Order to restore (Ctrl-Y) not working anymore in CC of Dreamweaver

Order to restore (Ctrl-Y) not working anymore in CC of Dreamweaver.  I'm on Windows 10.  I loaded my own set of keyboard shortcuts.  Menu command (Edit > Redo) is predefined for Ctrl-Y and Ctrl-Shift-Z but no shortcuts work.  Other similar commands such as Ctrl-Z (undo) works, but not do it again.  Redo is one of the most common commands that I use.  Please help me.

-Masato

Just pulled up the old versions and, CBWMS and CC 2014, it worked as explained in the OP, while nothing happens in CC2015.

@masatok,

Drop an official bug would probably be the way to go: feature request/Bug Report Form

  • Toshiba still WT8 - restore procedure does not work

    Hello

I recently bought a Toshiba still wt8 with 2013 preinstalled office student.

The desktop application will not install with different messages about problems arise.
the last message says that it can not download because it is not connected to the internet, even if it is

In the following advice on the setting of the installation of various forums, I now have a machine that needs to be reset.
The road to restore installed does not work because it says that the files are missing.

Ive created a recovery disk (possibly after you buy a micro USB key).
but now when I try to use it, it indicates the recovery drive is not valid.

I've had the unit for four days now and I have yet to be able to use for anything other than making circles of frustration.

Can someone help before I completely lose my sanity?

    Thank you
    Nick Chablis

    Hello

Usually you have two options to restore the system.

(* 1) * you will need to create a recovery media and could use this recovery media to restore the system
(* 2) * you can restore the software preinstalled from the recovery partition

(* 1) * before using the recovery media (USB flash memory stick), it must create a. The recovery image is stored on the dedicated recovery partition. And can be copied to USB flash memory by following the steps.
-Turn on tablet and allow it to load the Windows OS as usual
-Insert the USB micro-USB port (do you need a micro USB cable USB converter) tab (under System Windows Apps view) Control Panel
-tabs and system security-> action center-> recovery-> create a recovery disk
-then you must follow the instructions on the screen to complete the recovery media

To recover the system USB flash stick insert. Then put ON the table (charm settings-> power bar-> stop) after the tablet was turned off the POWER, wait 10 seconds, then press and hold the power button / stop and the volume button up until the start menu is loaded. Then use the volume up/down button to select the menu to your actual recovery media option and press the Windows button to confirm. Then a menu appears, where you must follow the on-screen instructions.

(* 2) * the 2nd option of restore partition recovery is also possible.
Stop the tablet. Press and hold the power button / stop and the volume button up until the start menu is loaded. Then select HARD drive recovery. Now press Yes, select troubleshoot, select Reset your PC and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process

Alternatively, you can perform the restore through laptop settings in the operating system. (parameters-> change PC settings-> update & Recovery-> recovery)

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..
What is the issue that you are experiencing that you think that the system restore will be remedied (or you are just convenient)?  System Restore is not a time machine, but of course, this should work if you think you need.
Some tools Anti Virus 'protect' your system so that they will not allow a restore of the system work properly.

For example, if you use Norton/Symantec products, you will see a message like this:
Restoration incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored...
It is also a popular Symantec problem (well, I'll be polite and call an "undocumented feature"...), they wrote an article about it:
According to what you use for malware protection, you may need to disable the product temporarily, do the system restore and then turn the products light up again when the system restore is complete.
Sometimes you need start your system in Mode safe and so that your protection programs are not running, and then do the system restore.  Tips from Microsoft in some of their articles that if the system restore does not restore your computer, start in Safe Mode, and then run the system restore.  It works for some configurations.
System Restore is sometimes so afflicted or Restore Points are suspicious, the best solution is to reinstall your system restore.  This will remove the old Restore Points, but sometimes it's the only way to fix a broken system restore.  You don't have to reinstall XP, only the part of system restore.
That can leave you with your problem of unspecified origin that you hope the system restore will fix (using a system restore is usually not equivalent to fixing the problem though).
Give these ideas some consideration if they apply to you.
Sometimes malicious will afflict your system restore to prevent you to find and remove malware.  It would much rather you trick into thinking that you need to repair or reinstall your XP when it is not necessary.
No matter what you use for protection against malware, I do so and then only begin to solve any problems:
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs can solve any problems:

  • Restore disk will not work need a windows copy XP where can I find one?

My hardrive broken so I am new and my restore disk does not work where can I get a version of windows to put it on a floppy disk and use it on my computer OSless.

    XP has disappeared.

your best bet is to work with the manufacturer of your laptop, maybe they xp on their shelves.

also, the restore disks may require specialty measures to run for them to be activated.

so for the two cases above, visit your computers home site and look for the model number of your laptop for the faq on the help of restore disks / recovery discs / factory restore.

by the way, how broken is the old hard drive?

He must have a hidden section on it with all the preserved original software which can be used to restore the hard disk.

but this section could also be copied into the new HDD as well, according to which 'broke' implies.

by the way, is that the technician who replaced your hard drive take a look at the restore disks too?

Well, it works fine. Year last rDate is 0012, thats why he is the last. It seems that the table data was not loaded properly and you ended up having rows with year 12 instead of 2012. Check the data in the table.

