I was looking for something to take my design of the Illustrator, bring it to life in a working prototype, circulate comments and eventually pass on to developers to use as a reference (they write C++ in Visual Studio). I have just a few questions/requests/bugs to appear:

  (1) when I import text from Illustrator objects, Flash Catalyst is unable to maintain the base changes. Am I missing something? I read that unique features for CF gave priority, and this other standard options formatting in Illustrator or Photoshop would follow in future versions. Is - that one of these options (as well as stroke, masks of clipping, etc.) that will eventually be supported? Or do I have to submit it as a feature request?

  (2) in addition, it seems that the grid of the CF is not as many pixels as the grid to HAVE it. When I import small objects that correspond to the guides, they become blurred - it's like fitting 10 people on 9 chairs. The gaps and overlaps appear. This will be reconciled in later versions? Or do I have to submit a feature request for this?

  (3) when I select a group of objects and click Edit > edit in Adobe Illustrator CS4, a dialog box appears with the title "Edit in Adobe Illustrator. Here's an exclamation point in a bubble and text "Selection of editing in Adobe Illustrator... ». The problem is, the box never goes away, and nothing happens in Illustrator. Am I missing something? Is this a bug? This feature works for other people?

  (4) I read about this elsewhere, but I have not found a concise answer. CF does support the copy of component interactions? By example, if I copy and paste a custom component, or if I export a component library and then import it, it loses all of its defined interactions. Is there a work around? Or plans to implement?

  Thanks for the kind words. I'm going to dive into your questions:

  (1) catalyst should maintain base shifts to import. Our goal is a complete fidelity with the original work. If you publish a file HAVE that has this issue, I can file a bug (unless it's been fixed since Beta 2, which is quite possible - we made many improvements to import fidelity).

  Also, I wanted to clarify the thing you discover more complex "formatting options". WHEN you import the PS, or FXG, the work should appear exactly as it did in the original tool (modulo very small differences). However, catalyst can not supported the MODIFICATION of more sophisticated objects or properties (masks, complex gradients, paths, HAVE mesh warp, etc.).  This is where 'Edit in Illustrator': you can pop at work in to, make changes there and then back to FC.

  (2) this can happen in some cases:

  (A) the reader Flash has a rendering engine of different text that HAVE, this text may look different. If it is critical for you, you can choose to convert the text to outlines when importing text.

  (B) alignment of the pixels: I supports the investment object subpixel very accurate because it can produce for print (where pixel doesn't really count). However, these objects blurry when displayed on a computer screen (where import pixels). You can see this simply by drawing a rectangle in artificial intelligence at 100% zoom. Objects in CF should be aligned with the boundaries of the pixels because it generates exclusively to a computer monitor. When you import and manipulate the work CF it automatically snaps to pixel boundaries. That's good because your fuzzy rectangle will become blurred, but it is not very good because small tedious objects seem not quite right.

  (3) your work should appear in Illustrator, ready to be edited. In Beta 2, it is only supported with Illustrator CS4. What version do you have?

  (4) it is not supported, and we do not have a proposal or plans to support. You must submit your proposal on the ideas site: http://ideas.adobe.com/labs

  (5) is not supported, but it is a good idea, so you should put it on the site of ideas. You can encode up to this behavior in Flash Builder, but you'll have to dive into coding.

  I posted this on the Adobe forum earlier.  Surprisingly, I can't find this message in my story because it seems that this forum is now now only a certain amount of history.  I was a member of the forum since 2004, but all my posts except the very recent disappeared. If I'm wrong about this, and if anyone knows how to get back to all of my history of messages, I appreciate it someone could tell me.

  But anyway, one of the things that I've never understood about HERE is when you look at the shapes that are designed out of the screen design (I think he called the artboard), there is no option to turn off reversed forms, so you can see what the design looks like.  For example, the following example 8.5 x 11 with a bleeding.  I've drawn shapes that go beyond white.  But the only way for me to 'turn off' what is beyond white is when I draw gray rectangles and put them around the page to hide the reversed forms:

  OK, I just realized the problem, each layer of higher level in artificial intelligence has been save to the PDF file (even if hidden or invisible) because I ""create acrobat layers from top-level layers " checked in the PDF file save dialog down." When unchecked visible layers only record.

  Change the font used in the Excel table to something else on your machine. Right-click on the graph, and then select Format chart area. Go to fonts (bottom) Terminal and change to Calibri (body theme) [or landing he says] to something like Arial. Then copy and paste the chart.

  Work on a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe CC.

  When I create graphics for clients, I use .eps files.  I use them in AE so I can properly scale and animate.  I have worked with hundreds of .eps files in AE with NO PROBLEM. I'm not sure what the problem is with the .eps file.  After having tried other successful in the same project AE .eps images, they work very well.  It's just that file.  Full disclosure: I know very few HAVE, no specific guidance would be appreciated.  I have a .eps file which is transparent in artificial intelligence... first image.

  

  I create the layers that I want to work and when I drag them in AE, I have a white background.  The full logo above also shows that the other layers below, it's just not onscreen... second image.

  

  I am at a loss to why this is happening.  Can anyone shed some light on this for me?  I think it's simple, but I just do not know the program and not been able to find all the messages for this specific problem.

  If one uses pixellation effects (such as a shadow, they cannot be kept transparent in the EPS file and will be rasterized, resulting in an image with a white background.)

  If there is no image applied effects thebackground will be transparent.

  Instead of filling it with a solid color, you can fill it with an opaque blue to transparent gradient. Or you can use an opacity mask in the transparency palette.

  First assignment in time. I have 9 + graphics that are exported from sigma plot as .eps files. I am changing all of them in artificial intelligence to conform to the style rules of scientific journals. It seems that the .eps files have not incorporated and so all the words and the numbers come out in the form of vectors and therefore cannot be easily changed in artificial intelligence. I tried to use the pdf files exported from sigmaplot and for whatever Reason didn't let modify me them at all. My question is, is there an easy way (post export of sigmaplot) to get AI to recognize text as text? Or, is it something that needs to be done in sigmaplot before exporting?

  I just talked to another author, and what you want is in the lower right of the dialog box options export of Sigmaplot. Check the box to make the conversion of PostScript fonts instead of convert text to curves.
