Convert Date GMT

Hello! Can I convert the time GMT (String) like this
"Friday, November 25, 2011 12:13:14 GMT.
to date the object except String manually analysis?
It does not scare me, but maybe there is a simpler way?

Try using the HTTPDateParser API:

    Hello

    I used SQL standards database stored procedure options to store records of my test and I added the generated tables and stored procedures in a database and it seems to work OK in this form. However when I change the UUT_Results table to include a new column that contains the value of the primary key of another table in the database that I meet problems.

    I run a query that returns the primary key value (integer) for a given series number and stores the result as a global station (number format). The correct value is stored in the variable, but when I try to use this value in the stored procedure I get an error like below:

    Stuart-

    What is the expression you are evaluating and the data type of the parameter that you defined in the Options database dialog box for the schema that you connect to data with?

  • convert date format period

    Hi all

    Here are my existing query which I run another tool to extract data from oracle-

    Select * from transactionTbl

    WHERE

    DATE > = TO_DATE (' $(vAppStartDate)', "DD/MM/YYYY")

    AND DATE < = TO_DATE (' $(vAppEndDate)', "DD/MM/YYYY")

    variables-

    -vAppStartDate = 06/01/2014

    -vAppEndDate = 30/06/2015

    Rather than use the Date column in the WHERE condition, I want to use PeriodID of column existing in the same table, to make the query faster.

    The period column is in below format.

    PeriodID format-> 201294 //means 2012Q 4. So 9 means Q

    Since I'm on variables, the values are always to the date format, so my requirement is first change variable date from periods of format.

    I wrote the pseudo-code, because I of course know how to convert date format periodID. Q also means in the periodID 9.

    Select * from transactionTbl

    WHERE

    PeriodID > = period_function (TO_DATE (July 1, 14 ',' DD/MM/YYYY '), 'YYYYxx')

    AND PeriodID > = period_function (TO_DATE (July 1, 15 ',' DD/MM/YYYY '), 'YYYYxx')

    Please help me with the query.

    Thank you!

    Calling a user-defined function is likely to slow down your query.

    What's the problem with just using regular date formatting strings for example

    SQL > select to_char (to_date('15/09/2014','DD/MM/YYYY'), 'YYYY "9" Q') of double;
    TO_CHA
    ------
    201493

    1 selected line.

    You can do something like this:

    select from_tz(to_timestamp('2015-08-18 11:30:05','yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss'), 'UTC')
    at time zone 'Australia/West' from dual

    OR

    select from_tz(to_timestamp('2015-08-18 11:30:05','yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss'), 'UTC')
    at time zone 'Australia/Melbourne' from dual

    Don't know your data/settings NLS session, so it would not be a perfect solution, I guess.

    In addition, this issue concerns mainly SQL if you can post in the appropriate forum: SQL

    I hope this helps!

  • Convert a GMT timestamp field to the EAST

    Hello

    I have to convert the timestamp field from the source of GMT at EST.

    CREATE TABLE X
    (
    TS_FIELD TIMESTAMP (6)
    );

    INSERT INTO X VALUES('07-JAN-13 02.00.06.597000 PM');

    INSERT INTO X VALUES('07-MAY-13 03.46.48.800000 AM');

    I need to convert the above of the GMT timestamp field to the EAST in 24-hour format.
    I tried to do, but I'm getting conflict hours with the error of the day.

    I tried the below one and set to zero milliseconds of

    Select X,
    TO_timestamp (TO_CHAR (CAST (FROM_TZ (CAST (TO_DATE (TO_CHAR (X,'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.))))))) SSSSS)
    ,'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS. SSSSS)
    ((AS A TIMESTAMP), "GMT") TO THE ZONE ' US / EASTERN' AS DATE),'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS. SSSSS'),'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS. SSSSS)
    X

    Please help me in this regard. I'm trying at the same time as well.

    Thanks in advance
    KVB

    That's because SCOTT in a format mask does not mean milliseconds, it means seconds after midnight. 12:33:48 is 45228 seconds after midnight.

