As you can see on the screenshot, even if I chose "align the window' the red zone is not able to cover the whole screen I want to capture.   Yes, you will need to save this as a separate file, nationally (with loss of quality, always!) this project at the same resolution as the current project. After that, you will be able to copy and paste slides recorded to the existing project. The pages that you were talking about were on a new software simulation project.

  Hi all

  I recorded a video of my software, a non-interactive tutorial ( software simulation mode and record mode: demo).

  My software has a debug window showing the values that change frequently.

  In my video, I would record this debug window and do some action on it (this window has a toolbar).

  Captivate correctly save the pointer of the mouse but when i, e.g. clicking a button of toolbar, Captivate adds a legend of text (rightly) but the video stops (the values on my watch freeze).

  How can I stop this behavior?

  You can add static images in a video demo as well. Take a look at this (old) example that was performed using only the demo video:

  Often, I will replace the 'old' FMR slides, still not well displayed in the HTML output by slides CPVC (short video slideshow). I stop recording software, in the project cptx choose the big button "Slides" insert a slide of demo, the recorder is opened and I save the CPVC slide. When you are finished, you can insert with the same touch of Simulation software slides etc. Advantage: you can open the editor video demo of each slide CPVC. Pan/zoom have a much better quality you can achieve with the workflow software sim.

  I recorded a software simulation, and then a video demo separately. I published the demonstration video on the spot. I tried to upload this video as a "video object" in my software simulation. When I try to playback, the "video" object is right there. Is there some magical setting I'm missing to make it work?

  I add a software simulation to my sensitive journey and I have few places where I drag and drop things. Captivate quickly added the drag and drop as transparent with video of him. The video format is swf. Now, all right until I have preview/publish. This is when the screen is blank and white. It is as if the slide work and when its time to move to the next slide, he does.   I made a few demo video recording in Captivate 6.  There are a few places where I need to freeze the image so I can fit all my audio.  (I'm not good at telling while I save).  In addition to splitting the video and adding white space inbetween, is there a way to create a "freeze frame", storytelling can be completed before the next part of the video?

  I use workaround is to create in the video and the trimming of long pauses, but who is causing extra work.  Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  You can try an alternative which, instead of using the demo video you can use "Software Simulation" and in respect of the registration window, choose the option "Demo."

  Now, when you add audio to the slide, it will give an option to make the same as the audio duration slide duration.

  Is there a way to scramble sensitive information in a video demonstration?

  Not so easy in a normal cptx project. Either you publish to mp4 and use a video editor own right (like Premiere Pro or After Effects), or you can put a static (such as a form) object on top of the part where you want the information be covered. Who could be a semi-transparent form, or maybe put some dummy characters in it to cover the original text? This second workflow is possible in the video demo, don't need another application Editor.
