cool mode cp1515n

Hello

"cool mode" displays all 3 pages print, any help?

Thank you

I would like to start with the practice of the product the purpose clearly the error message. A hard reset will attempt to restore the printer to a known working state. No user settings are lost with a hard reset.
1. with the printer plugged directly into a wall outlet and turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
2 then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
3. wait at least 30-60 seconds
4. plug the power cord into the wall outlet first. If a module with the power cord, make sure that the light of the module lights up, then
reconnect the power cord on the back of the printer
5. the printer should power back on by itself, but if not use the power button on front panel to turn on machine.

  • Satellite A135-S4666 - cooling fan turns on and turns off every 20 seconds

    Hello

I'm from the Argentina... I just bought a new Satellite A135-S4666 and I noticed that the cooling fan turns on and turns off every 20 seconds.
It is a little annoying and it disctracts me of what I'm doing... is there a solution?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Martin,

This behavior is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. If you find the noise irritating cooling fans you are likely to change their behavior by using the utility of Toshiba power where you should be able to set the cooling mode to run more quietly. I think trhe default is to allow the CPU to run at full speed, which will, of course, the fans turn every few seconds, but by reducing the speed of the CPU, the heat produced will be lower and therefore the fans will run less often.

    Kind regards

  • Cool sense 2.2 sucks!

    Hello

I recently updated my win 7 to win 8.1 (I have pavilion dv6-6080). My fan was too noisy and worked with the CPU usage bit. I downloaded and installed coolsense 2.2 but surprisingly it does allow me to choose the option of calmer mode as the old version and now it's the noise drives me crazy, I want my loptop to be mode possible quitest but burning, how can I change the settings, please help I can't use my laptop this way

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. After passing for win 7, I installed hp support assistant whithin coming coolsense 1.0. Then I found somewhere that it also works on win 8 so once again I'm spent to win 8 and installed the old hp support assistant and it worked, but it took me a whole day. I wish hp would let users option too choose which mode they want to coolsense 2.2 (cool mode, performance or quieter).

    Thanks anyway.

  • Cooling, it is good or bad for the Z5? Advice needed!

    Hi Sony'enthousiasts.

I love my Sony Xperia Z5. It's a great phone! However, it becomes warm, especially during a hot summer day while using intensely or full sun! Just to be clear, my phone is not overheating.

    The problem:

The problem is with the battery-life/performative and put in charge while the unit is hot. My phone seems slower load and unload faster when it's hot. Even the closing apps, the screen turns off / stand-by and restart the device do not change the apparent slowdown of the battery performance.

    Experience:

Today, my phone was hot enough for heavy use. The battery is almost empty and I started to charge, without great results (just constant heat and a percentage or increase of five).

I used a cool wet towel to remove heat. The towel was a little cooler than the phone. The body of the Z5 is designed to make the internal parts of the heat so my thought was to use the towel to cool the body of my Z5.

    The result:

To my surprise, the phone can now be charged temperature as it always does. The performance as well. Of course, I was very happy with the results of this experiment of cooling

    My question:

    In light of this;

    1. you are not stupid (throw the Z5 in a freezer or keep it under water

    2. the difference in temperature is not extreme and the glass of the cracks

Assists the Z5, with bad cooling for the device or the battery?

Sony Xperia Support, please share your advice

@VE_ . in my opinion I think this is a good procedure, but I prefer to cool naturally... but the way you describe it is not too drastic a cooling mode, by report you mention to some posts I saw for the Z complete series of phones to put it in a freezer or droppping in water, a much too sudden drop of temperature & asking for trouble

I don't see your way of cooling affecting or damage to anything related to the components of the phone... but to point out it is my opinion & not Sonys

  • Noice from the fan on the Satellite A100-994

    Hello
I recently bought an A100-994, which has a Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.GHz) processor. I noticed that the fan is always on at low speed at least that I put it out at very low outdoor temperatures when it stops. But normally inside it is still running.

I compared with other new A100 models with lower processor (specifically with a Core Duo 1.66 GHz) and is not the case, and those who are quieter than mine. I asked the tech support and they told me that in some models of the family A100 fan runs continuously and a reason to do in mine should be that my processor is more powerful and so hot more easily.

I would like to know if anyone else has noticed this kind of behavior in A100 laptop computers and if there is a way to control the speed of the fan so that it does not work in idle mode. Already tried speedfan and other programs, but they don't control fand speeds, only to read temperatures.

    Thank you

    Hi guys

I put t see any problems. It of a normal behavior that the fan runs at a lower speed.
If the temperature increases, the fan will run a lot faster.

Check if the energy saver has been installed on the laptop you. There, you can control the speed of the CPU and cooling mode in the basic menu.

@marbo3d: C 75 is not too high. You can check the CPU specs on the Intel site

  • Satellite L850 - 12 H - notification problem fan

    Hello

    I have a Satellite L850 - 12H.

I bought it almost two years ago and at the beginning I had some problems of fan.

