Copy and paste files information metadata author information?

I format multiple files of a database online and want to copy the information from the author of the metadata in the file Info field and paste it on the photo itself. It will be a watermark. I want to do it in batches.

If anyone can help me with a script for this, I'd be much abliged.

Thank you!

I was missing a pair of brackets in my post "flatten"; cause should have flatten(); to add additional text, you can just concat to the end of string.

#target photoshop

app.bringToFront ();

main() {} function

If (app.documents.length == 0) {}

Alert (' you have NO documents open?');

return;

}

app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.NO;

var app.activeDocument = docRef;

with (docRef) {}

var docWidth = width;

var docHeight = height;

var thisAuthor = info.author;

var nameLayer = artLayers.add)

nameLayer.kind = LayerKind.TEXT

nameLayer.textItem.contents = thisAuthor + "/ Getty Images;

nameLayer.textItem.size = 24;

Flatten();

Save();

Close();

}

};

main();

    A pdf file is essentially an image of the text, not the text
    himself. What he can do with that image depends on the reading of pdf
    the program he uses.

    Like most people, it probably uses Adobe Reader, the most popular, but
    not the best. I recommend that he go to Foxit Reader (to

    better in my opinion and can do what he wants.

  • Change the default copy and paste file or folder name to FileName (n)

    Hello

    I'm not sue if there is a correction that relates to windows or office other programs.

    I was wondering if there is an easy way, I could set up the default naming for files or the folders that I have copy and paste then. By example, if I copy a file called "Filename" and paste the copy in the same location, the name of the default copy is now given a name 'copy file name. Is it possible to change the default "FileName (n)" value, where n is 1 or 2 or... .depends on the question of whether or not a file with that number already exists.

    I use windows 7 and office 2010. I have a 'SuperCopier22beta' program that I think is the copy/paste?

    Thanks for the help.

    Hello

    There is not a way to change the default behavior of copy file name. There may be a 3rd party program, but common way is by design.

    Thanks and regards.

  • Copy and paste files from Win 7 to XP via the Cmd prompt

    Hello

    I have a Win 7 PC and one PC XP network (wireless and using the same router).

    My goal is to copy and paste all the files that I have worked over the last 24 hours of my Win 7 PC to my XP PC, and this is the script that I have to do:

    c:\data - r dir |? {! ($_. {PSIsContainer) - AND $_.lastwritetime - gt (get-date) .date} |

    % {Copy-Item-path $_ .fullname-destination \\hyperv1\shared\backup}

    I presume that I type that in the prompt on a daily basis, but how better to customize the script, please?

    Say, for example, I have a file called WebSite10 (created in Visual Studio) that can be found here:

    C:\Users\Steve\Documents\Visual Studio\Website10

    on my Win 7 PC and I want to copy and paste it in the folder Documents shared on my XP PC.

    Thanks for any advice.

    I can cut/copy and paste the url and the text to speech, etc, but I am unable to cut/copy and paste files in Windows File Explorer. I tried malwarebytes and virus programs running. HP support has tried to access remotely to identify the problem without success. Y at - it another option in addition to a factory reset or restore point? Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi jdavis33811,

    Have you tried the three methods of cutting and pasting? Using the keyboard shortcuts CTRL-X CTRL-V, right click on the file and selecting cut, then using the tape from the file Explorer / File menu.

    If you have tried all three, the next thing to try is a boot minimum to see if something is in the background to block the order. A clean boot loads Windows with the drivers and the minimal software. This link of Support technique Microsoft will show you how do it.

    Once you have made the clean boot try three methods of cutting and pasting. If it works the next step is to go back to msconfig (see Microsoft link above) and enable half the services you shut-off valve to the clean boot. Then try to cut and paste again. Keep half of the remaining services that allows until you cannot cut and paste, then disable half of the services that you just active. This, until what specify you what service has problem.

    If after all that you still have a problem then the next step would be to backup your files on an external hard drive or a USB flash drive and then doing a complete System Recovery.

  • cannot copy and paste in windows 7

    I can't copy and paste to and from three different applications since the upgrade of Windows Vista 64 - Bit of Windows 7 (64-bit).  These features have worked in applications before the upgrade.  These applications are all WYSIWYG web design programs.  These programs are 1.0 Version of NVU, Kompozer (4 different versions) and Amaya Version 11.3.1. None of the functions work copy and paste in these programs in the normal start to fashion, but all copy and paste functions work properly in these programs when the computer is started in Mode safe mode with network support. I have five different word-processing programs on the computer and I can freely copy and paste without ANY problem between these programs.  I can also copy and paste files into the Windows folder without any problem. However, I can't copy or paste to or from applications of word processing in the three programs that presenting a malfunction.  Can't copy programs with a malfunction in one of the word processors.  Word-processing programs include Wordperfect X 4, Microsoft Word 2000, Microsoft Works 9.0, Windows 7 Notepad and Wordpad in Windows 7.  I disabled the anti virus program and its firewall.  The Windows Firewall is disabled. I run to my firewall and virus CA Security Suite 10.  I also tried to go through all three of the defective programs in each Windows of Windows 98SE Windows Vista SP2 Compatibility Mode.  I called HP Tech support and they had me to remove the following file in the Windows registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\appinit_dlls.

    Then, they had me look for a file (plow... or something similar) which is not found in the Windows\System 32 folder.  When this file is not found in the System 32 directory, I am told that I had a problem with MALICIOUS software.  After getting off the phone with them I did a full scan using Windows Defender and it did not find any problem.  After completing the analysis Windows Defender, I ran a full scan of the computer using the program CA Security Suite Virus Scan and it did not find any problem.  It makes no sense to me that copy and paste in these applications will work in Mode safe mode but not in Normal Mode.  As a digression, WordPerfect X 4 caused an error Code 38 when I tried to open it in Mode safe (it works fine in normal mode).

  • copy and paste from word document pdf document

    Not really. This is not normal or regular way of working with PDF files, for which edition is a last desperate resort.

    Generally, you can stick once you have selected the right to the tool for editing and selected from the existing text, but there is little useful reflow. You should do all the work in Word if possible.

  • Copy and paste in Windows Explorer on Windows 7

    I can't copy and paste files and windows Explorer stops after all attempts.

    I replaced with a new version of Internet Explorer 11

    The same symptoms occur when it is in safe mode.

    Is it possible to download a new version of the file Explorer?

    You can get the latest version of the file Explorer by Windows Update. Since you said that the problem still occurs in safe mode, you can also try to do the following steps:

    1. Clean boot

      2. On the general tab, click Selective startup.
      3. Under Selective startup, clear the check box load starting points.
      4. Click the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
      5. Click OK.
      6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
      7. After the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

    If the problem is resolved to check what is the cause of the problem, referring to the link below:

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/929135.

    8. in addition, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software problem on your computer.
    Reset the computer to start as usual
    9. When you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
    10. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue. On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    11. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    2. We also recommend to run online Virus Scan to remove any infections, as appropriate.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you.

  • Losing layer and names during the copy and pasting information

    I have an illustrator CS4 file which is a character created in a single layer.  Within this layer are many sublayers, with specific naming conventions.  For example, there is a head entitled layer, and within the head's eyes nose mouth etc. When I copy and paste into another document all my layer information is destroyed. Any ideas?

    In the target document, select "Paste remembers layers" in the layers panel.
