Corrupted user login

Corrupted user login

Hello everyone

I've been looking and after a few tutorials on this problem, but no work, so wrong here let my questions.
My computer has 2 users, 1 with admin Preobrajensky and another with no Preobrajensky, last week when I start the pc, it shows both users, but the admin account has no name or image, if I choose what it it shows the name and password empty, if I write downs he said tha the user, or the password is wrong , so basically im stuck with an account with no Preobrajensky.
I discovered that my admin account is corrupted.
So I follow some tutorials on how to solve this problem.
The way I found is to activate the real built in Administrator account and then access this account the regedit and difficulty the other account.
The problem is, as im stuck with an account with no Preobrajensky and start in safe mode doesn't give me access to this account with no Preobrajensky, I used a dvd a kick with her windows, open a command line and type net user administrator / Active: Yes, it shows a sucessful message but when I restart the pc and I start in safe mode I don't see another account to connect , these 2 accounts, so I chose the one with no picture and I have type administrator it displays a message saying that the account is not activated.
So im stuck at this point, because I really can not format this pc now and a restore point I would probably lose a few files I need, any ideas why I can't activate the built in admin account? Or I do something wrong?

So I have tried a few things and came up with a solution to do this, basically connecting the command net user administrator/active: Yes and a recovery that DVD did not work, I still didn't see built in admin account, then I looked at the login screen and I saw the small button in the lower left corner of the screen, and this button starts the utilman.exe.

So I thought I could use the same procedure to replace the files from the command line with dvd to replace the by the cmd.exe utilman.exe.
I tried in the login screen, it is a command line, here I did net user administrator/active: Yes and then I selected the user corrupted, the administrator typed and the boom! IM in.
Made a few changes and account working again :)
Note that, in the line net user administrator/active: Yes the underlined word, is written for the Portuguese version of windows, so if you have an English version change administrator or in any other way if your system's main language is different.

Log off or restart your computer and you login as the new user and check if all files have been copied.
  • Preparation of desktop + default user login

Occasionally, when I start my laptop Windows 7 Ultimate, instead of the 'Welcome' screen and a login prompt for the user by default ('B'), I get "Readiness Office", then the login for the user by default ('B') prompt. After a successful login, I get a new office and default user privileges 'B '. No files or other inerference profile to the default user 'B' will appear. To fix this, I restart or shutdown. Hi BobThurmond,

Method 1: First of all, you should try to check and safe mode if the problem persists.

Follow this link provided below to start your computer in safe mode.

Method 2: If the problem does not happen, I recommend you perform the clean boot.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

How to create a new account if you can not access your Admin account

Restart the computer. On the ringtone, press and hold down the keys command + S to start in single user Mode. You start on a black screen with white text scrolling, release the keys and wait that it ends.

Enter the following lines at the command prompt, and then press RETURN after each:

Once you restart the computer, you will be taken to the installation wizard. When you get to the point where you are prompted to set up your new user account, create a new admin account. Don't forget to name this thing another user account as the account user to administrator which already exists on the system. When you have finished the installation wizard, it will automatically save you in the new account.

You can transfer your files from the old account to the new. See: transfer of files from one user to another account. Once you have moved all your files in your new account, you can remove the old account using the preferences accounts or users and groups.

  • Pavilion p7-1235: failed to get comp boot - Windows startup, but no HP user login page

    Please read this:

I was on Google image search and typed in a key phrase to find images.  I decided to change the sentence by moving words.  Highlighted the first two words and I wanted to drag until the end of the sentence.  When I tried, I got a message saying enter now image and image search.  It was weird.  Never seen that before.  I wasn't looking for a real image using a picture, I was just looking for pictures of architecual using key phrases.  So, I hit ESC to clear the highlight and tried typing in the search box, but it wouldn't take any changes.  I closed my browser and moved.  Started a video and the video was stuttering as he played.  Tried again and it's the same thing.  Decided he must be still stuck on the image search so I closed everything, ran a quick system if the scan and then let it stop automatically at the end of the analysis.

A few minutes later I came back to the computer and started it.  He went to the blue screen of the HP with the hand and the flight of image files. Below it read "Press esc for boot menu."  From there, he went to a black screen and the following messages:

    Check cable connections!

    &

Error: No boot disk was detected or the drive failed.