After I started there was a message telling me that the cooling system had been damaged and that I should contact Toshiba support so that it can be fixed.

After I pressed Ok on this message my fan would go close to 100%, which was a pretty annoying sound but the machine was always cool and never had any performance issues.

There are tho, the message is stopped and now im stuck with the fan works once every 5 minutes that is bad cause I use this laptop mainly for games and im get FPS quite low, even when the games are set on high performance and low "eye-candy".

Is it possible that I can bring this message back, or even manually the fan start and stop when I need it?

    Thanks in advance.

As I know there is no way to get this message on the screen.
This notification if a problem with a module of cooling would be detected.
What you can do is to change the cooling mode in the Windows power options.

I guess that you are still using Windows 7 OS pre-installed.

In this HowTO you find details where necessary option.

  • Performance of the fans on Satellite L30-134

    Hello

I have a question about the performance of the cpu on my L30-134 fans (celeron M 410 @1. 46 ghz). Some users posted similar questions on different laptops series L, but I'd love to hear some comments L30 - 134 user/advice.

The problem is that by default, the fan does not work on the down low all the time, but it is off and goes on every 2-3 minutes hit RPM high and causing a lot of noise. Sometimes however it works down low most of the time, being really quiet and keep the temperature at 48 to 55 degrees, while during for turning on and off the temperature is 58-65.

There are two options for cooling in Toshiba Power Saver (which came preinstalled) we're max performance, the other is to optimize the battery. The fan seems to work on the Tower on / disable system regardless of the option selected.

Q1 Do these two options are actually on the fan is constantly working on low speed or activation and deactivation?
Q2 How can I do the fan runs all the time at low revs?
Q3 is there third-party security programs to control the fan speed?

PS: I don't have all of the options on the fan speed in the BIOS

I'd appreciate your comments. It is not fun to have a noisy fan :)

    Hello

As you have already mentioned the Toshiba Power saver is preinstalled on your device.
My phone supports also this utility and energy saver controls the speed of the CPU and cooling mode.
M unit fan starts to turn if the temperature rises to a higher level, but it depends on the use of the laptop. I don t play much games performance, but I use my camera for graphic design. Sometimes, the fans run really fast and long, but sometimes the laptop is quite.
My support of intelligence tools speed level 4 CPU processing power and cooling method is the value max performance.
I think the cooling also depends on the environment

Moreover, I also read a lot of reviews on the cooling fan rotation and. Sometimes, the update of the BIOS changed the performance of fans

A small comment to Q3: Don t think that any 3rd party application will control the performance of the fans properly. If the energy saver is not installed on the device, the power of Microsoft options are responsible for execution.

  • Fan has stopped working on the satellite

I've had the laptop for jusy 7 weeks and the fan has stopped working. It always seemed that he ran too to what looks like at full speed almost constantly, but now its stopped.

I just tried to call the helpline and ended up leaving a message to be recalled. They work on Sunday?

How long they tend to take to fix these things?

    Hello

I put t know 100% if they work on Sunday, but I presume that they don t
However, can you please tell what camera do you use?

I can t believe that if fans stopped working then the laptop should automatically stops or the CPU overheats! It is very dangerous because the laptop and the motherboard may cause damage.
So if the fans don't turn you should not turn on the laptop.

But maybe the cooling modules run only with the lower speed?
This is not unusual. The BIOS and the energy-saving control the speed of the CPU and cooling modes. Fans should not run with maximum efficiency if the temperature does not increase.

  • Operating on Satellite A100 temperature

    Hello

I have a laptop Satellite A100 - 237 (PSAA9). I recently updated my BIOS of 1.20 to 2.00 because the unit cannot detach confirmation. After the update, I noticed that the fan of the laptop is still at the average speed to high independently operating environment, CPU load, etc.. It keeps spinning and spinning and my CPU temperature is much higher than before, still at about 57-58 C.

Now, I don't have a clear idea what, exactly, are the limits of the operating temperature normal for my CPU (Centrino Duo 1.83 GHz) but I guess 57-58 C is a little higher. I do not suffer slowdowns or spontaneous reboots or the camera, the unit performs all also large, but heat becomes distress after a while and I'm afraid that I can run in VERY SOON heat-related problems. The unit cools pretty quickly - down a bit - and when I put it to sleep, but after session restore heat accumulate again. In addition, the heat is more visible on the left side of the device, but I think is quite normal that the CPU and the HARD drive is located on the left.

I bought my camera in August and have not been cleaned once again. I should get cleaned CPU fan? Wouldn't be of any help?

The temperature of the CPU of 57-58 C is not uncommon. It s a normal life. I guess the CPU temperature can increases to 70 ° C when performance heavy as 3D or games software is running.
Of course, it s advisable to clean the fans from time to time.

But what about Toshiba Power saver settings? Here, you can change the CPU speed treatment and cooling modes.

  • CPU Temperatur on Satellite L50-B-27N

    Hello

I just bought a Toshiba L50 B 27N Notebook. Installed Windows 8.1, all drivers of Toshiba page.

