  Uninstall the volume license key!  My problem is: I have an older version of windows xp, there is a stivker on what said designed for windows from microsoft 98' I'm trying my best to upgrade to all new windows stuff, keep in mind, I don't know anything about computers!  everything is upgraded to what I'm doing! but everthing that I said that I have a vlk that is blocked! I am trying to download internet explorer 8 and the service pack 2 update, and it won't let me do no more!   To Captivate 6 you have 2 separate Windows and Mac serial numbers. Please log on licensing.adobe.com to get the serial number of the MAC version.

• Capture Applications with unique license keys

  We captured an Application (table) on AppVols that require specific license keys. When the user logs in first, they enter the key and they are good. The key is retained after logoff and restart. When we reconstruct (linked clones) Although the key gets lost and the user must re-enter the key again. We never had this problem using it as a ThinApp. I fight to find out what data is saved to the persistent no disk and be lost. I guess that when we used the data has automatically redirected to their disk Persistant of ThinApp.

  The reasoning for the move AppVolumes. Every few weeks a new version of the Application is available and we are asked to deploy it. With Appvolumes if you have installed a newer version with the old version, you don't have to enter the key at the launch of the new version (shared keys). With ThinApp, this does not work because we are creating a new thinapp for each version and applications are submitted individually. Any help or directions or identification whats lost after a restructuring with the version of AppVol and understand how to fix this would be appreciated.

  As far as I know, the problem is that this regisstry is in the profiles stored in the C drive after a user redial the c drive is updated.

  I recently had to change my SSD and reinstall the OS using the HP CD. My laptop is not a sticker, I think MS support is common and HP integrate the license key into the material. I used an app, Belarc, to retriev the keys to license a clone SSD, I have the main SSD, it's 74T2M-DKDBC-788W3-H689G-6P6GT. When I entered the license key post erroneous and he also failed on the W10 clean install. After various discussions with MS support I understand that HP can disable the key after a hardware change. I also found an indication that it is a "common" key of some sort - see below. My question is; is that correct and if so, how can I get the unique key that is associated with my laptop?  Or is what I was advised wrong and got a license key doubtful for the last 3 years?

  It's the difference between the OWM_SLP and COA_SLP keys. All machines supplied by HP (everywhere!) with Win 7 Pro will be the next key 74T2M-DKDBC-788W3-H689G-6P6GT they will also have a COA sticker on them with the COA_SLP key that is specific to this machine. If your accounts are not aware of this, they live in cloud cuckoo-land. Please post a MGADiag report for one of the disputed machines - if the specified key is a key OEM_SLP, then you are OK - if it's anything other than a Volume license key, then you are in trouble, technically.

  HP integrates their license in the material in which if there are any material changes the key will be disabled. I know this can be difficult. Here's what I suggest. It will be useful to contact HP in this regard in order to check which is the original incorporated on this hardware key, I'm sure they have a tool to check the key associated with the material. As soon as we have this we can then easily re-activate your windows.

• Help to find the installed license key

  We are upgrading our portable Windows 7 in the office and need to uninstall and reinstall our Adobe Acrobat 11 Standard individual copies.  I followed the article on how to connect to my Adobe account, but he already knew that would not work because we have a great team of COMPUTER and they all have been installed by an employee who is no longer there.  Then of course under my login information, there are no registered codes. I don't have the original redemption Codes or license keys that were given during the installation of the software a few years ago.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I'm afraid there is no option to get the serial number for the installed application from Adobe.

  However, in this case I suggest you look for any 3rd party tool that may be useful to retrieve the serial number to install applications.

  There are separate installers for the Volume and the retail version of Acrobat 9 Std.

• ESXi 5 (vSphere 5) on Xserve: has no license key?

  I managed to install ESXi 5 on my Xserve 3.1 machine.  I have 24G of RAM and 2 x 4 CPUs (8 cores).  I am able to get my hands on the management console using VMWare Fusion 4.0 on my Mac (just didn't buy - no problem)-all right, almost.  I'm about to covert some of my older VMware Server machines above.

  I was under the impression that ESXi 5 was 'free' under a certain amount of memory.  Apparently, the key that I received as part of the download process does not include that or there is a problem of reports of setting up my computer for the software.  I enter the key in the License Manager, and I get a window that says "enter license key doesn't have sufficient capacity for this entity."

