crash dump: 0x000000E, persists after reinstalling Windows

Original title: crash dump

I have Windows Vista and became the blue screen "flush" with the msg of 0x000000E.  I ran antivirus.  No viruses.  I was getting that 6 to 7 times a day.  Today, I did a system restore and no mistake.  Finally, I backup everything (I thought) and let the system restart from the beginning.  I have the basics on the computer on which it was loaded with and I got a crashdump again with the same message.   What should I do?     Help, please.   I also wonder if I get this "crashdump" fixed, can I easily switch to Windows 7 since Vista or should I stay with Vista.   Thank you!

Hello

You certainly don't want to try to upgrade to Windows 7 while having this kind if problem.

Check with the system manufacturer, their documentation support online and the drivers and their
Forums (if any) for the known issues and solutions possible.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since you returned to the original installation, which excludes many possibilities of software.
Material is always possible of course.

Check this thread for more information using BlueScreenView, MyEventViewer and other methods

be all that caused the BSOD or a Windows component, which resulted in error

Maybe need of these:

You want to manually update the BIOS, drivers from the chipset of low level and important device driver.

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
manually if you wish.

I tried a number of times to upgrade to windows 10. I get c1900101 - 4000D as a mistake. Once, my entire hard drive crashed and I had to reinstall Windows 7. "Configuration settings" is the final phase and fault codes look like c1900101 x400xx. The most common failure here is 40017, which means we could not start. Since this is the first time start us Windows 10 with all the drivers in place, once again, drivers are usually the cause of the accident. These issues tend to be less transient than the 30018 s, then a second test is less likely to solve the problem. Yet, it never hurts to try.

    Try to upgrade manually:

    Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

    then

    then

    • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
    • Reboot several times, and then try again.
    • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
    • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
    • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
    • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
    • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
    • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
    • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
    • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

If the problem persists, try the upgrade manually, but choose the option to keep personal files only, you will have to reinstall applications.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

Do not guarantee, check the root of the drive if there is a Windows.old folder, when it exists, there is chance you might be able to get it back. If this isn't the case, so they left.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

  • How much time after reinstalling window 7 32 Home Premium it take before that receive updates?

    * Original title: update Windows 7

How long after reinstalling window 7 32 Home Premium does it take before that receive updates.

Should be immediately the minute that an Internet connection is detected. I would advise that you install updates Windows Update batch well. There are about 300 post SP1 updates, more if you have reinstalled the version Windows 7 RTM.

My recommendation would be to install updates in batches, these 5 at a time, exclude the hardware/driver updates. Avoid installing a set of updates for Microsoft Windows and Office at the same time. Also, try to install the first small updates. Avoid installing things like the .NET Framework and SQL Express updates.
Whenever you install updates (it's a chore, but it guarantees a more reliable experience). Try to start the Microsoft Office updates for programs such as (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Another thing, try to download the updates, and then install them. When you are prompted to restart, disconnect from the Internet and restart your computer.
To proceed with the installation of additional updates.
If the continuous computer to become unresponsive, try the following:

You can reset the Windows Update components by running the Fixit on this page.  But if there is malware present, she will continue to reset the connection to the update servers:

Suggest you download and save the Fixit.  Then configure the system before the clean boot by running:
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista/Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously.  Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode.  Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers.  If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode.  Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.
I suggest before you stop and install the updates, disconnect from the Internet, first.

After Reinstalling windows 7 has stopped opening some files PSD files. I try to open them with Photoshop version 6, it does not work. I tried to open them on the laptop, same garbage. Tell me what is the problem. And how to fix it. Thank you.

Maybe these files have been corrupted. I can't say how it happened, but it is quite possible. And the files are no longer open, immediately after reinstalling windows? Or not?

If so, it is very rare in my opinion. You are very unlucky. Try to reinstall photoshop. Then check that these files have been opened or not. In the opposite case. Then the only solution is a special software. I would use this program http://www.photoshop.recoverytoolbox.com/ on your site

If this isn't the case, you will need to do. Support web site of the manufacturer of the computer to check for the drivers for Windows XP for your model specific computer/specifications.
