I have a Web site runninig online, I lost the original file in MS Publisher 98.

Is there a way to convert the site Html. the original MS Publisher 98 file so that I can change it?

Garypinns,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers community.

I couldn't find converters that would work however (because it is already in the code), so my first inclination would be to think that it is impossible, however, I would transfer your question in the Discussion MS Publisher community just to be sure, as one of the experts in this field would be better suited to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you, Ryan. Keep right em... :-)

    IIRC, by default, when the call to this service via RIDC, will get you service data returned back to you in a format of .hda.

    Add "IsJava = 0" to your request for the HTML code instead, for example

    binder.putLocal("IsJava","0")

  • Convert HTML to PDF

    Can you ColdFusion take a snapshot of an HTML page and convert it into a PDF file? I want to automate a process where a user accesses a page HTML, updates the data in a word document, and then convert the word document to PDF format and stores. ColdFusion allows to eliminate the user? Can I just put in place a process to the administrator to run a script once a month that can do this?

    * convert HTMl page to PDF

    * And then place the file in the folder to archive

    I'm trying to convince the owners to simply make a form that fits into a DB, but old habits are hard to break. Until then, the foregoing is possible?

    * convert HTMl page to PDF

    Yes, using CFDOCUMENT. If this entry is on the pictures, it shows how you can use cfdocument to capture the HTML from a url and convert it to pdf format

    http://www.coldfusionjedi.com/index.cfm/2007/6/13/ColdFusion-8-URL-thumbnails

    Just be aware THAT CFDOCUMENT is not perfect. It does not always handle complex CSS styles. But for basic html, it should do the job.

    * And then place the file in the folder to archive

    Use the "filename" attribute to save the file anywhere you want. See the documentation for more details.

  • C# convert HTML bold Style in InDesign Styles

    Hello

    I am trying to create a function that translated HTML "< b >" and "< strong >" tags bold InDesign styles.

    For example, the HTML code:

    <b>Bold Text</b> and another <strong>Bold Text</strong>

    Would lead to this view in your browser:

    Bold text and other text in bold

    If I try to put a paragraph of the foregoing in InDesign, it would make just as-is without any greasy effect.

    For example:

                Application application = ActivateInDesign();//A custom function that activates InDesign
                // Create new document
                application.Documents.Add(true, application.DocumentPresets.FirstItem());
                // Get active document and change some settings
                Document document = application.ActiveDocument;
                // Get first page (already created) and set margins
                Page page = (Page)document.Pages[1];
                // Add text frame object that holds texts.
                TextFrame textFrame = page.TextFrames.Add(document.Layers.FirstItem(), idLocationOptions.idUnknown, page);
                // Set the position and size (geometrics) of the text frame to be the whole size of the page up to the page.
                textFrame.GeometricBounds = page.Bounds;
                textFrame.Contents = "<b>Bold Text</b> and another <strong>Bold Text</strong>";

    Give me this output:

    Capture.JPG

    When I really want is something like this:

    Capture.2JPG.JPG

    So, I'm working on this function to convert the HTML to InDesign.

    However, in the event after stripping the tags '< b >' and "< strong >" and get the index/position of bold text.

    I can't understand how can I style a sub to a paragraph in c# string.

    If anyone knows how I can style a part of the paragraph?

    Try this,

    An application = ActivateInDesign (); A custom function which activates InDesign

    Create new document

    request. Documents.Add (true, application.) DocumentPresets.FirstItem ());

    Download the active document and change some settings

    Document document = application. ActiveDocument;

    Get first page (already created) and set the margins

    A page = document (pages). Pages: [1];

    Add the text frame object that contains text.

    TextFrame textFrame = page. TextFrames.Add (document). Layers.FirstItem (), idLocationOptions.idUnknown, page);

    Define the position and size of the block of text to the full size of the page until the page (geometry).

    textFrame.GeometricBounds = page. Limits;

    textFrame.Contents ="text"BOLD" and an another "BOLD"text";

    request. FindGrepPreferences = application. ChangeGrepPreferences = idNothingEnum.idNothing;

    request. FindGrepPreferences.FindWhat = "(<.+?>)(.+?)". ()";

    request. ChangeGrepPreferences.ChangeTo = "$2";

    request. ChangeGrepPreferences.FontStyle = 'bold ';

    document. ChangeGrep();

    Kind regards

  • Can I convert html page to muse format

    I have a website created with html. I would like to recreate with Muse, but have a lot of links to other sites and don't want to attach each hyperlink separately. Is it possible to copy and paste the data without losing the link? the page I'm trying is a library, so there is a lot of data to transfer. Should be always haunted each link.

