  OK, I did install them all. Now when I go to Thunderbird the gContactSync
  the button appears in my toolbar drop-down list of options are many. When I choose "sync" I receive a message of solicitation for ' sign before the synchronization attempt. Connect to what? I am connected to two my gmail account and my account in Thunderbird.

  You can import the address book into a new address book. That drag and drop contacts imported to your personal address book.

  Personal and collected address books are the books by default and cannot be deleted.
  You can select all the contacts in the book of MAC and move them to the personal address book.
