copy playlist files to the new location

Hello

in WMP11, it is possible to select a playlist and copy all the physical files of the playlist to another location?

for example, by selecting the elements of selections and to "make a copy of the playlist files to a new location.

Thank you

Not by default, no, you will need to manually move the files. There may be third-party programs that are likely to help him in this task you are looking for.

I had created a site on an external HARD drive.

Some time ago I moved it to my internal HARD drive.

When I went to edit today I can't open it as a website... just like the individual pages.

When I went to use a portion of my assets, DW says that "I have to set a site before I can use any assets."

How to redefine my site - if I have already defined it, but DW doesn't see it...?

I hope that makes sense.  Any help is appreciated.

This is meaningless - why he's looking for the file that it is the copy in the destination folder? The file in question is not in offline mode, it is bound to correctly in the project file and reads without problems. I also tried manually copying the file in the destination folder to see if it changes anything, but no luck.

I would like ideas, that anyone could have!

It seems that because the name of the file was a '-' in there. I changed the name of the file and then reconnected and it has been working fine since.

  • Virtual machine pointing to the new location of the file

I just copy my files of comments to a new location on the host server and increased the size of the virtual disk. I am interested in knowing how to tell the server to point to the configuration (.vmx) file in the new location. Any ideas will be appreciated.

If not already done so, close the tab of the guest.

Access the list of inventory (usually to the left of the window) and right click the entry of the guest. Select Delete in the inventory/favorites.

The opened file and orders and navigate to the new directory. Double-click the *.vmx.

  • Error: The file has properties that cannot be copied to the new location

Hi, I have a problem when copying the files in my windows 7 PC to my Sansa clip 4 GB of sport.

This error appears when I transfer them to any folder on my sport Clip:

Are you sure you want to copy this file without its properties?
The file has properties that cannot be copied to the new location.

I can click Yes or not (when I click Yes, the file is copied to the new location)

The reason why I ask is the following:
The file will be somewhat different after being copied on my sport Clip?
This is a file audio subliminal message to help me overcome some mental problems, so it would be bad if the file is modified after copying...

The file plays perfectly and sound quality seems very good.
However, I still need to know if the file is modified in a way?

The device is correctly detected, but in the manual it says that when you go into my computer and click on the Sansa Clip Sports, you must click on a folder in the internal memory and then you will find a folder of music.

But it is not at all a folder in the internal memory...

When I click on Sansa Clip sport, I see these folders:
Sound, music, audio books, Podcasts, playlists.
AUDBOOK. LIB, AUDIBLE. LIB, M3U. LIB, MUSIC. LIB, PODCAST. LIB, version.sdk

Thank you in advance, I really hope that someone will answer you

The file properties check the metadata associated with the file.  This error occurs generally when the file was created on an NTFS volume and some of the assosiated with this file metadata is not supported on a FAT32 volume. What you mean actually is not associated with file properties, so it would not be changed.

Your use of the word "files" (in the plural) still makes me believe that you have not checked the permissions on the folder that is appropriate (in the singular).

You must determine the Destination of the Lightroom Import dialog window Panel and see which folder Lightroom is really tr6ing to copy photos in (which may have been accidentally changed and is not what you may have used in the past) and change the permissions to write to this folder.

I have been using Premiere Pro 6 and CC now for a year now.

I can't solve a problem is a problem of project management.

I can create a new project complied every time, but I can't collect files and copy it to the new location?

It fails every time with the message "an unknown error has occurred during the operation of project manager, please save your project and try again.

I must have tried on more than 50 projects and it never worked.

I hope there is a simple solution to what I need to create a full backup to transmit to another editor.

Disable the preview files and standardized audio files.

See if that will do the trick.

  • moving files from music to new drive__windows external media player does not recognize the new location

to increase disk space on my computer running Windows XP, I added an external hard drive and moved the folder "my music". I would then be able to delete the folder my music in the C drive and access my music in the new car, but Media Player think I deleted all my music and my library has disappeared.

How can I move my music files to the new drive, remove them from the C drive and have Media Player still keep my library and create a new file path?

    TIA

Where exactly your playlists are located? They are always on the C:\ drive, or you also move them to the external hard drive? The default location is the My Playlists folder in my music .

Make sure that location of playlists is also in the list when you press F3. If this doesn't help, you can manually drag and drop those playlists from Windows Explorer to the WMP library.

  • How can I move files and leave a shortcut.lnk pointing to the new location.

I'm trying to move only a TON of old files to a hard drive to free up space to backup.  I can't empty just them, it's a working environment with integrated (and archaic) process.  They must be able to find the new files without go hunting for them.  How can I move all the files that has not been changed since 2 years and leaves a link behind that points to the new location?

I used successfully a utility call NoClone.  The goal is to search for duplicate files, but it has a way to specify any search string (date function as you requested) and then move all files to a new location, leaving behind .lnk files

I used it to clear space on file shares, any movement toward a archive read-only stored on a NAS that gets backed up once per year.  In this way, nothing changes on the NAS of the end user (no need to save often).  If you need to edit the file, they copy him on its original location.

If you have a lot of files, download the business version.

In recent years I finally used, so I don't know if there is a newer version that might not work as did the old version.

    Hi josepht,.

Looks like your destination folder does not have a full read and write permissions.

Try to set the destination as a specific folder that contains all the permissions on your local or external drive, then, check.

    Kind regards

    Claes
