Could someone please convert this library (apparently from Labview 5) in a format compatible with Labview 8.6?  In addition, it is possible to download the version of labview 8.2 (so I can make these conversions myself without worrying about someone) that would be great too.  I tried to access some links but get'm denied access.  Messages before reading, is not uncommon.

  • Cannot convert llb in directory

I have a local keyboard llb someone shared. When I open it, convert it to button directory is disabled, as are the buttons cut and copy. I need to extract it.

    Why would he do that?

In the llb Manager, set up a folder, and then select the llb file. Now you can convert it into a folder.

  • Convert llb VI LabVIEW 5 for use in LabVIEW 8.6

    Hello world!

First of all, I would like to say how much I enjoyed working for OR and especially to support the community online in my free time. I have to say that this is a good place for NOR users in long term, the new users and any other LabVIEW - and you guys have fun! Excellent.

I am now in college and I'm looking to use LabVIEW for robotics work. During my research, I found some manufacturers for material screw: however their "latest" version seems to be in LabVIEW 5.

Someone would be kind enough to convert my screws at least LabVIEW 6 or up to LabVIEW 8.2.1 (latest version that can open the LabVIEW 5 screws) would be great. My LabVIEW 8.6 should be able to open the screw saved in LabVIEW 6 or higher. (Obviously not LabVIEW 2009!)

Reference: How to update or restore to a different Version of LabVIEW VI

Ever thank you in advance (I get bored of the day where I got all versions of LabVIEW - and OR software on my machine!)

    Kind regards

  • conversion of 5.0...

    Hi there everyone...

Could be someone so kind to convert me the llb attached to a newer version?  I've got 8.6...

P.S. I am a student exploring the catacombs of an old univerity...

Well, here it is at 8.2.  BUT... This code seems to want to use the old AccessHW.dll. What operating system you are trying to run it on?

  • Rename LVLIB containing LLB

Please can someone corrects me if I try to use the structures of LabVIEW files incorrectly.

I built a free figure instrument driver - contained in a LVLIB

It refers to a code written by the H/W manufacturer which was provided in a LAW degree.

    Problem:

The whole point of going to the rout of the LVLIB, when I get another variant of the H/W that requires different parameters or discussions on a different protocol speed (but use the same command, the value set, but the manufacturer in the LLB), I want to create a new LVLIB for the new project, I am working on so that my S/W modules match the H/W modules.

When I do cela LLB references are falling apart and need to use with Manager of LLB.

If I save the save LVLIB corrupts.

Is there a solution to this issue - other than to remove the code from the LLB?

    James

You could simply not include the LLB in the lvlib. It seems to me that the lvlib is for your code, rather than a set of third-party code, so, technically, the LLB shouldn't really be in the lvlib. You can also simply convert the LLB to a directory, because the LLB is simply a container of fancy. (I'm not sure if that's what you mean by removing the code of the LLB).

  • How can I individual files contained in a llb file md5 sum?

How can I individual files contained in a llb file md5 sum?

I'll assume you know how to get the value of MD5. If it isn't... http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/MD5/m-p/1067558

The LLB acts as a container. So, you will need to extract the files of the LLB and save them as individual files, so that you can calculate the MD5 checkusm for each file. LabVIEW is a built-in LLB Manager which can be used to convert a LAW degree to a directory of files.

Note: If you use the LLB to store your screws during development, it is a BAD idea (control of source code, a file corruption problems corrupts all LLB, nightmare of development distributed, etc...). LLBs must be used for the distribution of the code, and if you need a MD5 for that, you could just provide the MD5 for the Bachelor of LAW, rather than the MD5 for each file.

  • Use regular expressions to extract .llb file from the path name

I'm trying to be smart (always a dangerous thing) and use a regular expression to extract the name of a library to a filepath converted to a string.   While I appreciate there are other ways to do this, regex seems to be a very powerful way of neat, I would be able to operate.

IE, if I have a string of type, C:\applications\versions\library.llb\toplevel.vi, I want to be able to extract the library.llb of the string, because it will be of variable length, may include the numbers & spaces and may be located in a file of variable depth hierarchy.   In other words, I want to extract the part of the string between the last-which ends with .llb

The best I managed so far is \\+.*llb who all returned less the drive letter and the toplevel.vi

Can someone help me to achieve this goal, or I'm better by using an alternative method (for example filepath string in array, search for .llb)

    Thank you

    Matt

    Hi Matt,

attached you will find two other options.

  • Invoke the LLB file vi

I had a few screws that stored in a. File LLB. Is it possible to call these screws in c#? If so, could someone can share a demo for me code? Thank you!

Have you tried to build your screws in a .NET interop assembly using the Application Builder rather than a LAW degree?

  • More 1997 PCI - CAN, how to put NIDeviceNet.llb screw LV6.1 to LV2012

    Hello

I've got this old system on Windows 2000. There * a lot * of calls to the screw in the LabVIEW 6.1 DeviceNet.llb, called DNET screws...

If I've upgraded to LabVIEW 2012 and got a new NI PXI-8532, what it would be like to get the old code to work? Is there a new library / api for LabVIEW for devicenet? Or all the screws in the current library of devicenet LabVIEW have the same names and Connector components as in LabVIEW 6.1?

(I talked to a very good industrial AE to Com, but why can't I use my Premier Support to speak to one * DeviceNet * specialist at OR?)

There is a white paper on the passage of the old code of Dnet1.x to IndCom for Devicenet 2.x code: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/14074/en

  • From LABSPHERE llb

I'm trying to access the features provided by Labsphere llb, but when I try to set up the call to the library, there is no function in the menu dropdown.

I have no problem with llb that came with other equipment. Is it likely that something specific about how Labsphere creates her law degree or I am doing something wrong more generally?

    Thank you

    EMH

Do you know what type of DLL the Labsphere library? What is a .NET DLL, 16 bit or 32 bit?

I just upgraded to LabVIEW 2011 without uninstalling LabVIEW 2010.  I downloaded the last set of drivers DAQmx 9.30.  I find that these drivers are installed in a DAQmx folder under the vi.llb of theLabVIEW 2010 and NOT in the vi.llb of LabVIEW 2011.  The DAQmx features do not appear on the menus and the existing instances are reported as 'cannot be compiled. How can I get the DAQmx functions to properly install LabVIEW 2011?

    You must DAQmx 9.4.
