• Data merge problem - bad values when exporting PDF with "All folders" only

  Hi - I have the weirdest problem with InDesign: I use merge data from .csv to create a deck of cards (9 per page), and when I export to PDF from the data merge Panel, one of my field has erroneous data: it uses values from previous records and which repeat.

  What is strange, is that when the noticed, all right. Is also very good if I create a merged Document and PDF export. Is also very good if I export to PDF using just the range of entries it is play: I don't get that wrong data if export as PDF, "All records" in the data merge Panel.  Very frustrating!

  Someone saw? I feel that my data is ok, if the export of individual records is very well...

  Copy all the fields in a new file does not solve the problem - the same behavior, but after the start of charges, I started to adjust the sizes of the fields and stumbled upon a possible solution.

  A field that trouble is a text box for a single digit, if limits are quite small. The name of the field for example placeholder. > is bigger and complained of cut-off text.  Increase the limits of the text box to be at least the size of the reliable placeholder text solves the problem. It decreases the size of a single digit... back of the problem.

  To say that I'm new to data fusion would be a VAST understatement...

  I'm trying to merge the names of the companies of CSV in InDesign, but the apostrophes in names come through as to the strange time characters when I spotted and merge the document.  Does anyone have a solution? I am desperate at this point.

  Work may be on a Mac with a CSV file generated by a user of Excel on Windows?

  By connecting your CSV, look for the 'Show Import Options' button. There you can select your delimiter (usually a comma, right?) and your platform and Encoding. If my above assumption is correct, then you will want to set it to ASCII and PC , but if it's another arrangement, you must find the right platform and encoding by trial and error, or understand the source encoding and the platform of the CSV in other ways.

• Merge problems

  Using CS4.  I have a repertoire of 40 pages and need to merge into several sections directory.  I added a clean .txt file for each section, for data, created the separate master pages for each section, my data fields, apply the master to correct pages in the directory.  But when I merge, the file resulting reproduced the paper of 40 pages by the number of records in the data file...  I find myself with a 600 page document...

  I need to have the data merged into consecutive pages?  I know I've done this before - cant just remember how!

  I have successfully used the merging of data for

  Which is not true - because the dat merger panel shows all the field names in the CSV file - and I get this error as soon as I place a single field - on the master - check the preview area and the error message coems. I tried placoing on the page of document but no difference.

  My solution was ot find a last tiem form Gall who did not have the dat a fusion inside and to use - however - I ran out of old files with no dat a merger. It almost seems as if once that you do a fusion of data in the file, even if not saved, it somehow it keeps and dwells on.

  I have treid registering as an inx and do in CS3 - but got the same error.

  I went on all loose on the page, one by one - using the story editor to see if there was soemthing bad in the file - found nothing

  Sorry, you're right... it's a variable.

  As near as I can tell, the document is damaged, but it seems that if it can be saved. Make a new A4 doc and rename A template z then it won't replace your master when you bring.

  Now put the two visible documents at the same time and select all of the master pages in the original and drag them from the Pages panel and drop them on the new RFSO. Select document pages, then do the same thing, adding them after page 1. Page 1 to remove and reset the numbering.

• Presentation of recording Multiple merge problem

  I have a document that I have set up for a merger. And I have the data source.

  My goal is to have pages in landscape mode, side-by-side photos captions.

  When I saw it, it's absolutely perfect 100%.

  When I do the merger, it's 50% great and terrible of 50%.

  I have a picture on the left side of each page.

  The right side of each page is empty

  then, there's another picture to the right of the page... right on the white space off the paper,

  and another of my "frames" to the right of this!

• Request to MERGE problem

  I am doing the following things:
  
  (1) to get the values for db to HTML form (for the end-user through my java code) and make a query to select already existing values in the db for a specific user to compare the newly received values
  
  (3) if exists then do not insert. If not exists then insert
  
  some time before an Expert favoured the insertion of the unique values and provided the solution as Oracle FUSION application but it throw errors.

  dmt_cust table is empty and uni_cust table has a duplicate primary key. I want to insert all records from uni_cust to dmt_cust and so no record of dupicate found I want to update some fields in the record. When I run this query occurs primary key violation exception. • MS Word mail merge - problems with sign in

  I ve download Metalink tool. I can open the word template and I do not see the buttons... When you click on get data on request > Contacts... I asks me to Sign In.
  I tried several forms of sign in... using it before I sign OD... with enamel... but so far they are all unsucessfull.

  For customizing the Application of Oracle Fusion, I try to configure the JDeveloper. I do the procedure below

  1 installation and JDeveloper update.

  2.i can able to see the request for merger two role (selected Fusion Application Developer)

  3. to configure the weblogic server built-in, I gave

  3.1) username, word password, confirm the password, address, port

  3.2) I choose user data fusion as fusion_runtime and give details of login password and the application

  3.3) I configured each patterns with their password... but for the owsm_mds schema, I created in separate database and I gave the details of database for the owsm_mds

  3.4) gave the LDAP details

  Click on 3.5) finishing

  After doing all the steps, "field of integrated treatment Weblogic completed successfully" message came in the newspaper. Then the FADevConfigure.py file is opened automatically. If I close this file

  'default domain successfully re-created and configured.' message came then in the newspaper. But the weblogic integrated watch "cannot establish a connection. I tried several times but not able to solve it please guide me...

  You have Python installed and in the path? The fact that its open in a text editor instead of running it seems to suggest there is a problem with the installation of Python. Take a look at:

• problem merging layers

  I CC15 and PS have used for centuries.  Never had this problem!  I had a picture with a number of layers and tried the Ctrl-Alt-Shift and E above the other layers and it does not look the same as what I had below.  I tried to merge down, merge visible layers, etc, but nothing worked.  So I started the merging of individual layers to see where the problem was and ended up with only 2 layers, but still can not merge them and get the original look.  Here is a screenshot of the two layers, a Normal down, top of page an overlay.  And then the second screenshot is what I still end up with!  I appreciate any help!

  What is happening is this:

  Seen in any other ratio of 1:1 (one screen pixel by pixel of an image), what you see on the screen is an overview of caching, resampled. Calculations are performed on this overview on the scale.

  The scale/resampling updated blurs NET angles and so introduced intermediate color values that do not exist in the original. When you flatten / merge, but not before, the full picture is recalculated.

  The effect is more pronounced in the "binary" as the art of black and white, lines frames of halftone (points) or images also very grainy and noisy. Yours would be in the latter category.

  Historically, I guess that this was done to speed up performance. If it is absolutely necessary these days, I don't know, but in any case, it's probably a major rewrite of the entire code Photoshop to change that now. OTOH there may still be reasons to do this way.

  I use a merge statement to update thousands of data in a table. If the criteria does not match (WHEN NOT MATCHED) I wrote an insert statement that contains a reference to the sequence. And it works very well.

  My question is, will this increment also sequence even though it won't insert the statement in the script of fusion. I think it will be. Right?

  Say, I update 20K record will be the sequence also increment by 20 times k. If his past all work around.

  Here is a less effective solution to your problem that creates a function to get the value of the following sequence, but I agree with Justin cave that because of the cache you must lose the values.