I tried a few different options then found my USB stick recovery I did the day I bought the computer.  That put according to the explanations provided here in the support forums.  This time, on the next startup attempt, he showed the foreclosure "loading files" and then goes to "start windows" - it appeared that everything was fine, but it wasn't. The color Windows icons do their thing and below, he reads from windows... And then nothing.  It just sits there with the Microsoft image on the screen.  Then, this password start windows on the blue HP screen screen... Then it stops on its own and restarts the same exact process: "loading files" > starting windows > blue screen HP > restarts... Repeats.  Sometimes to where it should be, but then it looks like it not connect further.  No of HP user login screen.

In addition, I was never able to get the HP Recovery Manager window appears.  In fact, no HP can't at all (with the exception of blue screens such as mentioned previously).  In the past, once, when I had an error in startup (for more than one year), F11 brought by the HP Recovery Manager and I could simply restart the computer from a previous restore point... In this case, he never came to the top.  I'm not a tech guy but it feels like the side system HP isn't here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... I'm dead in the water at the moment...

You can try to plug the data cable into a different SATA connector on your motherboard to rule out a problem with the connector itself.

You can test your hard drive:

    Screening of hardware failures

If your hard drive is mechanically dead then your data it lost unless you already have saved or pay an expensive data recovery service.

If only the operating system or a file on the disk is damaged, then you probably can data recovery by plugging the hard drive to another pc as a player sencondary to access the files.

You can recover your system on a drive hard new with your recovery disk USB by following the instructions here. See the section: boot from USB Recovery Drive

  • Corrupted user profile

My user profile may be corrupted on a base exchange network.  If you are using IE8 under my connection, meet various picture errors with IE8.  When you sign in with another account on the same computer, IE8 works ok.   How to fix my user profile - is there a tool to diagnose and solve problems?  Computer is running XP - Pro SP3 and all updates to Windows XP and IE8 are up-to-date.  Have you tried the Microsoft Fix It tool, has not fixed anything whatsoever.

Information is available on how to fix a corrupted profile, but they are all basically the same procedure has already told you your network Support Technician.

I would add that corrupt profiles are almost always accompanied, if not caused, the corruption of system files.  As such, you must perform an operation of check disk (chkdsk) with the option to repair no matter how or if recover you.  If you really feel lucky, a chkdsk operation sometimes will fix a corrupted user profile.

"How to perform the disk error checking in Windows XP"

I will warn you that the chkdsk will take place at the next startup, that it runs before Windows load fully, can only be interrupted and can take more than a few hours to complete.  It has also been known for discs of trash occasionally so it is prudent to update your backups before making.

I have a corrupt user profile.  Windows XP. When I add a new can be the same, or should be different.  And the user's profile should match the user ID?

If the profile has recently become corrupted, you can probably get the same user by performing a system restore operation:

Otherwise, you will need to create another user and copy your data.  The simplest procedure is here:

  • Restoration to a corrupt user or copy corrupted to a newly created user. I am not allowed access to corrupt the user of another administrative user.

When I try to copy the files from the user to a new user, the corrupt user is inaccesable when I click it.  I'm another user of the admin access.  I restarted the computer.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I encountered this problem immediately after removing an accessory program Apple ITunes that I have not used.  I did it to clear up disk space.  This has happened also when I got a low disk space to open the user.  I could open another admin user account and free up enough disk space to open the user.  When I try to connect to the corrupt user, it connects me to another user called (name.value of initial user followed a string of alpha-numberic characters)

    Hello Cscoler,

Corruption of the profiles can be caused by malware, by repeated interruptions due to file system corruption and bad hardware issues. Did you run any malware removal software?

When you created a new user account, have you configured it as an administrator? Do you receive error messages when you try to open a session in the corrupted profile, such as "the system has recovered from a serious error or user profile is corrupted"? When you log in the corrupted profile, are you able to view your data?

    Thank you

  • 'Another user' login page to fix my computer F8

I did restore the factory Dell Image several times in the past with no problems. Yesterday I restared my pc and hit F8, I'll repair my computer and I wait to display popups so I can do the factory Dell Image Restore, but need me to this ' another user ' login page and I type my username admin and it says the username cannot be connected.» I tried searching this problem on gooogle, but so far there is no solution. So my question is "How can I get past the other user login page" to get to the system recovery so I can restore my pc to factory conditions?

    Hello

I suggest you to Dell Factory Image Restore by using Windows Vista installation DVD.

Try the steps from the following link: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/w/laptop/how-to-perform-dell-factory-image-restore-using-windows-vista-setup-dvd.aspx

Note: To restore the original factory image erases ALL existing data. This includes files, folders, programs, drivers, e-mails, photos. Before performing a PC Restore, back up all personal files. If you do not back up your personal files, data will be lost.
