  Unfortunately, pre cannot change with all the CODECS and especially delivery only the CODEC, such as DivX and Xvid.

  Some users have had good luck with importing and editing very latest versions of these CODECS, in the latest versions of PrE, but this is rare. Generally, the file will not import, but if this is the case, then there are usually Audio with no video or the video is so bad, they are not not useful.

  For Xvid or DivX, I convert it to DV - AVI, and then import this file converted for editing. In my case, I use a previous shareware, DigitalMedia Converter 2.7 program. Now there are newer versions of DMC.

  Some users report such CyberLink PowerDirector and Magix MovieEdit Pro do a better job with the Xvid and DivX CODEC, but none is perfect.

  I did some googling, and it seems that your D750 needs 8.7 ACR (Adobe Camera Raw version 8.7).  My camera needs ACR 8.3, but apparently 11 elements does not support this update. I have a feeling that your 10 PES is the same (no support ACR 8.7) for your camera.

  So, we can:

  (1) use the supplied software to Nikon for RAW files, convert to jpeg, and then open in PSE,

  (2) download: free Adobe, something called a converter DNG (?) that creates a DNG file to open to post-secondary studies, or

  (3) buy a newer version of elements, where the version supported with ACR IS compatible with your camera

  I'm not sure 100% accuracy of this info, but so far, that's what I found. Personally, I do not have these options.  I want to be able to work in PSE raw, but having to spend ANOTHER $100 or so just for this feature seems wrong.

  I have about 400 000 pictures of so given the high number of 15 years, I had all my photos in 6 catalogues to avoid potential problems. All photos and catalogs are in a 4 TB Seagate external hard drive. I use Adobe Lightroom 5 and I use a PC with the latest Windows Office 2013.

  I wanted to have a NEW catalogue of all my rated 1 star + photos of all years in a single catalog. So I created this I called Catalog + Star and told me the best option is to import a catalog at a time, and because there is no way to filter import them just photos now, I would like to import all the photos and then delete all the photos of UnStared. I did for the catalog of the year 2014, but in the end gave me the message: "lightroom could not import this catalog because of an unknown error. He had in fact imported about 40 k pictures of about 50 k total. I tried again and again and each time I end up with the same thing. I created a new another catalog and looked from scratch and the same ting happened: EXACT 40 k photos or JUST have been imported and others were not! When I imported catalog year 2013 of about 45 photos of k, it worked perfectly. But when I imported catalog year 2012 35 k photos, it's the same thing!

  All the tips: 1) on how to solve this problem? and (2) if there is a way better and easier to create this main catalog of all looked at them Photos of all my catalogs?

  Okay, my starting point is that LR can contain fortunately 400000 + photos, and it's a mistake to create a 1 star and catalogue as you suggest. Instead, I would recommend that you create a master catalog of all your photos, you can then question however you want - 2 stars, or a certain keyword, or with "xyz" in the title, etc.

  If you are intent on going this way, you could try a slight change in what you have done so far. Instead of trying to import a complete catalogue and then delete photos of TSE, take the 2012 and 2014 catalogs and select only the photos 1 star. Then to Export in the catalog for these items and import the 2014-1star and 2012-1star in your new catalog. Can pass the problem images that I think are the problem.

  If this does not work, or if you follow my initial advice, you're going to need identify the image where the failure occurs. You may have a corrupted image file, and replacement of your backup can be enough to solve the problem. Alternatively, it may be a corrupted in the catalog folder, and in this case, it may be sufficient to remove the image from the catalog and import it again. You can try to select everything in the catalog of 2014 and see if you can do an export as catalog, creating a 2014 clean and delete file previews of 2014 could also get rid of a potential problem. Another thing is to try exporting in the catalog for images 1-40000, then a second export as catalog images 40002 - 50 k.

  So a few things that you need to try, rather than a magic bullet and a recommendation to change the underlying meaning.

• Could not import the RAW with LR4

  I have done the trial LR4... before LR3 and 1.  Could not import raw with 4 files.  MSG comes up saying, "After files were imported not because they cannot be read."  The reason I try it is because Canon 5 d Mk III and I was told HAD to get it for the treatment of the raw with this device.  Fine imports by iphoto.  I must admit, though, as a dunce, this morning, I put in a new CF card and forgot to format... but I don't think it's because I tried a few weeks previously and had same problem with a card which has BEEN formatted.  I had with iphoto, but they import them in a file on my desktop and then import from the desktop.  Tried this time, but the import column does not appear same office option.  And when I try the end of iphoto, and it arrives at its destination, I'm going under applications, and Adobe photoshop LR 4 is grey so I can't click on it to send pictures... Help!  (PLEEEZZZ!)  Thank you!

  Oh, BTW, I downloaded DNG Converter, but have no idea how it works, don't see a help file with it, and Yes, the version of LR 4 I'm trying is 4.3.

