Could someone please help me with a problem I'm having with my update s/ie window?
I was trying to find a way to get help with my concern about internet/window update of. 99% of the time when I'm in train to get updated window or check the mails on yahoo and a few other sites, my page is immediately closed. I tried to delete the cookies and files and restarted and system restore and reset my IE as well. Could someone please help me if I can get things and finally be happy and not so stressed. This happened for some time now. I tried to contact technical support, but I can't ever get a straight when clicking we answer contact as normal websites don't. So I try here.
Please help me solve this problem... also I "think" I have IE 8? could be 7, but I think that 8. I can't because it messes up my computer.

Could someone please help with two differences between CS and CS4?
Hello, I have just moved from Photoshop CS to CS4 and have a few questions about the differences I see in both versions.
(1) for the opening of files, I'm used to open them in a smaller view like the individual windows. CS4 open all the images in the expanded view. Is there a way to avoid this? I create massive sports photo (often more than 100 images) galleries generally open 25 to 30 images at the same time and minimize all images and work on it at the same time in chronological order. It was CS4 open these images in full screen, it prevents me from doing this within a reasonable time - PS never opens a group of photos in a true chrono order. He lost the first frame at the end.
(2) to the CS, I used to power the mouse right click on the title bar of the image to change the image and canvas size. Is it possible to get it works in CS4? CTL + ALT and I or C is a process of three keys and takes considerably longer than right click of my mouse and choosing the correct option.

Photoshop CS4 preferences > Interface gives the option to "Open Documents as tabs". If checked, this option opens in view 'tab' in which the image occupies the entire screen. Uncheck the option opens in "floating" mode, which allows multiple images to be displayed to the screen. What is the mode opens, you can switch to the other via the window > reorder the options 'Float in the window' or its opposite "consolidate all windows." Another way to switch tabs floating mode is to drag the title bar of image in the display area. Similarly, you can move from floating tabbed by dragging the title bar in the area of the tabs.

Hi Colin,
The simple answer is that you use a current restore point. It may or may not be a box on the screen that should be checked to show more than 5 days, points of restoration (depending on your version of Windows). Then you select either the 21/08/11 if there is one closest prior to that (if it exists).
When you create a restore point you create one for the computer as it exists now. It cannot create one for a date in the past. Either you have a course available, you will need to use another that always meets your needs or it can be done.

I was on the wrong forum, so I'm starting a new thread. I have a laptop HP, Windows 7 Home, 64 bit. I use VLC player and WMP for different purposes.
For some reason any I don't have easy access to my program VLC. It is not on my list of 'all programs '. I went to start, and search and the program wouldn't come to the top. The only two places I can find it listed on my Uninstall list and default programs. I can't right click anywhere to get a drop down menu to work with. What should do?

1: remove VLC completely from the list 'uninstall '.
2: restart your PC.
3: go here and download VLC. Choose Save as and save it in your download folder. Do not race. http://www.videolan.org/VLC/index.html
4: close all other programs and turn off your security system and then find VLC in the downloads folder and install it.
5: look at all the options. Especially to add desktop and Start Menu icons.
6: restart.

I want to use the OAM Single Sign-On solution integrate with an asp.net application, and I have deployed a development environment based on the 11.1.1.5.0(OAM OAM 11.1.1.5.0 + OIM 11.1.1.5.0 + SOA 11.1.1.5.0 + OID 11.1.1.6 Oracle DB 11 GR 2).
I have two websites:
-> Site1 - asp.net application. In the application, which pages are protected, and pages that are not protected is dynamic, because the administrator can change the settings frequently. So I can't use the definition of static resources to define URL is protected and that the URL is not protected.
-> Site2 - a static website html - I was able to set the Manager sources protected/not protected use of resources/strategy of the OAM.
In Site1, I leave only wanted to use the UNIQUE of the OAM, the asp.net application authentication solution to determine whether the current page is protected:
-> If the page needs the user to log, and then navigate the user connecting to the OAM page, the user must enter credentials; and then OAM will sail to the resource requested to the user if the logged in user.
--> Once the user signed the Site1, then the user access to the protected resources Site2 have more need to sign again. Vice versa.

The .net application organizes resources protected and unprotected in different directories? For example, if all of the protected resources are placed under/dotnetapp/protected then you can always use static resources defined in OAM, as implicit Sandy. (In this case you would define resources OAM/dotnetapp/protected/and /dotnetapp/protected/.../* so that all the resources in this directory are protected.
If the .net resources are truly dynamic and protected place resources side-by-side with resources unrprotected in the same directory and then, Yes, you could develop a .net application which would effectively repeated what does a WebGate - but it would be a development effort.

Let me know what version of Lightroom you are installing and on what version of Mac?
More than once this error pops up when the Mac does not meet the minimum system requirements.

I'm rebuild an old domain to a new site and in order to keep the Page rankings I need to format the pages so that google sees them as http://mysite.com/Page1/Page2/page3.htm . I can get http://mysite.com/page1.com.htm but can't seem to set the tree to display links in the correct way, which of course means that they won't keep their rank.
It seems like it should be easy to do (and probably is) but this newb can't seem to get it.
Any help and advice gratefully received.

I may be wrong here and you may still have to wait a most experienced forum contributor, but I'll say it anyway, I thought that the way to redirect a web page/site is to use a 301 redirect and this will preserve somehow, your ranking. Until you get a more definitive answer, it might be useful research or even ask your hosting provider?

I even downloaded 'explorer processes' off the system restore, rebooted in safe mode, suspension winlogon.exe and explorer.exe and replay all my anti spy/malware/adblocker programs... nothing works and it leads me around the twist. can anyone help with this please. I think I have the answer. You go in my computer and then go to uninstall/change a program in Windows 7/Vista. XP would be in the control panel. Then you scroll down until you see the following entry: "Netbits contextual Tracking. Click it and then click on uninstall it / edit button. This should remove these pesky ads from popping up.
