  What you've done by duplicating your project is the first thing that I would have suggested, (using the copy as command Snapshot is a manual way of backup and that some editors commonly use for version their projects.)

  But that is not answering the question of why your library is not automatically back up as it should. (I guess you already checked the location of the backups in the property inspector library > storage locations.)  First of all, remove preferences when you launch FCP. We e the new empty library as a library of important one test and edit to the project timeline.  Work on something else for 20 minutes, stop and check your backups folder.  If a backup was created, I suggest to move the event/project work to the new library. Open the working draft, do a trivial edit (after another 20 minutes) leave and see if things are back to normal.

• The file size of Photos library don't to shrink when I remove the images from the library

  Subject line pretty much sums up it.  Let's say I have create a library of Photos and import of 100 photos. The file "Library.photoslibrary Photos" grows to a certain size, as expected. But if I remove some of these pictures does not take the size of the file photoslibrary. If I import images more library file grows again, but it never reduces when I delete the images from the library.   I use Symantec ghost and I m very happy. I created an image file that has been placed to the second request, and if something goes wrong, I m able to install the OS from the image file.

  I use Norton Ghost 2003 to create the backup image file. The application is simple to use and I saved the picture on my second partition. If something goes wrong, I can restore the unity of the image any time.

  Is it possible to extract individual files from a library?  I downloaded a driver by a hardware manufacturer, but the files are all grouped together in a library.  The screws were created with an older version of LabView and I did not need all the.  I've updated the files I need and now I want to put them with other files in a project and create an executable file.  It is better to bother with or should I just put the entire library in the project?

  Easy way: convert the .llb into a directory. Then, you can simply move the files. Use the LLB Manager (Tools-> LLB Manager).

  Hard: then open each VI and make a file-> save as.

  If you don't have a recovery disk, you must have a recovery partition to do the same thing

• Repair disk created with backup/restore of Windows 7 will not work

  I have a new HP Desktop running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  It is using UEFI firmware and GPT disks.  I created a repair (CD) disc using Windows 7 backup and restore program.  The CD filled very well.  However, when I try to boot from the ERD, I get an error message and it won't work.  Does anyone have any ideas / solutions?

  Moreover, I have a HP laptop and create a repair disk and boot from it works very well.  He is also running Windows 7 Pro, but isn't using UEFI firmware.

  3 UEFI - there could be other useful UEFI threads in the forum but I don't know enough to judge.

  4 on Recovery DVD - the term is often used quite loosely to mean a floppy disk with drivers above but, assuming it is an export of DVD of the restore partition factory created by using a utility from HP which clearly indicates that it is a tool for this precisely, so he could fall foul of the same show UEFI as far as I know.  If it wasn't the UEFI, I would say, Yes, it's true.

  I've been creating a CC library for all of my active work by adding all styles of every time I finished a new document. I certainly have not been very careful and have now a bunch of duplicate styles. I waited an easy solution, but am not finding a way to easily remove duplicate styles. Am I missing something?