  Google returns no hits on this phrase.  So I'm stuck with a hellish copy of ESXi 5, and in fact, I am uncertain even if I bought a copy of ESXi 5 it would work.  I won't go through the effort to convert all my machines, if it is a process of the impasse.

  Someone at - it suggestions?

  PS: the process to get a 'key' for ESXi 5 is probably the most frustrating and circular process I've ever been through, maybe with the exception of trying to work with Microsoft online.

  You have it deployed on multiple servers? Get this free count. I think that that would happen if you went above the CPU restrictions on v4 (I don't know how this will work in v5, however).

• to get to license key expired eval of vsphere 4.0 hypervisor (ESXi free)

  I tried vmware website but am not having a bit of luck, maybe I'm just not up to looking in the right area or using the right terminology.

  My problem, I have a hypervisor host free 4.0, it's in trial mode, so I could test some backup vmware software (which I've never had to). I'm adding a couple more VM but it wont let me because the trial has expired. I just want to register or obtain a license key for the free version with 2 CPU physical for this host, but I can't figure out how to do this. Is it still possible? I can't get a free license for 4.0? I use this host as a temporary of the VM unloading while we have upgraded hard drives in another host. I could just wipe and start over, but the host has a couple VMs on it that I cloned the wire using vmware converter from another host. I don't want to move their return because it is a process of + 3 hours for each of them.

• Help! Installed vCenter Eval, now VIC prompt for license key

  We ran two hosts running ESXi managed by VMware Virtual Infrastructure Client for a few weeks - I think that it's all free software?  I wait until the 21st to order vSphere Essentials but in the meantime thought I could trial vCenter.  I installed vCenter on my laptop but never used, but when I started to VIC I started having a recall notice.  Evaluation having been exhausted, but instead to return to the previous situation where I could use VIC to individually manage the ESXi host, now when I open VIC I get the following message:

  "ESX Server is returned to its previous state of license when the evaluation period expires.  The following features are no longer available: Consolidated Backup.  To enable these features, you must upgrade your ESX Server license. »

  When I try and start one of my virtual machines, I get the following message:

  "There are not enough licenses to complete this operation. "Select the host containing the virtual machine, you are trying to turn on, click the Configuration tab and change the licenses.

  When I connect to my other host I don't get either the message above, so it seems have triggered something on my first host.  All I want to do is continue to run ESXi and VIC as before I installed vCenter - can anyone advise please?  Should I put in the license key you get after registering to download ESXi?

  If your vCenter evaluation has expired, you will need to manage it welcomes as standalone.  When you download ESXi you should have a s/n.  This key must be added where it says "use serial number."

• LR4 upgrade license key work on desktop but not laptop computer?

  I was a licensed copy of Lightroom 3 running on my desktop (iMac). Once LR4 is out, I downloaded LR4 on this machine to use "experimental" Meanwhile on my copy in box of LR4 (upgraded version). Once I get my box copy of LR4, I entered the key to upgrade the LR4 box in Lightroom and (as expected), the software asked for my "previous version" touch since what I entered a upgrade key, rather than a full key. I noticed that he pre-populated my LR3 key (I think as a licensed version of LR3 had already run on this machine). Everything was good - he took the key and compatible software.

  So far so good.

  Now, I just bought a new laptop (MacBook Pro). This machine has never had LR3 on it. I installed LR4 and started using it as a test identical to my office. Once I got my copy converted my LR4 update, I enter the key of the LR4 box in Lightroom, and like on my office asked the key to my 'previous version' of Lightroom. Same thing as before. But this time the LR3 key was not pre-populated (I guess since LR3 never existed on this machine).

  Now, the problem is that when I enter my LR3 key (in collaboration with my LR4 upgrade key) on my laptop, it does not. There is a large "X" to the right of my key as if the key is not valid. I have triple checked the value of the key (it's the serial number of my copy of LR3 in box) and it is correct, and it is the same one who worked on my desk.

  Issues related to the:

  -Does anyone else know what could explain this?

  -Should I really have an installed version of LR3 on my laptop to use the upgrade key to allow LR4? Or I'd just have only installed LR4, and enter my LR3 (full) + the LR4 license keys (upgrade)? I hope that the...
