  Hi, this is my first post. I tried the search function, but couldn't find the answer.

  I've owned several ThinkPads since the R30 and they have always been reliable. (My wife and I still have this R30 more 3 R40s and 2 R61s)

  R61i my wife developed a problem (under XP Pro). The Ctrl keys no longer work.

  I can copy and paste by using the menu, right click menu, or on the keypad of the screen.

  If I go to Notepad, press Ctrl + c, the 'c' character is typed.

  I found Windows "Narrator" who will speak the names of the keys when you press. It is quiet when you press a Ctrl key.

  I think it is strange that both Ctrl keys stop working at the same time that would make me assume that it's not the physical keys themselves.

  Any ideas?

  Order to restore (Ctrl-Y) not working anymore in CC of Dreamweaver.  I'm on Windows 10.  I loaded my own set of keyboard shortcuts.  Menu command (Edit > Redo) is predefined for Ctrl-Y and Ctrl-Shift-Z but no shortcuts work.  Other similar commands such as Ctrl-Z (undo) works, but not do it again.  Redo is one of the most common commands that I use.  Please help me.

  Just pulled up the old versions and, CBWMS and CC 2014, it worked as explained in the OP, while nothing happens in CC2015.

• Dreamweaver cs5 change copy and paste does not work

  Dreamweaver cs5 Edition copy and paste does not work,

  So Windows 7 SP1. I tried to rename the follder config and start again and it does not work.

  Problem is when I select a file from windows Explorer, then go to Dreamweaver, choose the destination folder and editing/paste is disable, reverse operation is the same, selecting file in dreamweaver, editing/copy, go to the folder of windows Explorer and paste doesn´t work too. Anyone have the solution? (Sorry my English)

  My copy of DW also works as you describe, I think it's just "the way that it is" in DW.

  To copy a file from another location on your computer to your site, copy it from the original location and paste it into the site folder within windows Explorer (do not use DW at all).

  You can also drag a file from your desktop to your files window in DW to make a copy.

  Yes, Photoshop should work fine without the internet connection, as this is the standalone version.

• Copy / paste still do not work even after many workaround solutions

  This usually happens to me randomly. I would say that there are about 25% chance that works my dough. The copy function seems to work, but when it comes to collage, my browser does not offer the Paste button and it remains invisible. I disabled my firewall, disabled my antivirus, resat firefox, started in safe mode, disabled all plugins and even uninstalled and reinstalled java. I've tried everything. It's certainly a browser problem because I am able to copy and paste into another application with any problem. I don't like any other browser, so I refuse to do. Please help me firefox team.

  Hello, this may be a problem caused by zonealarm, please uninstall (if you have one) and try again.

  Try please press CTRL + ALT + FN and check if that helps.

• CTRL-Alt-Z works is not in Windows 10 in Photoshop CS6

  Problem of Oddball here.

  Central computer laptop brand new, still running in temporary test mode. I own CS6 Production Premium. Just sold my old laptop and migrated to my new laptop. Everything works fine, but have some sort of conflict of keyboard with Photoshop. For the first few days, I have been unable to use the SPACEBAR shortcut to move around the image, but who suddenly cleared up today (thank you the digital gods!), but I still cannot use the Ctrl-Alt-Z to take back.
  I used this keyboard shortcut hundreds thousands of times and it is ingrained in my brain like the market.

  Properly configured control shows keyboard shortcuts. But there is simply nothing. In fact, it specifically does nothing. So I think that this is not a problem or a trust problem with keyboard shortcut (which seems like it would cause his failure to make a regular Ctrl-Z, ignoring foreign 'alt').

  I've seen other people having problems with this keyboard shortcut have other software 'steal' strikes, but I use a computer pretty new with not all that much other software on it. It is a MSI GE72S with most of the bloatware removed and some of them still in place. I think this is the issue most likely. But I have no familiarity with MSI bloatware and Win10 to know where to look.

  Any ideas? Anyway maybe I can follow the strikes? I have no other programs running at the moment, comes from Photoshop. Installed programs include Adobe Production Premium, Office 2010, AoE3 and not much else.

  My problem has been resolved with the help of MSI customer support.

  First of all, he had put the BIOS updated. Did not help. Then he put me on day of the Community European (on-board controller) and that solved my problem. I now have the use of ctrl + alt + Z and ctrl + shift + Z.

  This is his last position:

  Kevin, try this, allows you to update to 1794EMS1.105 click here to download the update of the EC. Extract the Zip file and launch, right-click on the file "ECWin" and select "Run as Administrator" and move forward with the guests. (see attached photo) Boot into the BIOS and check under system information if the EC is now worm 5.06, then exit the BIOS and try ctrl + alt + Z

  If you have a MSI laptop with this problem, I suggest that you update your EC. They recommend that this when you need a problem solved because it's something you don't want to mess with if everything works ok. I don't know where you can find the file, a link was given to me by the customer to download support.

  I got 6.5 VMware workstation installed about 3 weeks now and I think my wife think me crazy for buying the license last night due to the fact that he has several features that simply do not work.

  Now I ask anyone with knowledge of this product for shut up here and explain it.  The instructions are not difficult to understand, and no reason I can think to copy and paste them here since the help files.

  I will say this however.  I am running windows XP pro host and Vmware with Linux Red Hat Fedora 10 as the guest OS.  I'll probably install XP on it in a day or two to see how it works.  Long user VPC time here to try VMWARE first at the time I also tried connectix VPC and choose to keep the VPC then as the top program.  It is quite obvious that VMware is the best of both in its current phase, but how in the world can you expect from ourselves to a program that does not work in some critical areas.

  Is anyone else out there there's this version 6.5 installed and if yes can actually use you files shared?  Someone there itstalled with XP and Linux Guest host?

  Any one that can have drag and drop?  Copy and paste work?  Anyone with shared working folders?

  15 + years here making advanced computer repair and management of small groups of private programmers and even if I'm not him the brightest star in the sky, I think that if these features worked I could do it, but they simply do not have.

  In order to get drag / move to work trying to start vmware-user from a console.

  I noticed that vmware - the user does not seem to start on RPM based distributions.  I saw this on Suse 11.1, F10 and Centos 5.2.  It starts automatically on debian (lenny) and kubunto at least here.

  I just upgraded to PES 11 do not CTRL + 0 (zero) to work.  My OS is Windows Vista.  I have friends that are using Windows 7 and it works for them.  I use CTRL + 0 all the time and need to work with PES 11.  Is there someone out there who can help me, please?

  Try using view-> to adapt to the screen and check if it works. Reset the preferences by:

  1. close the elements.

  2. launch Photoshop elements welcome screen and hold the key ctrl + alt + shift when you click on the editor.

  3. continue to press the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete the settings for Photoshop Elements; Click Yes. Items will be open with the default preferences.

  Check in any other windows application as word or any other application you have knowledge of it is there.

• Make a right-click displays (cut, copy, paste) but does not work. Did in IE

  I can't copy from Firefox and stick to the word, as I did in Internet Explorer. It will just paste what I had copied the word before the browsing session. There is an add-in in the word "Person name (Outlook message recipients)", but I don't know what that means if anything on this subject.
