Copy of the subprogrammes in another schema

I need to copy 3 functions of one schema to another. I already have connections for both of these patterns. Can someone tell me the best way to do it? It seems that you can just drag and drop.
I use the version 1.5.4.
Thank you.

All PL/SQL in sqldev is formed as a executable script, then you can simply copy the content of the functions to the Clipboard, and then paste it into the spreadsheet to the destination schema and run (F9 or F5).
For larger volumes, better use of the database or export Diff tools.

Have fun
K.

  • reading of the objects in another schema schema

    My requirement is to create a schema and grant privileges to read all objects in another main schema, including the functions and procedures. creating a role and assigning it to the schema will read or select the tables, but she will not allow the user to see the description of a function, or a procedure. can you please tell me what are my options. Thank you.

    Hello

    Yes you can GRANT SELECT privilege to allow access to Tables / views, and GRANT EXECUTE privilege on the procedures in another schema.

    You can also CREATE SYNONYM of these Tables in order to hide their location. There is a way to ensure the transparency of the location, otherwise use views or procedures.

    These links can give you a few tracks on the transparency of the situation and manage privileges:

    The SYS schema is a special schema in Oracle. You must explicitly grant the user rights by selecting tables and views sys.

  • Need some ideas on the copy of the data from one schema to another.

    Dear all,

    I would like to know the best method and possible by copying data from one schema to another. (I won't use EXP / IMP).
    Example:

    I have a scheme of production on which I have hundreds of tables. I copy the data of the TEST environment after comparing data, I should copy the data incrementally.
    Maybe this copy of data may occur once a month, or on request.

    I want to have this done by a procedure.
    I was thinking about the logic below, using a procedure I will compare the tables and the structures between the two schemas.
    Then I willl use the primary key in both tables column and compare the data first. If the data if it does not exist then I only inserts these records in the target.
    The above said logic could be as similar as the synchronization of data or records, but the table does not all columns to track records archived / copied from the source.
    Suggest me so if you can give me the best logic or solution.

    Thanks in advance...

    I don't know why you don't want to opt for EXP/IMP.
    As an alternative, if you have a link DB between Production and Test pattern (which I seriously doubt), you can use the MERGER to a copy of data from Production to Test Delta.
    a. INTRODUCE IN test_schema.table_name SELECT sequence_columns, column_list FROM (SELECT column_list FROM prod_schema.table_name LESS SELECT column_list from test_schema.table_name)
    Column_list must not contain columns that contain sequence values because they may differ and result in an incorrect result; Therefore, this is taken into account in the outer query rather than Inline mode.
    b. MERGE STATEMENT
    c. FALL of test_schema.table_name. CREATE test_schema.table_name as SELECT column_list from prod_schema.table_name; -A way very neat to copy all the data, provided you do not keep any changes to test the tables in the schema.

    However, you mentioned to find existing records based on the primary key; IMO, primary key is normally a sequence (may be alphanumeric) and its value on env Production and Test may defer or even can have different attributes, therefore, I find it incorrect to match only the primary keys. I would say to match the key attributes.

    If you want to follow the last update/insert for a record, you can add a column that puts the time of last modification. In this way, you can track the changes of a column. Another alternative would be to use a check to the table.

  • Is it possible to access backups performed by a single copy of the Lr of another copy?

    After trying to help anewer a question asked by someone who is original Mac had apparently broken irreparably, I was wondering if it was possible to do what I asked above - backups of access by a single computer in unworking, that were said to be stored in the cloud, another copy of Lr on another machine?

    If I had two machines, I would try it myself, but I only have one office.

    If you download the catalog from the cloud file and place it on your computer, and then in Lightroom using file-> open catalog.

    Of course, you would need to recreate a link to the photos on your computer, otherwise you will not see the photos and you will not be able to do anything in this downloaded catalog.

  • Expdp tables a schema and all the objects in another schema

    Hello

    Is there a way we can export tables to a diagram and everything else a diagram? I tried below, but none of them did the job.

    schemas = b, c

    include = table: "in (a. 'Table1'., 'Table2')" "

    The datapump has several modes:

    "Full import mode.

    "Schema Mode".

    "Table mode".

    'Space Mode '.

    "Transportable Tablespace mode."

    It seems that datapump cannot be in one mode at a time.

    So you have to choose the mode of table first, then for the following export select pattern mode.

  • How to create the table in another schema of database even

    Hello..

    I have a database DB1
    and 2 patterns / users in this...
    Usr1 and Usr2...

    I created a TEMP Usr1 schema table... and created

    Then tried the following declaration in the schema Usr2...

    CREATE TABLE TEMP AS SELECT * FROM Usr1.TEMP;

    Then it is in error that...
    : 00942 TABLE OR VIEW DOES NOT EXIST...

