  Quickly, I created a sample file, just have a slide with three form buttons that act as the toggles and a next button. The first three buttons break late exactly at the same time and the next button.

  Since it's the slide by clicking the audio stops no audio at all (common misunderstanding). I created a shared action, with the purpose to display and the variable (mine are labeled v_one instead of v_visib) as parameters:

If the wrong answer user, there are gray hightlight, which should apears on my chosen wrong answer in a box and stay there to mark already selected response and there is also an animation of text "Sorry, your answer is not correct." under the quiz (on the same blade), who appears the error message instead. No problem, it works, I made a script for it, which is attached to each wrong answer (in edit the Question > advanced (responses) > execute advanced measures). But the problem is with the right answer (it shows text animation "Congratulations!" and the hightlight green box). If I specify the event on the right answer, and then send the correct answer, it shows the hightlight, animating text box, but it does not continue to the next slide! It stucks despite settings change the Question > Options > (if correct) Action: go to the next slide). If I add new statement to my script, which is "Go to the next slide" and then click on the right answer, she immediately move to the next page and does not display the box hightlight and animating text. How can I wait until the duration of the animation ends and after that go to the next slide?

  Add a statement "Continues" at the end of your script, otherwise you will need to click on Skip to go to the next slide.

  I am using Captivate 5 on XP.

  A question on the slides of question and the navigation between them.

  I have a slide menu with 6 chapters. Each of the chapters contain 3-4 slides. After each chapter, I have a question slide by a simple question about the chapter the user just visited.

  What I would like is that if the user answers correctly, he returned to the menu slide. If he or she responds badly, I would go to a saying to slide something like 'you answered incorrectly' and then go at the beginning of the same chapter. It would be even better if the user got another question when it will return to the issue once again.

  Then the same for the rest of the chapters. I already had a final quiz at the end, but I think that in this way with any questions after each chapter will be easier to use.

  Is it possible to orient the user based on the correct/incorrect answer to a question slide?

  What are the parameters of the Quiz? More specific: option then required. By resetting the failure levels, you now have a caption incorrect, right?

  And the quiz carried at least the menu slide, by inserting a button or click box, as Rod suggested at the beginning?

  BTW, if these questions are as simple as that (you may just created a sample) and one per chapter, I would have created question slides myself, not used the default question slides. This way you have full control and no mind as to the scope of quiz.

• How to go to the next slide during Drag and Drop

  I'm trying to go automatically to the next slide after the user makes a three 'drop zone' drag and drop.

  I see the action on the successes in the Panel. I chose to go to the next slide, but nothing happens after I have test.

  I also put in place the right answers for the drop areas three and thought that could trigger the part of "success."

  I understand, but in order to move to the next slide automatically the drag and drop must be introduced. It doesn't matter whether or not you include your drag and drop in a quiz. The option to send automatic drag / move it will include not a quiz, is to check if the answers are correct or not. You can leave to include it in an unchecked quiz.

• cfpresentation - manually switch to the next slide

  Hi All-
  
  By creating a slide show with the new cfpresentation/cfpresentationsilde tags, I was wondering if there is a way to let the user to manually navigate to the next slide instead of use the "duration ="value"" attribute in the tag cfpresentationslide (which causes the preso just continue to the next slide after the number of seconds). Anyone know?
  
  I think that this added functionality is ideal for the CF and I'm blowing all repositories PowerPoint presos. I even built a report showing data exchange using the tag cfexchange! Awesome!

  Hell I have to stop being so lazy...

  After a quick review on the Livedocs for CF8 (which I love btw) the answer to this problem is to define the attribute of automatic reading of the tag cfpresentation on 'no' (or 'false'), which translates as "the user must click the Play button to start the presentation, and click the next button to move to the next slide in the presentation."

  As an added benefit of this feature already-cool-and-be-cooler, this link ( http://www.coldfusiondeveloper.com.au/go/news/by/ray-camden/DE8E6506-C09F-4506-91E4B50AFCB CF9C7 /) talks about how a presentation can be generated, saved to a file, compressed and sent to a user and read WITHOUT CF.

  Should be a continue button on the Quiz results slide.  The actions of success or failure for the general quiz performed only AFTER that the button is clicked.  If you go to the next slide when they should be at least a slide AFTER the Quiz results slide.

  The default test buttons are not configurable. You can leave the default button of the workspace, insert an identical Skip button using n smartshape which places and set the action.

  I am using Captivate 4.

  I have a training course of the system where we require students to enter the date in BER.  After the date is entered, I want that Captivate to move to the next slide.  For example, on the screen 1, learner seizes '060510', then Captivate should advance to the next slide.

  I can do Captivate work very well with the menus text: for example, if the learner takes the correct menu item 'A', so I can put the shortcut to A key that causes Captivate to move to the next slide right now and very well.  But I can't figure out how to make this work with dates.  Any suggestions?

  I can explain why this works, but if I have the key set of shortcut input box text to be using 0 the ' or number: "drop-down list field, then both digital keypad and keyboard work for me.  If I set to include numberic keyboard, then select Numpad 0 AC doesn't work both ways.

  Try to use only the 0 in the number of drop-Numberic keyboard include unchecked.

• Legends, after the next slide

  We have captions on some custom buttons to display the text explaining a topic when the button is selected. The legend set for 3 seconds. If the following custom button is selected before 3 seconds past, the legend follows on the next slide. Y at - it an option to close the text captions when you click on it, given that with the audio?

  The legends of success and failure have properties that need to be addressed individually (legend of the slide right-click and select properties).

  I utilise.8 seconds for my success of legends and keep the text a word or two (* Good Job! *, or * very good *, or simply * correct *). This time is a lot for the eye/brain to absorb feedback, while not long enough for * delay * in the next slide.

  Like the legends of the failure, they can also be long I love, assuming that the slide is not to advance until the action is * correct *, because they are often designed to give many comments before attempting the user, once more, to perform the correct action. FWIW.

  All commands in a standard advanced action will be executed in sequence.   Subscribe to the required option. Since you have endless attempts, user will not be able to get unless it provides a correct answer. And you didn't hide the next button, which means that it can not move. But I think it's a bad idea to allow navigation back, because when a user navigates back, the next button is not there, so it will totally get stuck.  And if you want to allow the review, you need the following button as well. And you don't hide the PlayBar, which means that the user can ignore the questions.

  I would reset the option you want on optional. Then hide PlayBar in Quiz and cannot move backward. Drag the next button under the clear button if you want the ability to review, but I suspect that this is not the case because you show slide of Score, which means that you won't have the review function.

• I can't get the move animation to automatically trigger the next slide

  You can check the Advanced Interaction Panel? You have a note attached to the interactive objects in the simulation? If so, check the desired option Quiz, more specific preferences.
