Copy of DVD of Windows 7

Hello

I recently bought a new computer with WIN 7 64 bit. AND I got in trouble a few days updating my Windows because it lacks a BIT files service. When I bought my computer I have not received the installation DVD of Windows because it was preinstalled. But I still have a copy of the Windows DVD.

How to get one with my windows license number?

Thank you in advance.

  • How can I copy a CD/DVD in Windows 7 without any additional software?

Well... I want to make a copy of a CD/DVD in Windows 7 without having to install any additional software. Is this possible? I mean I really think something like option to copy CDs that are extremely easy to find.

The answer is you can't. Not with Windows 7 64 Bit Enterprise Service Pack 1 when you are a user and not an administrator.

& Support offers you a video to show you how to copy the data from your computer to a disc that can be used on a variety of devices (called a mastered disc) or copy data to a disc that works as a (Directory Live) USB Flash drive on an XP or a newer operating system.

You will need additional software installed on your computer, you can install if you have administrator privileges on your machine.

  • I can't play DVDs in Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7 Pro and get this error msg: Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with the digital copy between your DVD drive decoder and video card protection.

Hello, thanks for reading and helping me.

I try to play a legitimate, belonging to DVD, but Windows Media Player 12 will not play on my computer Windows 7 Professional.  The DVD worked a few days ago, but all of a sudden, I get the following error message:

"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with the digital copy between your DVD player and the video card protection decoder. Try to install a driver available for your video card.

I did a lot of research of these forums and on the ' net.  Here are the suggested steps I tried without success:

    • I tried VLC player.  This works.  However, rather than use this workaround, I wish to find a solution to my problem WMP/WMC.
    • I tried several DVD for years over the last decade.  These DVD works on my laptop, also running Windows 7 Professional and the shark 007 codec.
    • I uninstalled my Shark 007 codec
    • I tried other codecs (K-Lite)
    • I assured that the latest drivers are installed on my video card, XFX ATI Radeon 5850
    • I tried to uninstall Nero 9
    • I tried to use the Windows 7 troubleshooting options:
    • > Reading and burning CD, DVD and Blu - ray (no problem)
    • > Windows Media Player DVD (no problem)
    • > Windows Media Player Settings (detects a problem, wants to restore factory settings, every time, no matter what happens)
    • A system restore to a time when the DVD was working did not resolve the issue
    • The different links in Microsoft, I found in this forum about this problem do not seem to be useful.  There is a link that points to the set-top boxes, but this page just says: "Windows 7 comes with a decoder.
    • I assured the latest driver is available by going to "Device Manager", right click on the drive, then click on "update driver software".
    • I assured that the latest firmware is installed directly from the manufacturer's website.
    • I tried to reset my DRM by renaming the DRM under C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows folder and by going to this Web site to upgrade:http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1
    • I've uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Media Player 12 and Windows Media Center via the function "functionality in Windows.

I would be very grateful if a Microsoft technology could chime.  Thanks for your help!

    2. the application will allow you to choose from a variety of different media on which the recovery image can be copied, including DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD - RW, DVD + R, DVD + R DL and DVD + RW.

    3. turn on your computer and let it load Windows 7 operating system from the hard disk as usual.

    4. Insert the first blank media into the optical disc drive tray.

5 double-click on the Recovery Disc Creator on the Windows7 desktop icon, or select the application from the Start Menu.

    6. After Recovery Disc Creator starts, select the type of media and the title you want to copy, and then click Create. If your optical disc drive can only write to CDs, select "CD" as the 'Disc Set' in the Recovery Disc Creator application. Otherwise, if your optical disc drive can write CD and DVD, select the media type you want to create.

If your copy of Windows is an OEM (delivered in a cardboard cover, as a single disc) then no. - the license was related to the motherboard of a fist on which it was installed.

If it's a complete detail of the product (fancy box, two discs), then Yes, you can install it in the new - activate by phone.

DVD files you need for editing are the
. VOB files. Copy them to a folder on your hard drive
drive. You can find them on the DVD in the VIDEO_TS
    folder.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
. MPG and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...

  • Is there a free software to convert DVDs to Windows Movie Maker software

    Hello

I have a problem loading the images to a DVD in Windows Movie Maker. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm looking free software which will convert a DVD to a file compatible Windows Movie Maker.
    Thank you.

The following steps may be worth a try...

I'm guessing that this isn't a step a commercial DVD
with protection against copying? If_yes_read on...

FWIW... break the copy protection on
    commercial DVDs is illegal.

Insert the DVD into your DVD drive... If AutoPlay or
Launch of Windows Media Player... just close them.

Now... to... Start / computer... a click right on the
icon for the DVD player is in and choose...
Open or explore... it allows to display the directory
    the DVD.

Find the VIDEO_TS folder and open it... video
    files have a. Extension VOB.
Copy them to a folder on your hard drive... it
Maybe more than VOB files and those with the
larger sizes of files are the ones you need.

If you're running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate...
You may be able to import the VOB files directly
    in Movie Maker.

If not, try renaming the. VOB files. MPG or
. AVI and try to import into Movie Maker. If this
works... drag in the timeline, one at a time
and publish (save) in the .wmv format.
Then reimport the files for editing .wmv.

If still no success... you will need to convert the. VOB
format .wmv before import into movie files
    Machine to...

There are to many converters available on the net...