    As Muse used his own structured DOM and the ID is it is not effective to find a converter. It would be better to do it by hand,

  • My PDF suspended hyphens, once I have convert HTML, how can I fix?

    I have never encountered this problem with Acrobat 9 Pro, but XI was giving me this error since I loaded it to my machine.

    The first line of each paragraph is now undergoes the hanging indent after that I converted to PDF, HTML. There is nothing wrong with my files and the same files converted very well when I had version 9. Someone at - he found a way to solve this problem?

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Thank you for reporting the problem. I've actually been able to remedy when I uninstalled Acrobat XI and reinstalled. I wonder if he had nothing to do with the older version of Acrobat (version 9) still on my computer when I first installed version 11.

  • Is it possible to convert HTML to PDF without pagination?

    I have a HTML file I want to convert to PDF. Ideally, I would like the PDF file consists of a long page without be divided into different pages. Is this possible?

    I don't want to cut too far the image that it is unreadable. I tried to adjust the page size settings, but the page larger than I can generate is a tabloid portrait orientation (14 x 17), but she still print to more than one page.

    If paging cannot be deleted, does anyone know of any HTML/CSS code that I can use to break pages in some places? If I am forced to use a PDF file paginated, I at least don't want items in page break in the middle.

    I use Acrobat Pro XI on a MacBook Pro. Browser-Wise, I have Firefox, Chrome and Safari installed, if the HTML file to open in one of them made a difference.

    Thanks in advance, aj

    You can create a custom page size, BUT you go through the Acrobat interface

    File > create > PDF Page Web... >

    In creating a PDF file of the Web Page window, put in the URL that you want to capture

    In creating a PDF file of the Web Page window, click the settings button

    in the Web Page Conversion Settings window, click the Page Layout tab

    In the middle sections, Page Size popup menu select Custom

    In the width field, set the size of the width of the page in inches

    in the field height set the height in inches

    In the section margins, you set the margins (up, down, left, right) in the fields in inches

    In the section value Portrait or Landscape Orientation

    in section scaling set whether or not you want to scale the contents of the page

    in the Web Page Conversion Settings window, click the OK button

    In creating a PDF file of the Web Page window, click Create.

  • How to convert html to pdf with photos (AA Pro 9)

    Hello

    I want to create a pdf file from a file html newsletter (which I welcome also online).

    I use Adobe Acrobat Pro, create pdf from web page.

    It works fine, except that the images are not converted.

    There is not a red cross or questions marks, images are simply not there.

    The images in my html code are hosted online, that is in the html code, I refer to a Web page.

    For example, < img src = ' http://ISMS-hosting.com/newsletterimages/OMMlogo.PNG '>.

    I presume that is causing the problem, but how do I overcome this easily?

    Thanks in advance for your answers!

    Concerning

    Hmm, I did a few tests with the HTML code directly. It isn't the graphic format, because the only graphic is fine. It is the complete combination of HTML that is causing the error.

    I found removing max-height: 100%; the first < img=""> tag bought the picture.

  • Convert html codes

    After the design of a site can I convert it to html or even export it to DreamWeaver for coding? In other words, how can I get the coding?

    Just use file-> export as HTML option and define a location where to save the files from the local site. Take a look at this video here - http://tv.adobe.com/watch/muse-feature-tour/export-your-sites/.

    And here's how you would define a new site in Dreamweaver where the local site folder is the folder you exported your Muse site at- http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1017578. Here, the video can be useful too - http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-dreamweaver-cs5/gs01-defining-a-new-site/.

  • Convert HTML/javascript AIR app AIR flex application?

    Hi all

    I have already built an AIR with HTML/javascript application I want to monetize.

    I would use the O2app e-Commerce Framework, which supports only this time created Flex AIR apps.

    My question: is there a simple way to "convert" an AIR of HTML/javascript app in Flex 3? I don't want to rebuild from scratch in Flex 3 application if I have to. :)

    Thank you

    Al

    Thank you very much for this information.

    Initially, I asked the question because, at the time, I thought that AIR Flex applications could be protected against copying, but it seems that they too can not be protected against copying (the exe file is created AFTER the installation).