    If you want 5 milliseconds decimals, do the following:

    SELECT TO_CHAR(TO_TIMESTAMP('14-SEP-11 12.33.48.537150 PM', 'DD-MON-RR HH:MI:SS.FF AM'),'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.FF5')

    Ben

    Look at your request:

    To_date (sysdate, ' dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MI:SS)

    Does this make any sense? Not really. To_date first parameter is a string. You pass a date. As a result, SYSDATE is implicitly converted to a string using format default date that most likely does not include the part default time, then on 00:00:00. See the difference:

    SQL> SELECT FROM_TZ(CAST(TO_DATE(sysdate, 'dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MI:SS') AS TIMESTAMP), 'US/Eastern') AT TIME ZONE 'GMT' From_TZGmtTime ,
      2  to_char(new_time(sysdate,'EST','GMT'),'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss') New_TimeGmtTime,

      2  to_char(new_time(sysdate,'EST','GMT'),'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss') New_TimeGmtTime,
      3  To_char(sysdate,'dd-mon-yyyy hh24:mi:ss') EST_LocalTime

  • Second difference between dates GMT?

    Hello

    I need to get the second difference between a date later GMT and current date of GMT.

    My code looks like this:

    Calendar futureDate = Calendar.getInstance(TimeZone.getTimeZone("GMT"));futureDate.set(Calendar.YEAR, 2009);futureDate.set(Calendar.MONTH, 11);futureDate.set(Calendar.DATE, 12)futureDate.set(Calendar.HOUR, 10)futureDate.set(Calendar.MINUTE, 43)futureDate.set(Calendar.SECOND, 18);

    int secs = (futureDate.getTime().getTime() - System.currentTimeMillis()) / 1000;

    This code gives me 12 hours too many seconds. I'm I have GMT + 7 time zone. DateTime, the value source Blackberry.

    When I debug, and print the futureDate, it shows me my timezone instead of GMT.

    Another weird thing. If I subtract the TimeZone.getDefault () .getRawOffset () in my calculation of seconds, the seconds are then 7 hours in advance. Where are these 5 hours from extra?

    Thank you.

    Sorry, just a little chip, I don't have the time to carefully review your problem (maybe do later) but two things:

    (1) System.currentTimeMillis () returns the time UTC.  I think that CMJ is incorrect when he says that it returns local time.

    (2) GMT is NOT necessarily UTC time on the device.  GMT in London at the present time is UTC to 1, because we (I'm in the United Kingdom) use Daylight Saving.  If you want to discover the real hour GMT, on the device or the Simulator, set time GMT from Casablanca.

    I need to check these, do not have the time, but here are some other thoughts on the top of my head.

    (a) timezone "GMT" is, in fact, Casablanca GMT, i.e. not affected by Daylight Saving.

    (b) Note When you specify the time of the calendar, there are two forms of time:
    TIME - what you used, can be morning or afternoon

    HOUR_OF_DAY - which I think is what you should use.

    So change your code to use HOUR_OF_DAY, and I suspect that this could work.  But as noted, just off the top of my head...

  • Convert Date to Julian Date in Disqualification

    Hi Mike / everybody,.

    Is there a way of Disqualification to convert a date to a Julian Date?

    I have a "valuation date" and I would like to convert a date Julian (which becomes an integer) to use in a subtraction formula. Is this possible?

    For example, in SQL:

    Select to_char (TO_DATE (' 2014/09/30 ', ' yyyy/mm/dd'), 'J') twice;

    Which returns 2456931

    If I have to use a script processor to achieve this, is there an example that I could follow, please help.

    Thanks in advance,

    Date.prototype.getJulian = function() {
      return Math.ceil((this / 86400000) - (this.getTimezoneOffset()/1440) + 2440587.5);
    }

    var valDate = input1[0];
    var dt = new Date(valDate);
    var julian_dt = dt.getJulian();

    output1 = julian_dt;

    The code above converts a date into a date julienne. All you have to do is add it to a script processor.

    Thank you