New Sony Vaio, Windows 7 Professional, Avast AV, PCTools Firewall. Problems on the first day. BSOD (not seen in Windows 98) appearing randomly, large memory dumps without obvious reasons. After about 2 weeks, I found that the system restore did not work which is surprising since MS said that the OS is stable and reliable. Door on this forum and many others via Google and I tried a lot of suggested solutions, but nothing helped.

System Restore is an important equipment and I don't understand how he can be so easily broken. It seems to be a common place among users of Win 7 judging by the number of posts on the topic, then why has MS has not released a fix to protect the system restore? Silly question I suppose to have no response.

No matter what media you used to install XP.

You don't have symptoms consistent with a need to run sfc/scannow.

If sfc/scannow solves your problems, I'll send you (or your charitable organization preferred) US $100.

That Microsoft technical support engineers constantly not to mention, is that if you have installed SP3 from a download and your XP installation CD bootable real is not SP3 (what is?) running sfc/scannow will upset you constantly to insert your installation of SP3 CD and you will last anything else than a big frustrating waste of your time.  It will not help you in any case.

@Microsoft support Engineer Imran M: Please explain why you think the sfc/scannow will correct this problem.

Also, you have none of the symptoms consistent with a need to run the fix it.  Next, you need not to "check if it helps" - you need your fix.

In fact, I've recreated the problem on my system and run the fix it and here is what he said:

We did not identify any problems and that's why no fixes have been applied.

Here is my usual full answer to the symptoms you describe.  If you have not been on the Internet with your own installation, your system should not have malware on it (yet), but I have at least "would fix the immediate question" as shown below by the three mentioned DLLs:

If your system restore page display only the title bar 'System Restore' or your user accounts settings page don't watch the title bar of "User accounts" and the screen where information needs to be is an empty white box, and/or your Windows Search function shows just Rover (the animated search dog)...

System Restore is a frequent target of attacks by malicious software.  If SR was working before and is now afflicted, run some scans and then fix any problems.

Remember that the system restore is not a time machine.

Your system is currently or has been reached by malicious software.

You can now fix the symptom and scanning for malware later, or you can now find malware and fix the remains later.  I recommend just fixing the symptom of the empty page and forget to do the scans.  The symptom of the problem of fixing and fixing the problem are two different things.

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

The scans using own it may also be necessary to re-register some dll (or you can do this part first, but you still have to do the scans).

    Just fix the immediate question:

Looks like your file jscript.dll became somehow not registered so you can re-record it.

There are probably a few other things that do not work you know yet, so fix them all at once.

Re-registration of these DLLs is correct, even if they do not need renewal.  You can also re-register the dll before the scans that can solve the problem, but the scans are always recommended.

Click Start, run, and in the box enter orders following one at a time.  Click the OK button to execute each command one at a time.

    regsvr32 jscript.dll
    regsvr32 vbscript.dll
    regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll (it's a look of slash)

The last order for mshtml load the DLL but can also contain a harmless warning depending on your environment.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or other USB drives.
Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

The system has RAID? If so, it's also very suspicious.

This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E which is also 0x1000007E

    Cause

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. TO
interpret, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in theinc directory
the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the
    • Reference of the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2
(the address of the exception) must identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If the exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system
has been launched with the /nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly,
Make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with the Switch/DEBUG .

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Make sure all new hardware that is installed is listed in the
    • List of Microsoft Windows Marketplace tested products.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A service driver or defective peripheral system can be
    • responsible for this error. Hardware problems, such as the incompatibilities of the BIOS, memory, conflicts
    • and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable
or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during startup
sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use safe
Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the system startup procedure
in Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third remote
control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the boot of the computer service
by using the Recovery Console, and then by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the
device or the driver that generated the bug check 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You should also
Run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system.
For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or
Once the installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and system
BIOS incompatibilities. For problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with the absence of disc
space, reduce the number of files on the disk drive hard target. Find and delete any temporary
the files that you do not have to have files hidden Internet, backup application and.chkfiles files that
contain fragments of file saved to disk scans. You can also use another hard drive with more drive
free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

Often drivers up-to-date will help, usually video, sound, network card (NIC), WiFi, part 3
keyboard and mouse, as well as of other major device drivers.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Satellite M70 - WinDVD does not work anymore

WinDVD doesn't work anymore. Although my CD/DVD-RAM is functional and Windows Explorer shows all the files in the CD player, WinDVD can not find them.
If I try to watch a video with Real Player, I can at least hear something, but there is no pictures. Is there something wrong with my video card?

    How can I fix it?

In my opinion, you should test the video playback with VLC Player. It's free and you can download under http://vlc-media-player.en.softonic.com/
This player opens all video formats, and you should not install additional codecs. I use it for long time and I'm happy with it.

Please test and validate the result.

  • Satellite L750 - 20 c - bluetooth does not work anymore

    Hi all!

I use the Toshiba Satellite L750 - 20 c (Windows 7) for a year now. Everything was great until 2 weeks ago, when Bluetooth simply stopped working. I tried the FN F8 option, bluetooth is on. Drivers are here also.
Do you have an idea what could be the problem, and what can I do about it?

    Thank you. :)

Please post a little more on this problem. What do you mean with it does not work?

Have you tried to roll back OS restore two weeks using System?
What is with the BT software? Is the BT symbol in the taskbar (BT Manager) (deactivated) red or white (active)?