    Thanks again,
    Al

  • Half way through a web page, HTML stops returned

    I have an internal web page, and one of my users reported to me that it seemed wrong to Firefox 5.0.

    Page just a VERY simple HTML. He doesn't use CSS, but there are tags with the specified colors. The code was generated by the code, is completely uniform from line to line. Everything renders correctly for as many lines and then all of a sudden the HTML stops rendering and the remaining content of the file is displayed in plain text. You can easily view the page Source and make sure the code is intact and correct. I am baffled by this problem that doesn't seem to affect Firefox 5.o.

    Even if it is an internal web page, I made a publicly available version in case someone would like to take a peek. Any ideas you have will be appreciated!

    http://pulseofradio.com/public/posts/test.asp

    I think that you do not close your color tags ARE correctly. For example:

    <FONT face='arial' size=-1>6/13/2011 5:02:52 AM(EST): <STRONG><FONT COLOR='RED'>WUUQ </STRONG></FONT><FONT COLOR='BLACK'>logged in as: <STRONG><FONT COLOR='RED'>prepcw6 </STRONG></FONT><FONT COLOR='BLACK'> from <STRONG><FONT COLOR='RED'>66.18.36.6 </STRONG></FONT><FONT COLOR='BLACK'><HR>

    When you start a series of BLACK, you're not end it. Each line ends with a color tag ARE open. This translates into deep nesting which apparently is higher than a threshold in Firefox.

    Second, you've been through the STRONG tags and FONTS:

    <STRONG><FONT>text node</STRONG></FONT>

    This would be better written:

    <STRONG><FONT>text node</FONT></STRONG>

    For efficiency, if the STRONG tags are always red, you can use CSS and get rid of all the font color tags.

    <style type="text/css"> body {color:black} strong {color:red} </style>
  • Problem converting HTML help printed documentation

    I have a help created using HTML Help file. When I am trying to generate a file .doc him my seems MS Word to be hanged. After ending the Riobohelp gives the following message "the Word VBA macro version registered is incorrect. Please reinstall printed Documentation.

    I checked that I have the version of Word 2000-SP-2.

    What else should I check before generating the printable help? Also, for the record, I don't have a printer physically attached to my computer.

    Despite the message, it can be as simple as reducing the level of security in Word. If that fixed it, look at Issues of impression on my site.

    Do not have a connected printer is not a problem, unless you want to print.

  • Receive the HTML code in the message, how to convert?

    Usually, I can read all my mail (text or HTML), but a correspondent sent me a message
    containing HTML code. Here it is:

    I used a program of conversion by Mail Chimp and, indeed, the converted lines
    in a table of three columns and four rows.

    Can I make Thunderbird to do the conversion before displaying the message?

    Date Description Amount
    30/05/2014 Speed 16.01
    01/06/2014 Membership dues 227,00
    01/06/2014 Payment - EFT -243.01

    The doubling of the first lines of code that's happened by me using the converter of Mail Chimp on the HTML of the message section. I don't have the original of the message, the registered version is the converted HTML code.

    Our health club billing agent sends hundreds of invoices by e-mail in a commercial billing program. She says I'm the only one complaining that the message is not displayed correctly.

    I now know what to do: just save the messge then the code gets converted.

    I will now close the question and I thank very you much.

  • InDesign matter IDML and converts return soft-statements

    I'm generating IDML for import into InDesign.

    Returns (13 character, \r or \r\n) before writing the IDML convert all the soft return (character 10 or \n).

    When InDesign opens the IDML, history content hard-returns(\r or \r\n) are converted to soft-returns (\n).

    Why he did this, and how can I do InDesign keep returns?

    Space management IDML is weird to say the least.

    Use of the
    element to specify the paragraph break.

    To find out why it does not, the method the easiest is to export the text corrected from indesign as an IDML and review.

  • What is the best way to convert word to html document more optimized?

    I wrote an article for my site with Word. Now, I want to convert HTML to optimized. But if I save word to html it adds a lot of extra inline style. What will be the best way to get the most optimized html code?

    Here is the article:

    How to try on clothes on your phone?

    In Word, use Ctrl / Cmd + A to select all and Ctrl / Cmd + V to copy.  In DW, use ADSI > paste special > text only.  This will remove all the Junk code in MS Word.   DW allows to format the text as you wish.
