  Immediately following October 10, 2013 Windows Vista update automated - 25 updates is installed on my Toshiba Satellite laptop and HP Pavilion Desktop - cannot send emails from a computer using Windows Mail - they return both the same error message: "failed to connect to server...". "Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10013, error number: 0x800CCC0E".  E-mail can still receive however on both machines.  There is no problem whether the sending of emails minutes before the update took place.  Anyone who has known (and solved) this problem?

  Postscript: problem solved - on both my laptop and desktop, I discovered that under Windows Mail > tools > accounts > (my tiscali account) > properties > servers, the entry for the outgoing (SMTP) mail has been entered incorrectly as smpt.tiscali.co.uk.  This change of smtp.tiscali.co.uk solved the problem on both machines.

  Windows Mail worked perfectly on both machines immediately before Windows update Oct 10 - so it seems that the update must have corrupted a file to install Windows Mail on my two computers.  Not sure how other users may be affected by this...

  Perhaps Microsoft could take a look?

  So I sometimes use Eloqua component cloud progressive Profiling, rather than using my own progressive profiling script. The component works fine on Eloqua landing pages - or at least, it usually works very well.

  Today I get, instead of my form gradually profiled, "Server error in ' / V2' Application." Timeout expired. Perioud elapsed time before obtaining a connection from the pool".

  It's not good - this form is directly used in production, and is completely non-functional.

  So two questions: is - anyone else having problems with components of cloud today?

  And a bigger picture, why this cloud component fails so suddenly? Wouldn't be better to place the regular, non-progressive-visible shape on the page? It might be a long form, but at least it would work.

  I recently deployed a Server SBS 2011 Essentials version in our office. We are very please with everything except for one thing. We have an IBM T42 laptop running Win XP Pro SP3 (fully patched) I can not stick to the server.
  Whenever I type the URL to bring up the software of the connector (http://servername/connect), I get a browser message-"Server Error 403-Forbidden: access is denied." You don't have permissio to view this directory or page using the credentials you provided. »
  I can ping the IP address of the server successfully and can navigate to the shared folders on the server without any problem. I also have two Dell laptops that are running Win7 Pro, and I had no problem to join these to the server/domain.
  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
