Convert text frame Rectangle no text

1. is there a way to convert a block of text in text no Rectangle?

2. Furthermore, if anyone can tell me, whenever I have manually to cover my frames of text with the rectangles, new stereotypes to rectangle on the edges of the text block existing as I was expecting, but the resulting rectangle is smaller on all sides. I suspect that this is a problem of race (track of the border), but even when I put it 0px stroke, the rectangle is still too small. How can I fix it?

I can answer question 1, at least.

From there, you can select the text, graphic or Unassigned.

I don't really understand the second question, however. Screenshots might help.

    Unless you use a Web safe font or install a Muse supported TypeKit fonts when designing or on your web page - Muse will turn these words into images to preserve their appearance.

    In addition, whenever you add text and try to create a hyperlink, it is said that the text requires the pixelation and the hyperlink does not work. In this case, either you use a font on the text system or apply the hyperlink to the structure of the whole text, not the selected text.

  • The stroke disappears when I convert text to outline

    I have a type used to describe another type layer. The bottom layer has a run of 8 - pt. But the police cause 'o' to have a point wandering in the upper part. But, when I convert the text to outlines, the race goes and I find myself with the guy who is not sufficiently wide or high.

    (The scaling for the height and width does not have the same effect we're looking for. Unfortunately I'm working on the files of my predecessor, so I have to give the impression that this was the case).

    Any help would be appreciated. I work in ID CS3 and don't really want to create in another program and then import it.

    Thank you.

    Remove the line before converting text outlines. Then add the race after that you described.

  • Convert text file to the recordset

    We have a web server where the text files are downloaded by the outside world, and I need to get the data in these files into my SQL tables.  I can code ColdFusion to convert text files (which are on the same server as web pages) to the recordset so I can have a SQL stored procedure to import data from my SQL tables?

    YES...

    I hope that you are asking here for someone to do it for you, but I want to clarify that the two tags, you will probably want to look at are the tag which allows you to read and analyze some sort of that you care.  And the tag, which may be able to parse the file into a recordset automatically, if it is well structured.

  • Getting a 0 when converting text to a number. need help.

    Hello world

    I am in 2nd year CS design my 1st app for blackberry. I use the code provided by RIM as my starting base.

    My problem is that when I convert a text in a number input using parseInt (foo.text) or (foo.text) Number I have a 0 instead of the number entered by the user. Here is the code I wrote for user input:

    var myInput:TextField = new TextField();
    addChild (myInput);

    myInput.type = "input";
    myInput.border = true;
    myInput.x = 140;
    myInput.y = 40;
    myInput.width = 125;
    myInput.height = 20;

    var n: Number = Number (myInput.text);

    var ntring = String (myInput.text);

    var firstnum = Number (n);
    trace (n);

    the trace function returns a 0. I also tried this:

    var firstnum:TextInput = new TextInput();
    newUfirstnum.width = 200;
    newfirstnum.x = 140;
    newUfirstnum.y = 65;
    newfirstnum. Height = 20;
    addChild (firstnum);

    var input: int = parseInt (firstnum.text);

    trace (Input);

    Does anyone know why I get a 0 and what I can do about it? Any advice would be helpful.

    Thank you.

    Hey,.

    just a follow-up in case you're having trouble, here is a working application that uses the same variables as you did. It is an object TextInput (QNX) and a tag button that click you on to see what the variable text in the TextInput object. When you click on it will trace the value in the debugger:

    package
    {
        import flash.display.Sprite;
        import flash.display.StageAlign;
        import flash.display.StageScaleMode;
        import flash.events.MouseEvent;

        import qnx.ui.buttons.LabelButton;
        import qnx.ui.text.TextInput;

        [SWF(width="1024",height="600",backgroundColor="#CCCCCC",frameRate="30")]
        public class TextInputTest extends Sprite
        {
            /**
             *
             * Place your variables outside of the constructor
             * it makes it easier to work with when using
             * other functions like listener functions

             */
            private var firstnum:TextInput;
            private var myBtn:LabelButton;

            public function TextInputTest()
            {
                super();

                // support autoOrients
                stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;
                stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;

                /**
                 * Create your TextInput object just as you did
                 * before, only this time we wont try to trace
                 * the data in it right away
                 */

                firstnum = new TextInput();

                firstnum.width = 200;
                firstnum.x = 140;
                firstnum.y = 65;
                firstnum.height = 52;

                addChild(firstnum);

                /**

                myBtn = new LabelButton();
                myBtn.label = "Trace!";
                myBtn.setSize(150,52);

                myBtn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onClick);

                addChild(myBtn);
            }

            private function onClick(e:MouseEvent):void
            {
                /**
                 *
                 * here is where we will do our conversion and
                 * output via the trace function

                var input:int = parseInt(firstnum.text);

                trace(input);
            }

        }
    }

    I've inserted comments to help you along the way. also, I want that you notice that ActionScript (Adobe AIR) is all based event. Therefore, use events and listeners to get things moving. hope that helps a little more. Good luck!

