Could not get the connection w / router WRT54G

I tried all the suggestions on getting the router to connect, but have had no success. All the lights are on, but as soon as I unplug the router to the computer, I drop the signal and reconnect again. I tried to connect to the routers web page and it says unable to connect. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

On your computer, click on start - RUN - CMD and click OK... In the hit command prompt window type "ipconfig" enter and note the default gateway IP, yet once in the command window prompt type "ping default gateway ip" and hit enter and check if you have all the answers, if yes, then you can connect to the router configuration page using the default IP address.

Open an Internet Explorer browser on your computer (desktop) wired page. In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 (the Linksys router default IP) and press ENTER. Let the empty user name & password use admin lowercase...

Once you connect to the router configuration page, you can make the changes on your router.

    I am not able to connect to the database using sqlplus, using following command:

    sqlplus activites@OCA010

    I get the error message "ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified.

    I tried to connect by providing the full as connection string: "" sqlplus activities / [email protected]:1521 / compix "and he succeeded."

    I also tried to connect using sql developer by providing network TNS alias 'OCA010' it is also successful.

    Someone could please help out here and let me know how can I connect using sqlplus using aliases TNS network.

    Have you worked from the link I provided?  (I don't think you have time to do).

    It is possible that your tnsnames.ora is corrupted by some weird characters printable somewhere.  In some versions of the oracle, he might be sensitive to spaces vs. tabs.  If in doubt, netca to add entries, rather than doing it by hand.

    I see just a glance on the tnsnames file you are missing at least one sign =...

    You have

    ORCL

    (DESC...

    You should have

    ORCL =

    (DESC...

    There may be other issues too, but give that a try at first - you better run netmgr to allow oracle to create the file for you.

    This had already happened with another server (also W2003 DC), but the hardware was completely different; Unfortunately, I wasn't able to solve this year here.

    I finally found the guilty service.

    It was pcmonitor monitor/remote control software. Once I stopped it is service vmware converter could get the capacity of the physical drives.

    It is rather curious because I made several servers P2V conversions using this software (so far the last one two weeks ago - the difference between that server and this one was that the first was not a domain controller).

    Hopefully this thread will help others in the future.

    I'm configuration 11.1.2.3 on Windows 2008 using the Oracle database and when I try to configure connection services database and shared registry associated with the House I get the error "IO error +: the network adapter could not establish the connection +" all by filling in the details of the database. Windows Firewall is disabled, database is able to connect through SQL Plus am running, listening for the database service is running and the name of SID and the server have been provided properly. I even used localhost, apart from the name of the server providing the servename and ORCL is the SID. Any suggestions please?

    Usually, if I install on a Virtuelle/portable Windows machine that does not have a fixed IP or a dns entry I install a card closure before installing Oracle and have never had problems, it is established in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e24186/reqs.htm#BABFHCJG

    I use the ORCL service to connect to the database using SQL more. I am connected yesterday and it was very good. Now I get this error:

    It can be caused by the location of the TOAD software. The have you installed under "Program Files (x 86)? If Yes, then try to reinstall in a different directory, media in the path name can cause problems.
