Conversion on Windows Mobile

I'm new to Java ME program then please be patient with my beginner questions.

I have an application with a multitude of screens, a (UserInterfaceScreen) is just a menu to any third party. The first that I want to go to press on Mainmenu is Firstframe. I left many details on the code below for simplicity.

I thought this would be an easy task to move from one screen to the other, but the learning curve is steep.  Anway.

The only way I can refer to pushscreen method, without errors, is if I put it in the main statement.  I guess trying to push the two screens to the stack. I actually do not create an instance of the firstframe until later in the auditeur1.  It gives me a stack overflow.

If I try to place the pushScreen (new Firstframe()); statement within fieldchanged (I commented) I get an error that the method is not recognized.

What is the easiest way to push a button and get a new screen?

Welcome to JAVA. pushScreen isn't a global function. There is no global functions in JAVA. Like any other method, you can call this method in the class that defines, in a class that extends the class that defines it, or by a reference to an object of these classes. I suggest reading about how JAVA, Orientation of the object.

Especially for screens pushing and poping, I like doing it this way:

  • Windows Mobile Device Center synchronization problem

    I recently developed a problem syncing my phone Windows Mobile 6.1 with Vista 64-bit Home Premium WMDC.  I would appreciate any idea or a reference to help me solve it.  I'll give you only a capsule summary chronological here to keep this short note.

    -There are synchronization three weeks was normal.  No change in system done other that what is described below.
    -Signed with the local provider (Comcast) for Exchange and Sharepoint hosting services.  They ran an installation script that changed by the Outlook 2007 adding the exchange server profile and who knows what else.
    -Phone sync is no longer with the PC; only with their Exchange Server.  They claim that they did nothing to make (their inventory of skills for Windows Mobile does not exist).  WMDC still sees the phone as a guest.
    -Spent the weeks then 2 + talk with Comcast level 3 troubleshooting, manufacturer (HTC) phone and cellular service provider (Sprint).  All to various help desk levels.  I spent a lot of time searching for answers on various blogs and other credible sites for answers.
    -Journal of phone calls said that the error is 0x8503001f which says that my profiles are out of sync.
    -One of these help professionals tells me its something to do with my user.sdf file.  This file is not present on my PC.
    -Sent in notice of cancellation to Comcast, which is still in the queue for processing.
    -Sprint technical support abandoned and sent me a replacement phone.
    -New phone has the same problem.  The problem is clearly with WMDC, file or a registry problem.  Utilities that I find on the internet for the problem works only with 32-bit operating system.
    -J' tried to uninstall and reinstall WMDC and the other fixes I found on TechNet and other Windows Mobile sites.  Nothing works.

    I'm not a developer, but I'm a power user who is used to run organizations, so I'll have intelligent conversations with these people.  They are perplexed and so I am.

    Elite x 3 uses the mixture of Microsoft function to view the applications on your screen 'big screen '.  Since this feature is part of Windows Mobile 10, only some applications Windows Mobile 10 will work Continuum.

    However, HP has a solution called workspace that will allow customers to run their standard Windows programs on the elite x 3: hp.com/go/workspace.  It is only available to customers of commerical so it may not work for you.

    Personally, I use TeamViewer remote connect to my other laptop when I need to run regular programs.

    Do you have which version of Win 7 installed? 32-bit or 64-bit?
    Tiles for Mobility Center is designed for 32 bit Windows 7

    Please check your version first maybe you use Win 7 64-bit

  • Presentation settings is missing from the Windows Mobility Center

    Recently installed everything, but have run windows update etc. Since then.

    Presentation settings does not appear in the Windows Mobility Center, and I can not find presentationsettings.exe anywhere on the computer.

    Have tried downloading VAP but no difference. Toshiba Assist has nothing to help me, I think.

    I tried looking for drivers and utilities for the L300 and sees nothing to help me - no presentation or power related only downloads.

    How can I get the presentation settings? The main problem I have is not to want the screen empties when you watch a DVD or streaming video. Even if you put windows power settings to never turn off the screen, it will still blank after a period of time without the intervention of the physical user, despite the video game.

    AFAIK this option is always available when the laptop is preinstalled with Toshiba (factory State) recovery image.
    You install own OS or what?

    I have two Toshiba laptops, and both of them have this option in the Windows Mobility Center.

Unfortunately I'm not able to use this connection with the Center for devices windows mobile. If I click on the Bluetooth icon in the control panel I don't see my laptop bluetooth device.

    Support of Vista Mobile Device Center is currently not included. It should be implemented in one of the next versions.

    I have and HTC Snap with WM 6.1 I want to connect to my Satellite P500 running Windows 7 to be able to move the files by using Windows Mobile Device Center.

    I know that this device can talk to this laptop via bluetooth, because there are some utilities bluetooth Toshiba that I can use to get a connection.

    However, even if the Toshiba utility recognizes my bluetooth device, but WMDC is not. WMDC recognises my device when it is connected with a USB cable.

    I don't know about the drvupdate-amd64 download which I think is necessary with WMDC but when I run what it looks like all it does is try to install a device driver for a device that is 'unknown '. I get a message at the end that driver could not be installed.

    I have run out of ideas on how to get these things to work. Someone at - it a similar experience?

    Could this be a problem of COM port? My Bluetooth device to 40 com affected Toshiba stack I don't see a COM 40 in the WMDC, just a port identified as "Bluetooth" settings

    Installation is pretty easy.

    Laptop:
    Set the COM port appropriate in Active Sync that adapts to your COM Server Bluetooth port. It is normally COM7.

    PDA with Windows Mobile 6:
    Ensure COM Bluetooth Manager is on.
    Configure the port on the laptop with Active Sync:
    Start->settings->connections->Bluetooth->devices->add new feature-> select your laptop-> port select "Active Sync"...