I would also like to play games with it, but when you play a game, after a few seconds, the framerate drops for a few seconds, then they increase again, then unmold and so forth.

I noticed that in the same cycle of the CPU load increases, decreases and so on, but only for max 80%, while the CPU frequency is lowered.

HWInfo said, that in this case the CPU temperature increases to 103 dregree. I think the system with this temperature slows down. If someone can confirm this?

If so, what is a 'feature' by design, which means I can't use the laptop in Direct 3D mode?

    Thank you and best regards

Start a game, all parts laptop as CPU/GPU are stressed are fully utilized.
This increases the dissipation of heat and of course the temperature.

Also the settings of the game have great influence on the performance of the laptop.
Launch a game using high graphic details would slow down the system because the CPU and the GPU needs to manage the large amount of graphic details.

Well, your question is related to the temperature of the CPU.
I think you should check the cooling mode in Windows power settings.
In the advanced power settings, you can change the mode of cooling so the % for max and min CPU performance.

I recommend you degrade the performance of the processor %; That is to say 90-95%.
I guess it would decrease the temperature of the CPU too.

  • Stop the fan from the CPU in a few seconds (T440)

CPU fan stop my T440 after a few seconds,

When I turned computer on I heard his fan and air jet, but after a few seconds the fan seem to be collapsed, is this normal?

    Hello

In cooling mode active, while the CPU temperature is low (usually about 55 degrees), the fan is beeng rotation at low speed, about 2000 RPM. Good quality fan is very silent on this mode.

In any case, you could check if the fan is spinning by the hardware test tool, HWiNFO is an example.

Of course, once the laptop is on, the fan starts to work at the POST stage too.

  • Lenovo H520s

I've had this computer for the and he bought in conjunction with a generic monitor non - PNP and since I bought it I had a black line on the side of my screen that pushes my alittle display, the resolution is 1920 x 1080 I tried to use the control panel to bring it back, but I would like to repeat this step whenever I turn on my pc , so I bought a GTX 650 descrete graphics card and a new PSU and have had work for awhile and it allowed me to change my resolution 1920 x 1200 where it fits perfectly, but since I unplugged it, it has reset and now it says the resolution is not supported. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply but I already thought about it, I just basically started my computer in cooling mode that wiped my computer but kept my files in a "windows.old" folder so I could simply return my computer to normal and stable my drivers and it works perfectly again.
In any case thanks for the reply,

  • HPLaserjet 100 color MFP M175a: hp laserjet 100 color mfp m175a suddenly very slow

I have a printer HP LaserJet 100 color MFP M175a, which has always worked well (except when in cooling mode). All of a sudden he started printing very slowly: for example, last night I sent a document of 20 pages to print at about 21:00 and was still waiting for it to end at midnight!

Nothing has been changed in the settings.

What can I do to fix this?

Thanks for letting me know NOG55.

Have you tried another USB cable? Just to rule out it.

Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.

On the printer, select the Setup button, reports, report of Config.

    That print slow or fast?

If you encounter this problem with printing of the hardware self-test also, update the firmware of the printer.

Software & drivers. Select your operating system, click Next, click the link for the firmware.

If you're just the printing of the computer problem, uninstall and reinstall the printer software.

    Thank you.

  • Update wireless adapter on Sony Vaio VPCF23EFX

    Hi all

I want to improve my Atheros AR9287 wireless adapter that came with my Vaio laptop.

I try to have the party upgrade compatible with the dual-band standard and therefore, compatible with our new 802.11ac 802.11ac router.

    1 is it possible?

2 the warranty of your laptop?

    3. what features should I know to make sure that I have replace the Atheros AR9287 with a compatible part?

    4. any consideration that everyone thinks I should be aware?

    Thank you

    edsager

Simple answer is probably yes. From my experience, Sony doesn't have a white list of BIOS for WLAN and WWAN like HP or Lenovo cards (right I CALL YOU OF HP and Lenovo!)

Your computer has an access panel at the bottom of the laptop user? If so, have you tried to open it to see what is available? Most manufacturers make the adapter wireless network accessible from the bottom panel or under the keyboard.

I can't say what expansion supported by your portable computer based on interface specifications:

    http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/p/model-home.pl?MDL=VPCF23EFX&template_id=1&Region_ID=1&tab=manuals#/man...

But it is probably mini PCIe or mini PCI. The difference is quite obvious because of the size and the number of connectors. M2 is the new interface used by the last SSD and some WLAN adapters, but the probability that your computer is using m2 is weak.

See Mini PCIe vs Mini PCI

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express#PCI_Express_Mini_Card

    See m2

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/M.2

This type of upgrade should not void your warranty, because it's an aftermarket upgrade, not a change (for example cooling mods, because you replacings stock thermal compound and by adding coppershims etc to make this kind of change), however, to keep the old card around in the case where you have to call support because they like stock options in laptops before providing support if they tell me that they fully support you because they don't know if updates of spare caused problems, blah blah blah.
