Conversion of Mac Word etc.

I have ADOBE 10.1.9 - I would like to convert files PDF to Word Mac & PPt - which product do I need?

Reader 11.0.6 http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

and ExportPDF https://www.acrobat.com/exportpdf/en/convert-pdf-to-word.html

Acrobat Pro http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=acrobat_pro or

Windows or Mac is not serious... a docx file is a docx file is a docx file... even with Excel or PowerPoint.

    You need to restart for the change to take effect.

    You should be able to use the options save as from the main menu to save the file as a Word document.

  • Photosmart C6180 / Mac / Word - trouble printing on paper by a line

    I made it every Christmas for years - print a newsletter on paper by a line purchased in-store. Always worked well, until this year. Paper this year has a darker border than in previous years. The printer offsets the output to the bottom of the page that is equal to the dark border (as its only records the leading edge of the page when he sees the light of colorful paper). Everything works fine when I print the white paper - i.e., no offset to the bottom of the printed output.

    Any thoughts on how to solve this problem? So far, I have lost about 15 leaves try different settings in Word.

    I just bought a Mac and I am far too busy to re-create all my site definitions, etc.  Someone has any advice on how to make this transition smooth and fast that it is humanly possible?

    I think what you mean is that you should repoint each site definition in the root folder local on the Mac (i.e., where you have placed the web files themselves), right?  Thanks for pointing out that - I overlooked that my 3 step process!

  • Conversion of MS Word documents with bacgrounds colors in pdf format

    Forgive an Acrobat "dope", but externally, this seems to be a simple problem... I can not understand!

    For work, I use Microsoft Office Word 2003 (MS Office Pro 2003) and Acrobat 8 Pro.  I have no problem to convert an MS Word doc, with the foreground, images or text, or PDF.  However, if I give any MS Word doc, a backgroundcolor, using the Format Menu > background > and then selecting a color, the color is not everywhere in the conversion to PDF-, I find myself with a standard white page, instead of color!

    Where I'm going wrong?  Or is this something color background that Acrobat cannot convert, whatever I do?  I do wish to produce an effect of 'Nick' by placing a color image behind the text (which I know will work) because the size pdf files become larger I want.  I want to 'color paper' using menu of MS Word and convert it to a pdf with this same "color paper" being the result.  Is this possible?  If so, how?

    In WORD: TOOLS > Options > Print > background color and images (I had already checked background printing, but which refers to the process of printing, not the background. Check this other does the trick. It is probably disabled by default to prevent using regular printers ink.)

    We have improved our computer to a new RESUME with Word and Excel.  Our previous system was works.   We can convert our files basic spreadsheet and of data to Excel or must they be regenerated?

    Not exactly. It stores data in an ASCII ' Tab/return' file (assuming that you do not change the separator). Means that the file can be opened by any text editor. Including Word and Excel.

    If you want to open the file directly with Excel (or Word) with a simple double click, then simply add .xls (or .doc) as the file name extension.

    If you use the .txt extension, there are chances that your case will be opened by Notepad.

    Nothing complicated!

  • When scrolling or paging down, guard cursor jumping back to the top (occurs in all programs including email, words, etc.).

    While I'm working in an application program, it seems that certain keystroke (s) (shortcut keys I'm not aware and not intention to use?) causes my cursor jump to the top of the page and getting stuck there. When I scroll or page down to go to the point where I want my cursor to continue working and entering text or data, it doesn't let me do; it jumps to the top of the page.  Simualtaneously, if I try to solve the problem by making CTRL + G to go to a page says, the view goes to very large print (more than 100%) as soon as I hit him CTRL and that's all that happens.   It often happens in Word and when it happens there, it does also in my e-mail and Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer software.  I havde printed the list of keyboard shortcuts to see if I can detect what I do when typing that can cause, but so far I have not been able to know what could be.  I don't see any description of this type of behavior associated with any shortcut key; and I don't know what keys are causing it (by time, it starts to occurring at that I don't know what type, I used maybe inadvertently).  Someone on my team to support the University suggested that maybe it's my mouse; I changed my mouse and it's the same thing.  The only thing is that I've not seen what pops up is when I use the ball of keyboard to navigate (not the mouse); Since I ususally only dispenses with the mouse by send away from home, I'm not even sure that it won't happen that way either.  M HERE to loss. It is very annoying since I have to close the file, I'm trying to stop the behavior. and sometimes it will not even do this, I have to open a session

  • LARGE & SMALL ICONS, WORDS, ETC. ON THE SCREEN

    When I left earlier today, my computer was such that it is always, when I came back a few hours later (had left comp on) my icons on the screen & top of my Firefox page (ie: file, edit, history, Favorites, tools, help) are now HUGE!
    But, my sidebar, clock, news items, etc., are MUCH smaller than normal.
    What the hell happened between when I left & came back?  I always just leave when I go to the store, or something & it's never happened before.
    I checked that my screen resolution is at recommended, I checked my IPR, I don't know what else to do.

    Hi Patti,

    Try this another way. I would like when even you download what you saved in the documents on SkyDrive folder.

    (a) first of all, download the question you would like to see me on your screen.

    (b) on your keyboard, you are looking for a print screen button or Prt Scr or Prt Scn Print Scrn. Press this button.

    (c) click Start and type Paint in the box to start the search.

    (d) open Paint , click on a blank part of the window and press Ctrl + V to paste the picture.

    (e) save this image that you would normally save a file. I use Ctrl + S.

    Now to download the files.

    (a) go to www.hotmail.com and sign in to your Microsoft account.

    (b) at the top left he seems ideally Outlook and you will see your email. Click on the small arrow next to Outlook downwards and you would get a drop down. Select SkyDrive.

    (c) on the Ribbon at the top, you will see a download option. Click on that and it allows you to fix all the images that you have saved to be downloaded.

    (d) select the file and click on sharing of the Ribbon at the top of the page and allow the files/folders to share.

    (e) then click on a link and select show only. Post the link here.

    Hope that's easier for you to understand. Let me know if you need anything that anyone else.

    Make sure you you are using Acrobat Reader DC Acrobat Reader DC Learn & Support to export PDF files using Acrobat Reader. Export PDF to Acrobat Reader DC, older version of the player can stand no more.
