• CP9 - cannot change slide durations

  I have a new project to the CP9. It was built with period slide 3 seconds by default. I need to shorten the duration of the slide for all slides. When I change the slide duration value in the distribution for the slide Board, the change is not accepted.   In all likelihood, synchronization of the object on a slide is the minimum length of the slide control. For example, create a new slide with the same 3 second default. Add an object to the slide (I used a text caption). By default, the object has a length of 3 second. If you try to make the blade a shorter length, Captivate does not. However, if you right-click on the object and set the duration to the 'rest of Slide' there no minimum calue by default and you can then set the length of the blade to any value you want.

  I want to use questions range from MC with partial credit and I want to give negative points for incorrect responses.
  Although this doesn't seem to be a problem, while the question slides are included in the main project (under PROPERTIES > Options I can attribute points to a negative response), the possibility to select the partial partition disappears when moving the question to a question pool and I can not assign different scores to individual responses.

  In this forum, I do not find a solution for the previous versions of the CP; does anyone know if a solution is available to CP9?

  No, partial credit is not available for questions in a pool, not even to the CP9.

  I want that my projects in 100% white as in example 1.

  I tried changing all kinds of options on the slide master and made sure that both projects have the same settings, but I still get a gray color as in example 2.

  (If the solution is to edit the index.html file or any other file I'm happy about it).

  You can change the color of the HTML box around the Captivate project from:

  1. in the menu bar, click themes and select the skin editor.

  2. in the skin Editor window, open the borders page (second means of icon on the left, under the name of skin).

  3. in the theme section, specify the background color of the HTML.

  Try cleaning the preferences (there is a file in the subfolder of the installation folder Utils). Are you running Captivate as an administrator? Can I clear the cache on a regular basis?

  Does anyone know of a combination of measures advances/conditional actions/variables/or any method that will allow me to repeat a single object and effect several times without having to duplicate the real object more than once?  Version Cp9.  Basically repeating the object and accompanying effects several times without dup of the object.

  2. Partially automatic: use a tip action where you use the command apply effect several times, but each with a different departure time (new feature CP9)

• CP9: Motion different trace on HTML5 output swf Animation

  Hi all

  Having a problem where I have a slide in CP9 (inadmissible - timeline below - apologies, without naming convention!) the idea is that the timeline plays and information coming from the right and on the click of the button resumes the chronology and the heads of information off the screen to the left, the buttons along the top are cpCmndResume and the smartshape under them directs the user to a menu.  Also, the "fly in fly in left and right" is a backup effect in order to ensure the same distance of travel on all the objects on the page.

  SWF output that it seems to work perfectly, on exit HTML5 text captions takes the path that they seem to stall as if the "pause" in the buttons is still too early.

  Anyone have any ideas on what this is?

  

  I think that you can run in a bug with 9 effects and Captivate.

  Try to extend the flyin effects and flying every 2 seconds and see if that solves the problem.

  If so, it is likely to be the known issue that others have also reported.

  I hope you kept the unchanged original CP8 project files.

  It is a known problem with the upgrade to Cp9 and was resolved with a patch.

• Can I convert a project from Captivate 7 to 9 Captivate and get breakpoints (as in a new project of Cp9)? Or do I have to recreate the Cp9 project in order to get the publishing features?

  With the project (actually a lot, a lot of modules) in Cp7, I had fixed all the things that were not supported by HTML5 (slidelets, rollovers, interactions) and was just going to publish again. Now that I have updated to the Cp9, I was hoping that I open the project, save the Cp9 and then publish for all devices. I think I may have been too optimistic. So, what is the best way to publish for all devices without re-creating the content as a new project? Thanks for any idea about it.

  No, a sensitive project will have to be recreated from scratch, although you can use the active (open external library) since the original files.

  In Captivate 8, there is an option "in white" mouse if you wanted is here for the next slide, but not visible on this slide. This seems to have disappeared at the Cp9. anyone know where it is, or what I need to create my own "in white".cur file and go from there?

  I seem to have problems with my text entry areas (TEBs).

  Sometimes, these problems do not appear all the time.

  The way you described the configuration and screenshots, it seems to be behaving exactly as it should.

  I was expecting to see THE text caption every time that you click the submit button.

  Should the lost Focus event fires when the cursor was placed in field ETB and then you move outside this field and click on anything, which of course would include by clicking on the button submit of the BER itself.

  So far I don't see any bug or issue here.  Can you describe what you think that SHOULD be the case?
