2,3);    in the symbolic view

    5 Cell (1,1,7): = RGB (0,255,0);    cell A1 green paint

    6 cell (1,2,7): = 31744;    red paint A2 cell

    7. END;

PROBLEM: instruction 6 works, but section 5 only. Why?

    Thank you!

The background color of worksheet uses 5 bits per color channel, then the function RGB() expects 8 bits per channel.

    The background color of worksheet can be calculated by: R * 32 ^ 2 + G * 32 + B where R, G and B are between 0 and 31 inclusive.

    Hello!

I use Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Release 2 for the test on Toshiba Satellite L300.

  • Composite color red-green

    Hello!

Is it possible to get the Red-cyan color channels two almost the same images? Almost the same means now, I did the photos from an object with two cameras in two different places, and I want to show the difference between them in the Red-cyan color (it's like 3D Anaglyph images). I found that this picture is also called composite color. No idea how I can that depict in LabVIEW? Thank you!

    gbbalint

    Hi BBalint!

Here is an example of extracting plan available directly for the IMAQ utility color palette color. If the image is 32 bit RGB, individual channels are returned as 8-bit grayscale.

To create Anaglyph, you will need to:

    • Align the two images corectly
    • Use you red plane of the image on the left with both blue and green of the image on the right.

    Good luck with your application.
