CP1515n new Toner - left 5% already!

We have recently installed the CP1515n of HP laserjet printers at work, and you experience a strange problem with some of the tonics that were used as spare parts. First, all the toner cartridges are original HP and printers are virtually brand new (less than 1 month) and yet yellow toner, I replaced yesterday shows it as having 5% left and BOTTOM! It has less than 10 pages printed since the replacement. For a cartridge indicating 1400 pages on the box, it's a little a problem...!

Anyway, I know that I can send the replacement cartridge, but someone else has had this problem with the same printer? Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem on site? This is obviously a problem with the chip on the false reporting of levels of toner toner because it must be full!

It is a known issue:

Although override helps keep printing, the printer firmware update will eliminate this from happening in the future.

    Hi, I work for a School District, we have several of these printers and recently had this problem on 2 machines. Problem is that the printer is completely insensitive after installing a new toner real HP 05a.

    Install toner turn printer on, it passes through the light initialization sequence and shows ready, will not print a test page for the PC, will not print a page of the control panel of the printer configuration, will not be recognized through its USB connection (PC gives same message the USB is damaged or defective), does not pick up an IP address and is not accessible via the Web console.

    Turn the printer off and reinstall the old toner put under tension and everything works again, USB is recognized and system installs the drivers, accessible via the Web console, prints the config to the PC and the control panel of the printer. I have 3 used toners and all three will work with both printers, I have 2 new toners and the two do not work in the printer. Thanks for playing.

    I saw a few client computers and forums on other sites about this issue defective chips on the cartridges-back them and replacements should be good.

    On the date indicated on the packaging is the date of manufacture.

    Unlike ink cartridges, toner cartridges do not have expiration or the end of warranty date.

    You cannot uninstall a running operating system.  The best you can do is wipe the hard drive and start over, but which will also remove all programs and documents.

  • HP LaserJet P1102 CE651A does not recognize the new toner cartridge

    I installed a new hp for my Laserjet P1102 toner cartridge, but still get the message "install the black print cartridge"and the orange light blinks.  It worked fine until the toner ran out.  Have tried to reinstall the cartridge and you are using a compatible cartridge, without success.  Can I do, or do I have to repair the printer that appears to be a case to send far from a reconditioned unit?  I am disappointed that he didn't after intermittent use of less than 18 months. It was purchased as the reviews said it would be great for printing of volume, but I have not at this stage yet.

    Any ideas?

    I had the same problem. Remove all paper from the tray. Make sure that no paper is started in the printer. I then replaced the toner cartridge and it was recognized. It seems that if the paper is launched to feed into the printer, then the new toner is not recognized.

    Firefox uses the profiles.ini file to locate the profile folder.

    If this file is not found a new default profile will be created.

    Hello everyone, I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, and I wonder about the same thing. I found a few messages about my problem, but it did not totally help, so...

    I bought an M70 in Germany, he has Win XP it already installed, but I wanted to install my Windows with a different language. When I start the computer from the disk, there are first this blue screen saying that it is responsible for many drivers, etc.. Then, it suddenly stops when he finished to load all the stuff. There is only a cursor in the top left corner (the one in DOS mode) and nothing happens. What could be a problem?

    Is there some kind of blockade on the hard drive that prevent me from formatting the partition and install another system? My windows doesn't include SP2 on cd, usually I install it later.

    I saw at least a similar post, someone suggested to download on the site section to find information of navigation, but I failed in doing that. Can someone help me? I would be extremely grateful for any information!

    I put t really know if included SP2 has something to do with it, but the fact is that the unit is pre-installed with Windows XP Home edition which include SP2. I think that once I read that a guy has to try something similar and included SP2 installation successfully.

    If you can get a CD of Windows XP SP2 home edition installations (any language just to test) Please try to be sure if the problem is occurring because of this. Also, make sure that there is no external device is connected so that the facilities of the process runs.

    My iTunes on my Mac OS X 'Version 10.6.8' is already up-to-date.

    But when I plug my iPhone 6 s "iOS 9.2" of the i tunes it says:

    "The iPhone is useless because it requires a newer version of iTunes."!

    How is that, while I have the latest version!

    Mac OS X 10.6.8 cannot go as far as iTunes 11.4. To get the latest version of iTunes, you will need to upgrade your operating system.

    According to your Mac, you may be able to upgrade to El Capitan for free. http://www.Apple.com/OSX/how-to-upgrade/ to use El Capitan easily, you should have at least 3 or 4 GB of RAM, even though Apple says only 2 GB.

    Then you will have 12 iTunes and you can sync your iPhone 6.

    The cushion click click buttons are replaceable. Before you replace them, I would try cleaning them. Here is a link to Portable keyboard troubleshooting (Windows 8). Please see section sticky keys.

    Here is a link to the laptop HP 15. Please note Chapter 3 page 28 article 3 the part number of the Board button.  There is also a section on the removal and replacement procedures.

  • new, barely used shows already as photo cartridge is almost empty

    I have a photosmart 7520, running on Windows 7 and connected wireless. I recently replaced the photo cartridge for installation with a new photo cartridge, and although I barely printed anything since installing it, the ink level is already shown below. What gives? I printed some diagnostic pages, but that's about all.

    BTW, I do not have print real photos, just regular documents.

    I found that had been suggested by above, leave the printer, eliminates this problem, it was very helpful. Since I started to follow this advice, I have not had any problems with the printer at all and I am happy that I bought it. I hope this helps.

  • CP1515n needs toner yellow - anyway print black and white documents in the meantime?

    Our network CP1515n was displaying some languages set foreign and unused for some time.  When I did a full reset today, the menu now displays in English but the yellow toner is empty and we have no backup for now.  Is it possible to print documents just black & white until we get a replacement toner?  I can't do this 'online '.

    OK, let's see if we can go through and do a replacement, please follow the steps below.

    Press the 'OK' button on the front panel.

    Use of the "< or="">" arrows to highlight - "Print quality" press "OK"...

    Use of the "< or="">" arrows to highlight - "Supplies to replace" press "OK"...

    Use of the "< or="">" arrows to highlight - 'Override out', press 'OK '.

    Now this should allow you to continue printing. Please post your results.

  • Installed new toner, does not print color

    I have a Photosmart 6525 all-in-one printer and the black toner was low, so I bought new genuine HP toner - 564XL. I installed the toner and received a message on my computer thank me for the installation of an original cartridge. However, when I go to print anything, the black is not printing. The toner level shows that the black is full. Maybe I should have bought a non-genuine toner cartridge if authentic one does not!

    FYI: I received help on this problem over the phone. In case anyone else has this problem, what measures are being taken to solve the problem.

    The color cartridges are low on ink, so I had to replace both (because apparently black HP isn't really just black... it's all the colors too. Great way to make us buy more HP ink!). After installing new cartridges color, I cleaned the cartridge heads and realigned. After that, everything worked.