  Make sure you have all the permissions read and write for all locations that you are trying to import the files. (for example if you try to import/copy files to a drive/folder where you have only read access, you will get this message) I think you see this message it is because before LR can read files is they must first be written/copied to the destination.

  Make sure you have full read/write access to all drives/folders, you work with.

  It is best to have your operating system and the applications running a disc, your source media read on the other, and written to another export your files. In this way, the hard drive doesn't have to jump around to read and write from several different locations at the same time essentially.

  I noticed someone suggested to change the import location.  I am "no techno" but I changed import automatic and also tried another location of file as well but got the same message.

  I recently purchased Fuji XT10 camera (released in may 2015), after the shooting in RAW for a reason that the RAF files could not be imported to Lightroom 5. I updated my Lightroom 5 to the more up-to-date version 5.7.1. but still will not change a thing. I am reluctant to convert to DNG because Internet said RAF files retain better details/data to DNG.

  Someone will have a solution to this please, or if someone has the same problem?

  In the future, I strongly suggest that you just use Lightroom to import your images. It works well. There is no need whatsoever to use Nikon Transfer. Is there any reason not to use.

  No problem with Nikon Transfer, providing you up-to-date on a regular basis. It is part of NikonViewNX2 which is regularly updated to include new Nikon cameras. Update of Nikon will notify you of new updates. I use to transfer files nave of cameras D70, D100, D200, D300, D3, D700, D7000, D7100, D800 and D800E as I had them for years. I like it because it of fast, allows me to include copyright data and profile data he copies, and it will also rename it if you wish. They are then ready to be imported into LR.

  My advice is NEVER use the import of LRs. IME process it has never worked well, even when the update.

• Could not import the Photoshop PSD

  It's weird. Try to import a PSD file. Message body cs6 error is "we were unable to open the file on the disk."

  The file is a fixed image that came to me as a JPG. I've read it in Photoshop cs6, cropped it, because the canvas 1920 x 1080 (to match the size of the sequence of the organism), tinkered and ended by running the action of course broadcast on this subject Luminance. Then I saved it in the body as a project folder *. PSD file. As I did hundreds of times now with dozens of projects.

  Attends agency cs6. Find the file using media browser. File... Import media browser gives me a window with the error message "We cannot open the file on the disk." Preview the Source monitor fails.

  What makes this even more frustrating, it is that the organization can find and open the file that I worked on just before this one. Same conditions, same process, same repertoire, same protections on files (I checked that). Two files seem to be exactly the same except for the file name and the content of the file. Everything else is also identical to that I can do. And none of my hard drives are even half full, so it shouldn't be a question of space.

  So if the organization can read one, why can't he read the other? And what I can do to get the Organization to behave correctly and read the file? Files do not appear to be corrupt - Photoshop can read them both very well. In any case, I've recreated the problem from the source repeatedly *.jpg file now so I think I can exclude from Photoshop file corruption on. Perhaps.

  I ruined my brain for 90 minutes trying to understand what has changed between the first file that works and one that doesn't. I came up empty. I worked on one, then the other, then imported the first on body (which worked), and then imported from the other in the body (which failed). Exact same source (both files were attachments on e-mail even *.jpg), same workflow, saved in the same directory. ARGHHHH!

  I did most of the 'usual suspects '. I left off Photoshop both body and restarted. I saved the file problem in other formats (same error no matter what format). So, I turned to Teh Google, that does not turn a large part that relates. Could not find anything in the Adobe Help documentation. So everyone here tell me what is happening?

  Few things to check - is the color of the RGB PSD Mode. It cannot be CMYK, or some other.

  I had problems with dynamic objects, because sometimes, they import all right, but not always.

  Layers of tiny (a few pixels x pixels) were causing problems.

  Adjustment layers have been known to cause problems.

  Normal layers, so long not tiny, always worked perfectly for me.

  Anything else that comes to my mind, but good luck.

  Unit 4.05, Exchange 2000 offbox. I'm trying to re - add a user. When I add the Subscriber I get an unrecognized error 0 x 80010105 occurred: the server threw an exception. The new Subscriber has not been addded.

  The event history is like that. We had a 4.0 Server unit. This subscriber was part of this area of the unit. The Subscriber has left the company and we have removed the user of the unit and disabled the account. In the meantime, the unit was upgraded to 4.05 under a new server name. Active Directory has not changed. Last week the Subscriber a re-joined the company. If we add the disabled account previously, we get the above message.

  I ran Diagnostics of directory as the unit AD DIR SVC account against the capricious Subscriber. All read/write tests came back with a YES.

  I restarted the permissions wizard to verify that those are correct. I went to the user in AD and makes sure that security rights had inherit permissions and I gave the UnityDirSVC a full control to the account.

  I compared with other well-known accounts work, permissions and others, and they are identical.