    What is the reason for this...

    Thank you

    You must make this grant on any new table, you create in usr1 and you want to use in the usr2 schema.

    Its not desirable, but you can give system privileges

    grant select to usr2.

    USR2 can select on any table.

  • A t540p copy of the data to another

    Hi, what is the best way to move all of my current t540p to the new? Both have the same OS, win7.

    I thought backup on external USB drive and then restore?

    Thank you

    Hi Dxk,

    Thanks for the reply!

    That is fine, but it will be rarely used, you can also check with file transfer network that will be even easier to transfer the DATA. Or if you want to keep the backup of your external drive, you can use your external HARD drive.

    I hope this helps!

  • How to allow a user to view all the tables from another schema?

    I have a 'vic4ever' scheme where I have created all my tables. Now, I create a new user named "nvvp1". So, I want to enable nvvp1 display all tables in a schema vic4ever. But I don't know how to do! Or I need to run this command for each table?
    Grant select on vic4ever.table1 to nvvp1;
    Grant select on vic4ever.table2 to nvvp1;

    Yes, that's what you have to do, but you could speed up a bit:

    BEGIN

      LOOP
        EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'Grant select on vic4ever.' || cur_rec.table_name || ' to nvvp1';

  • How to copy all the tables, triggers, etc, from a schema from one user to another

    Hello everyone!

    I'm looking for a QUERY or a stored procedure to copy the tables of a schema of the user to a different schema.

    Should resemble the kind of: copy (select * from object where owner = 'UserIwantToCopyFrom') user = "UserIwantToCopyTO".

    I'm sure that my example is rubbish, but I tried to explain what I want to do.

    Then there is a chance to do in sql code? I have to build a model of a schema of the user with hundreds of tables, triggers, etc. and copy it into several other user patterns.

    Thanks for your advice!

    Jan

    There are many examples available.
    What you generally want to do is:

    For the export, use the job_mode-online option "SCHEMA".
    Example of export

    http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/OracleDataPump10g.php

    DECLARE
      l_dp_handle       NUMBER;
      l_last_job_state  VARCHAR2(30) := 'UNDEFINED';
      l_job_state       VARCHAR2(30) := 'UNDEFINED';
      l_sts             KU$_STATUS;
    BEGIN
      l_dp_handle := DBMS_DATAPUMP.open(
        operation   => 'EXPORT',
        job_mode    => 'SCHEMA',
        remote_link => NULL,
        job_name    => 'EMP_EXPORT',
        version     => 'LATEST');

      DBMS_DATAPUMP.add_file(
        handle    => l_dp_handle,
        filename  => 'SCOTT.dmp',
        directory => 'TEST_DIR');

      DBMS_DATAPUMP.add_file(
        handle    => l_dp_handle,
        filename  => 'SCOTT.log',
        directory => 'TEST_DIR',
        filetype  => DBMS_DATAPUMP.KU$_FILE_TYPE_LOG_FILE);

      DBMS_DATAPUMP.metadata_filter(
        handle => l_dp_handle,
        name   => 'SCHEMA_EXPR',
        value  => '= ''SCOTT''');

      DBMS_DATAPUMP.start_job(l_dp_handle);

      DBMS_DATAPUMP.detach(l_dp_handle);
    END;
    /

    for import, you can use the remap_schema option with:

    DBMS_DATAPUMP.METADATA_REMAP (
       handle      IN NUMBER,
       name        IN VARCHAR2,
       old_value   IN VARCHAR2,
       value       IN VARCHAR2,
       object_type IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL);

    There are many more details in the document as provided Thierry.

  • How to share data in the tables ' User_ * ' with another schema

    I want to share the data in the table WHERE USER_SEGMENTS with another schema. If I create a view and grant select on the view, when the other schema queries the view data are identical to themselves querying the SYS.user_segments table directly.
    create view sys_user_segments as select * from sys.user_segments;
    grant select on sys_user_segments to A;
    My guess is that the SYS.user_segments table is a view based on the current user.

    Is there a way to share such data without creating a copy of the table?

    Oracle: 10g

    Thank you

    If the ADMINISTRATOR is concerned about B access to DBA_SEGMENTS (or by creating DBA_SEGMENTS views that belongs to a user who has access on top and then grant access to this view of B), it seems pretty crazy allow that kind of database connection.

    If you create a database link belonged to B that connects to A, B is, in substance, given any privilege that has exercises. But it is done in a very, very dark which will no doubt be neglected in the future when someone gets a check. He'll be sitting here to wait that someone (accidentally or intentionally) Decides to exploit the security hole and do something that is causing a problem (by removing all data from a table, grabbing all the sensitive data in a table, etc.). Risks of this almost certainly far, far* far * outweigh the risks of even leaving B to obtain direct access to DBA_SEGMENTS.