  • How can I convert text to XML format in plain text?

    Oracle 11 g 2: 11.2.0.4.0

    I have data that is parsed from XML and saved in a table as a field of type VARCHAR.

    The text is formatted as follows:

    <span style="font-family:'Times New Roman','serif'; font-size:12pt">24 PC'S "6 x 4up arrays" =  MAX FOR MIN QTY AT INDICATED LOT CHARGE </span><br> Material currently in stock

    I need to remove the formatting and convert the text to this:

    24 PC'S 6 x 4up arrays MAX FOR MIN QTY AT INDICATED LOT CHARGE Material currently in stock

    Is there an existing function in SQL or PL/SQL that will decode the formatting?

    Thank you

    -Johnnie

    This text is a string of HTML to the doubling actually escape sequence, because it contains a
    tag.

    Therefore, you must:

    -unescape any coded entities twice

    -replace the
    tag with a character LF - optional step depends on how you want to manage

    -remove all tags (using a regular expression)

    -eliminate the remaining entities

    This query will do:

    SQL> select utl_i18n.unescape_reference(

  • Convert text to outlines if it's in a group? [JS] [CS6]

    First of all I must say this: I know the controversy 'convert to outline text' and 'correctly describing the text. " But in this case, it must be done the wrong way and reasons have never heard of, but I can't waste time to explain. Please just understand that we are unable of alternatives to the text of the Independent exhibitor. We have the text in the document itself.

    In any case, so I have this old javascript I found here on the forums and slightly modified so it converted the text on each page.

    It was working fine when I used it in conjunction with a script that disassociated completely everything that (as you know you cannot convert the text to outlines unless it disassociated)... that is until I realized that some documents I was working with had the effects of group and they would be lost after dissociation. Unfortunately there is no easy way to preserve the effects of group without script.

    However, I couldn't find a script which separated only my text or even this only separated groups without applied effects. There was this thread beginning: help to decouple script which had a user trying to create one to ignore groups with effects, but seems not have never been completed.

    So, here is what I hope to do: below is the script I used him convert all text in text converted to outlines (and also delete the original text block).

    We could it change it returns all objects in text, not just dissociated from those? I wish I could do it myself, but I don't know how to do some very light modding scripts. I appreciate a lot of help.

    myPage = app.activeDocument;

    for (j = myPage.textFrames.length - 1; j > = 0; j-) {}

    try {}

    myPage.textFrames [j] .createOutlines ();

    myPage.textFrames [j] .remove ();

    } catch (e) {}

    }

    EDIT: I found something here that may be of some use:app.activeDocument.allPageItems;

    Top of page answer says that "' allPageItems is almost guaranteed to return all the elements of the page, all kinds and persuasion, inside groups or other frameworks or whatnot. '"

    I thought I knew exactly what to do, which is to add the "." AllPageItems 'after app.activeDocument.

    However, when I run the script, I get a javascript error, saying "undefined is not an object" on line 2.

    My ideas run there.

    Hello

    You need seems to be this:

    var a = app.activeDocument.allPageItems,
        t;

    while( t=a.pop() )
        {
        if( !(t instanceof TextFrame) ) continue;
        try{ t.createOutlines(true) } catch(_){}
        }

  • How to convert text to curves when importing PDF?

    Embedding fonts substitution with the OK button, prompt at best. Flattening of the forces a pixelation trying to keep own colors. See not a lot of options beyond import twice with two methods, then by removing items that don't work for everyone.

    Or use acrobat to convert the text to curves. Add a watermark in acrobat. Check the watermark just a period. Transparent in the WM dialog box. Go to the flattening of transparencies. Check the box to convert the text to curves. Save a new version of the PDF file. Place or open it in illy.

  • Convert text of reference

    Does anyone have a script that will convert cross-references to the text? In other words, I want to be able to remove the link between the referral but keep the static text in place.

    Editorial comment: I set up on my local computer several books in CS6 and used cross references, and everything worked fine. Then I moved the files to a network location and began to suffer from this painful slowdown that I had known in previous versions of InDesign. (I stupidly thought that adobe would have fixed that now. My mistake).

    Ah, Yes, you can't text remove(). Had not noticed that in the little test. You must set an empty string:

    var xrefs = app.documents[0].crossReferenceSources.everyItem().getElements();
    for (var i = xrefs.length-1; i > -1; i--){
        xrefs[i].sourceText.insertionPoints[-1].contents = xrefs[i].sourceText.contents;
        xrefs[i].sourceText.contents = "";
    }
